I'm extremely disappointed to hear that the cinema room is being taken down. This is honestly a horrible idea. The cinema room is one of the main reasons I come to this location--I drive 20 minutes specifically to do my cardio there. It creates a unique, motivating atmosphere that makes long cardio sessions enjoyable, and there's nothing else like it in the area. Please reconsider removing it. The cinema room sets this gym apart from others, and taking it away would be a huge loss for many members who rely on it to stay consistent and motivated. read more

Gold's is a powerhouse. It dominates all other box gyms in the area. It has updated and state of the art equipment. It offers a variety of training disciplines and lays host to many different toys that help incentivize gym goers to think outside the box. The crowd can be heavy at times but it does offer much to everyone at every fitness level. read more

Good equipment and very clean.however the manager is a rude butthole.(trying to keep it clean)so I broke my foot so my wife took me to golds and went in on crutches.the manager made a couple of nasty comments when I asked him to put my membership on hold until I heal up a bit.the took 299$ out of my account.i sent a registered letter addressed to don and Tammy.they received the letter but didn't do nothing to help me out with my membership.with that being said golds can go F off.buyer beware.they are not decent people.they are thieves. read more

When signing up they're $49 enrollment fee money back guarantee is false advertisement it says you can cancel before 2 weeks I canceled in a week and they said it takes 5-10 days to get the email which I still haven't got and not only that they charged me $20.00 for the 2 weeks of having it meanwhile I canceled it in one and when signing up it wasn't even $49 it came out to $68 so if anyone is thinking about signing up to try it out you shouldn't cus it defin wasn't worth that much read more

Gym had a lot of different spaces, especially liked the separate women's area. Was looking into signing up, but the pushy and condescending messages I received from the sales person, Thomas deterred me and led my fiancé to leave his membership as well - exchange attached. I know gyms typically have times they do deals for very reduced enrollment fees, not sure why it's a crime for me to wait till they have an better offer during the holidays. Shouldn't have someone in sales if they don't know how to sell. A simple "Thanks for your interest, happy to discuss further when promotions are available" or "Sorry, I'm unable to do a better deal on the enrollment" would have sufficed. read more

Amazing customer service and gorgeous gym! I "joined" here on a trial for the remainder of the month when my gym unexpectedly closed down. Gold's was welcoming and accommodating enough to offer the remaining of the month free, which made me even more inclined to join due to their spectacular business practice! As for the gym, it doesn't get much better than this facility! So spacious that it never seems crowded, nor do you feel uncomfortable when you're lifting. The equipment is the best. With the exception of a few grumpy personal trainers, staff and management are excellent. Equipment is vast, varied, and available most of the time. Members are committed to fitness, personable, and respectful. In person class instructors are quite possibly the most fun group of professionals I've ever encountered. Shout out to Joseph! Not a good gym for most there where almost no weights and the gym gets packed so to location it was nice but I recommend trying to go when it's not busy because it gets really busy and almost everything is take. Toon of cardio but there are much better options in the area read more

The Gym has a beautiful sauna that is being over run by girls who refuse to obey the rules and still bring their cell phone into the sauna. Even though there is a sign, no one is enforcing the rules. Also the fact they're wearing dirty clothes and sneakers into the sauna, is also for concern. It has to be some sort of health code violation. It's really a shame that all members cannot enjoy something they pay for because other members take ownership and will not follow the rules. Hoping mgmt will do something about this. read more

The facility is nice and the equipment is great but the only issue I have is with the so-called personal trainers. Very unprofessional people there in the evening. They seem to be oblivious to real members cursing and carrying on as if they are on the street. I would avoid any personal trainer there as it looks like they are picking from the bottom of the barrel. read more

It's a good gym but if you like or need a Steamroom like I do, it is a Fail. I waited for them to first open up and then put in their steamroom and sauna, for 4 months. The Steamroom went in about a month ago, worked for a single day and then broke. It basically just stayed broken. I called and called to find out if it was working and people who answered the phone would tell me it was working, but then I would go in and it would be broken and I wasted a trip. I got to use it a grand total of one time. So if you don't care about a Steamroom, it's a good gym. If a Steamroom is one of the main reasons you sign up for it like I did, good luck. I wonder when, if ever, it will be fixed? I will be long gone by then. read more

I think service is key. And I just didn't find this from the management team and staff at this gym. I was very excited the owners from newburgh golds was opening this location because that gym is amazing, but this gym is nothing in comparison and not worth the membership monthly rate. No pool, small layout, nothing special and bad service. read more

I was a member of Gold's Gym until the end of June 2019. On June 14, 2019 I told the personal trainer that I had been working with that I would not be available the following month for training and that I wanted to cancel July. So we went and sat down with one of the sales men who related that it was postponed and I would not be billed. I had been training with the personal trainer for two months already. On June 17, 2019 I has a workout but was extremely tired throughout the workout. On Friday June 21, 2019 I went to the gym but was physically unable to work out. On Saturday June 22, I was admitted to the hospital and had to have a procedure done on my heart on June 24, 2019. On the afternoon of June 24, 2019 I notified the personal trainer that I was in the hospital and would not be able to make the session. I had a second procedure done on July 5, 2019. This gym charged me $384 on June 29, 2019 for a personal trainer for the month of July. read more
