I got a new set of acrylics on Monday, May 26th. By Saturday, May 31st--just five days later--I noticed the acrylic was already peeling away from my natural nails. I immediately called the salon and was told to come in the following day to have them fixed, free of charge. When I arrived, I spoke with the owner--who also happened to be the one who did my nails. I explained the issue and showed her the peeling. Rather than taking accountability, she blamed it on oil or lotion on my nails or claimed she may have been having a "bad day" when she did them. I asked if she could fix them, and she said she could, but that I'd have to pay again for a rebase. When I requested a refund instead, she pointed to a sign stating "no refunds after 3 days." I reminded her that she did the work and admitted it might not have been done properly. Still, she refused to make it right. At that point, it was clear she wasn't going to stand behind her work. I left extremely disappointed, not just by the poor quality of the nails but by the complete lack of professionalism and accountability. Getting your nails done is not cheap, and customers have every right to expect quality and durability--especially within the first week. Five days is far too soon for acrylics to be lifting, and blaming the customer instead of owning the mistake is unacceptable. I will not be returning to this salon, and I won't be recommending it to anyone. If this is how they handle legitimate concerns, it says a lot about their standards and customer service. read more

I must say calling in to make an appointment made such a difference. We didn't have to wait. We just walked in at our appointment time and sat on the chairs. Just got done getting my spa pedicure done. I'm not sure the name of the lovely lady who did my pedicure but she did a fabulous job. My husband got a spa pedicure as well and he enjoyed it too. He often goes there once in a while to treat himself to a foot and leg massage . But this was the first time I have been here. I definitely enjoyed the spa treatment and massage on my feet and legs. The lovely lady did a great job on my toe nails. After paying for the spa pedicure our feet felt like they were walking on clouds . I would definitely come back here. It is that time of the season get to wear sandals. Time for a pedicure. I have been coming to Nails Maxx for a couple of years. They have appointments and walk-ins available. It is clean and sanitary in their business. Once seated we are asked if we want some water or hot tea. I took the tea, green tea, nice and refreshing. I got the full deal, oh the warmth of the rocks, the massage, so relaxing. All of the employees are kind, patient and helpful. The only draw back is the employees don't speak English well, then they wear mask, it's very hard to hear or understand them. Other than that it's my go to place for pedicures. I absolutely love this place!!! After being a loyal customer over at Demi's for quite a long time(I mean years and years,) and realizing their customer service had greatly declined, and that the amount of people getting in/out over quality of care became the priority, I finally had had it after the receptionist was very rude for the 3rd time (I just let it sort of slide the first couple times thinking maybe a rough day.) So I searched around for other places nearby and found Nails Maxx. I went the first time and had a wonderful experience. They took their time, paid attention to detail, and really made me feel at home rather than just rushed in/out. I came back a second time for both a mani and pedicure this round too. The second time was even better! I did the pedi with aromatherapy, and had the most relaxing experience ever! Tina did my pedicure and was phenomenal. I will probably ask for her every time I go back now. Haha She made light but comfortable conversation, and took her time really giving the most relaxing pedicure ever and making sure I was enjoying it along the way. Thao did my manicure and was very sweet, also paid attention to detail, and best of all-- TOOK HER TIME! It came out great and I left feeling amazing, very welcomed & pampered, and nails looking great! I can't sing their praises enough! I will most definitely be back. Im a duchess at this nail salon with no complaints. Linda is my nail tech and she is an absolute master. Most places have zero customer experience. Linda makes you feel like you're the only person she is taking care of. When you look around the nail salon, every tech is the same way. I recommend making an appointment before going, so you don't have to wait. They do have a receptionist that asks how you want your water temperature before each pedi. This is a great touch. Its a quite atmosphere which is great if you want to relax. The massage chairs make for extra relaxation. I personally don't get acrylic nails but I've seen there work and its impressive. I will continue to come to this nail salon every couple weeks. If you want your feet and hands loved on... THIS IS THE SPOT. read more

I was visiting from NY and and every salon in NY is busy, however, the messy and dirty ones don't stay around. They push a gel manicure, which I didn't want, nor did I want on my granddaughter. I was okay when I walked out, than I noticed my cuticles were hacked and my polish was thin. Usually when i get gel it has more layers. I payed 76 +tip and it was not worth the price. I also payed for deluxe and I did not get a worthy hand or calf massage, she rubbed my legs with lotion for 2 minutes and my hands for 30 seconds each. Sorry I usually feel bad about posting a bad review, However this is money not well spent I can get better service for 40 $ including tip elsewhere. read more

I went to Nails Maxx today to get a pedicure. For those of you gentlemen that haven't been, you are missing out. It's equivalent to a really good foot massage. This nail salon is close to where I live and very convenient. It sits in a small strip mall surrounded by a few other local businesses; three of which are popular chain establishments. This little mall is very busy and people usually come and go regularly. I called ahead to make sure they had space available and the man I spoke with said they did. I arrived and after just a few minutes was seated in a nice, comfortable massage chair with a warm foot bath. The water was a nice medium hot temperature and it had a pleasant neutral smell that was calming. Also the bottom of the bath had massaging bumps which felt very enjoyable. It was a full house in that all the staff members, except an employee who seemed to be the manager, were helping customers at both the manicure and pedicure stations. Though, I had to wait a while to get helped, the warm water, massaging bumps and massaging chair were plenty to keep me relaxed. The staff member who gave me my pedicure did a great job. After she went through the entire cleaning process, she finished up with a foot massage, lotion and hot rock treatment. Overall, it was a great experience that I would return for again and again. I wasn't sure what I wanted at first so I looked on Pinterest for several ideas and showed Leslie. She incorporated what I like and made it unique to my style. I've gone here a few times, the first time was good, second time was ok just the wait was long, this last time I got right in and the lady who did my pedicure was probably in the worst mood possible! She was short, she kept getting bugged because my feet would move, I paid for a super deluxe pedicure and she spent no more than 25 minutes on me. I asked several times for my nails to be changed because they were way shorter then I wanted them. My french tips were thick when the picture i showed them was thin french tips. They left a lot of excess white polish underneath the nail and didn't clean them up. very bad attitude when I walked in too. read more

Well, I decided to give this place a try because the pictures on here were very pretty. I will not be going here again. Everything felt extremely rushed. I left with a cut on every single finger. The guy was filing my full set so hard that it rubbed over and over on the sides of my fingers and underneath the nail. It rubbed against the skin so hard that it broke the skin. I just got home and my fingers all have blood and are stinging. I guess he couldn't feel me pulling away until the end when I just couldn't take the filing anymore. I asked for coffin shape, and got thin square, so he also didn't really know how to make the shape. I'm not sure who did the nails in the photos, but not everyone there knows how to do nails like those. read more

Horrible experience! First of all place is dirty looks like it doesn't get cleaned dust everywhere and junk piled up in the corners. I was in a rush so I decided to get my nails done there anyway since it was on my way out of town. I got a gel mani and regular pedicure. The guy who did my nails had no customer service what so ever was rude every time you asked for something. Pedicure was horrible didn't even scrub my feet basically painted my nails. He didn't even give me disposable sandals to walk over to the station were he would do my manicure. Had me walk barefoot and the dirty disgusting carpet. They will tell you 15 minutes and it'll be at least an hour and a half. I got there at 11am, it says they open at 11am online and 12pm at the door, I arrived with 5 other people and they took all of them back first then I sat for over an hour and a half before finally leaving. They had people come in and ask for an appointment right after 11am and they came back at noon and got seated and helped before me. After waiting for an hour and a half I was #7 in line after they helped all of the other people and appointments. They told me 15 minutes and after waiting for an hour and a half it very easily could have been another hour and a half before I was helped. Not to mention it was filthy disgusting in there. read more
