I work in law and scanning a document shouldn't be charged whether it's one page or 1,000 pages If their machine is slow as they claimed over the phone then why should the client be penalized then excuses it with "well my employee stood there for two hours!" So what?! That's why she's your employee that you hired to provide a service for an hourly wage. Not in my years of experience doing immigration work or personal injury work have I ever charged struggling families for this. That's not right. I can only imagine the insane amount they charge for getting your taxes done here. These are hard time for immigrant families, this is not the time to be greedy. Actually it never is the time.
