The owner is phenomenal at working with her athletes to make sure each is pushing themselves in a safe but challenging way, and routinely suggests modifications to scale up or down workouts unique to the athletes ability (or injury). CFHers are all skill/ability levels and coaches are as excited to work with someone who's never set foot at a gym as someone who's been going to the Open for years. It's a great place! Being in a class/group environment is really a big change from working out in my basement. Everyone that I've interacted with there is very very helpful. The coaches are amazing, giving personal attention to everyone. I've been working on my form and learning the right way to get fit. Here's a tip that I've learned since going to CFH: Check your pride at the door. Unless you've done crossfit before, you have a lot of acronyms to learn, and you will likely be corrected a few times with your form and such. You're learning correct form, so it's for the best. The gym is clean, well organized and a great place to get fit.

This place is 24/7 for members and it has all the equipment of a big box gym but less people. I have been attending group classes for about 2 months now and like it. I asked about pricing and exceptions The man in the front explained everything however what was not posted or even stated was their agreement rules. I was told that upon signing up I would receive a call to set up a day and time with the trainer; 299 for 4 weeks one day a week. When I signed up it was the beginning of the month ( February 2nd) strike 1 did not receive a call to schedule until a week later, strike two could not match schedules so I asked them to cancel my membership and because we could not find something that matches our schedules and I never was given services to refund me. They said in their agreement that they do not do refunds. Where is the agreement posted in their gym, and it was never sent to me. I literally had to search their website to find information. I disputed the transaction within my bank and lost...ok fine but now they say I owe 65 after multiple emails telling them I want nothing to do with company is crazy. This company is not honest, not transparent, and my experience has been the worst!

There wasn't anyone at the front desk but I overheard an explanation being provided of to someone so I listened in. The space is an open room with cubbies for your belongings and then a front desk area with some retail and a few hi top tables. The class started at 12:10 and is shown on the television. The workout itself is a circuit that gets you to all of the stations including some strength work, cardio and ends with abs. I loved the strength and ab work and the music. Other than that I didn't care for the combination of the television guide, the 4 different types of boxing bags (I prefer the aqua bag) or the bright lights during the workout. The set-up reminded me of orange theory which wasn't for me the few times I tried it. I think 7-8 stations going at once was also too distracting for me. The instructor was really nice and did his best to check in on everyone but it wasn't enough for me, I couldn't keep up with all the competing voices and movements. If you're seeking a fast paced full body workout you should check out this location.

Coach Eric is such a great trainer: knowledgeable, personable, certified, and motivational. I e cycled through trainers through the years and I can confidently say Eric is the truth. I joined this gym because it was convenient and close to home. At $41.40 per month, I expected a clean, safe, and professionally run facility. Unfortunately, I left extremely disappointed. My experience started on the wrong foot. When I signed up, I was charged about $180, which I was told included my first month's membership, application fees, a personal training session, and a meal plan. While I received gym access, I never received the training session, or meal plan I paid for. The facility itself is outdated, poorly maintained, and extremely cramped. There is only one cable machine, located in the middle of the gym, which constantly creates congestion. Several machines had torn seats repaired with duct tape, and broken equipment was often left sitting on the floor instead of being repaired or removed. I also regularly saw broken dumbbells left on the floor. Downstairs, the squat rack sits extremely close to the bench press and has no safety spotter arms. The assisted pull up and dip machine was also broken, with the assistance platform sitting on the floor instead of functioning. The atmosphere also became uncomfortable over time. Although the staff initially promoted a family oriented environment, I often felt watched rather than welcomed. Staff frequently swept or cleaned directly around me while I was working out, and whenever I needed assistance, I felt dismissed rather than helped. The music was consistently far too loud, and the locker rooms often had no paper towels. The incident that ended my membership was the most disappointing part of my experience. I brought a friend as my guest and paid for his guest pass. Before we even started working out, I was repeatedly asked whether I was personally training him. I explained multiple times that I was not a personal trainer and that we were simply friends working out together. During our workout, we were sharing the gym's only cable machine and taking turns between sets. While I waited for my turn, I gave my friend a few pointers on his form, something many workout partners naturally do. The manager later claimed I was personally training him because I wasn't actively lifting at that moment. From my perspective, that made no sense because we were simply alternating sets on the only cable machine available. Despite repeatedly explaining this, our workout was cut short after about 20 minutes, and we were asked to leave. Unfortunately, the problems continued afterward. The incident occurred on June 10, and I never returned after that day. I was not refunded for the remainder of that month's membership or for the guest pass, even though our session had been cut short. Then, despite the manager telling me my membership would be canceled, I was charged for another month. When I returned to resolve the issue, the manager was unavailable, and the front desk could not assist me or provide me with a way to contact him. Overall, I paid for services I never received, dealt with outdated and poorly maintained equipment, broken dumbbells and broken equipment left on the floor, an overcrowded layout, disappointing customer service, and unresolved billing issues. I genuinely wanted to like this gym because of its location, but my experience was consistently disappointing from beginning to end. Everyone's experience may be different, but based on mine, I cannot recommend this gym. For the price they charge, I expected professionalism, proper maintenance, good communication, and fair treatment. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.

Trainers that care about getting you to your goals!…read more I've been a lifelong on/off gym member and never could really follow through. 10 months ago I joined Elite Technique and its the first time I've gotten real results. It's because the trainers are motivational and really keep you accountable. Coach Nigel is super responsive and really pushes me to the next level. Through the highs and lows, he really adapts our training to match me. The community is super fun too-- Katrina, Coach Gary, Yaire, Gabe all bring such good energy. The fitcamps on Saturday's are a lot of fun and help keep you in the right mindset through the weekends and keeps you motivated. Highly recommend!

I found the organization on Yelp and went to the @elite_technique instagram website and was immediately amazed by the results being shown. This was all I needed to see to convince me that this was place that I needed to join. I contacted Elite Technique via Yelp to establish my membership, in addition to asking any other pertinent questions and obtaining necessary details. You have the option of going to five days a week and an extra day of Saturday Morning Bootcamp is included. The sessions are normally thirty minutes (more so HIIT style) workouts that consists of specific plans for your specific goal. Elite Technique also provides meal plans, in which you can reach out to your trainer for motivation in remaining consistent. Each trainer is assigned one to two clients per session to ensure Social Distancing guidelines are followed. Everyone in the gym must also bring a large towel to cover equipment, in addition to wearing gloves that cover your entire hand. Elite Technique is constantly being cleaned by the trainers with disinfectant wipes/spray during and after the use of equipment. I was assigned Miguel as a trainer. Miguel pushes me and I really appreciate him for that. To be honest, all of the trainers are very friendly and motivating. Deciding to attend Elite Technique will be an amazing choice for anyone that needs assistance on their fitness journey.
