I never leave reviews, but for this location I will leave one because I left the salon in tears the day prior to. I'd give this nightmare of a location 0 if this thing let me. I'm not the usual complainer but this one topped it off for me; DO NOT COME HERE. I went in for the first time wanting to try out this spot and lemme tell you, I REGRETTED making that decision. Came in for a pedicure with a friend and the male I had was already standoffish when I had him. I asked for a French tip, a simple flower design on my big toe and asked to cut my toe nails slightly shorter. Tell me why he was on Opposite Day. Cut my nails EXTREMELY short, messed up a French tip and gave me some weird lemon tree design on my toe. Never asked if I was liking it until the end once he cured it and can't go back. There was a nail that he cut super crooked and I asked if he can fix it. His solution? He cut them all down even shorter. I went home, looked at the design and called the location and the owner said she'd fixed it personally after trying to explain the issue 6 times since there's a language barrier between the both of us. I got there and guess who was going to fix it? The man who messed them up... he started grabbing my feet aggressively moving them around like he was annoyed, also slamming things around to get the point across and I told him I was sorry for the inconvenience (even though he was watching something on his phone doing nothing and he wasn't suppose to be the one to fix it) and gave him a design I wanted. 10 minutes in, the owner comes up and they're arguing back and forth about how long he's taking and he needs to just do it this way (yes, I understand Vietnamese but didn't tell them) and it got to the point where he gripped on my foot way too hard and I got into an argument with him saying he didn't need to grip on my foot so hard and he can tell me to move it a certain way and I would. I told the owner he needs to stop touching my feet because he's getting aggressive for no reason. She continued to "fix" the design and both of their half ass effort made the design worse. I started to cry because I was so frustrated and getting spoken about in a different language was not appropriate. I left upset and realizing that someone who looks like me they will not cater to and treat like an inconvenience when their employees barely know how to do pedicures. I'm never coming here again due to their actions and resolutions and I hope you change your mind on wanting to try this horrible place out. read more

I paid $70 for a liquid gel manicure and got it done by Tony. He seemed very rushed and filed extremely aggressively, which left my nail beds and fingers raw. This was just the first flaw with this salon. After coming home I had started to notice my cuticles were very red and started to blister. It continued to get worse leaving me to have to remove them after only 4 days of wearing them. You can see how irritated and red they are in the picture I provided. I don't have a picture when the previous nails were on, since the nails in this picture are just press ons. I also got a pedicure which I would definitely recommend, the ladies were super nice and created such a fun environment. They left me with a beautiful pedicure! Highly recommended: I had a wonderful experience at Goldust Nails Bar! Louis (the receptionist) gave us a special, stress-relieving tea blend of his own creation, Henry did my daughter's acrylic nails, and Winnie did my pedicure - it was incredibly comfortable and relaxing. All three were fantastic - extremely friendly, patient, and truly attentive to detail. My daughter brought a picture, and Henry took the time to make sure everything on her hands looked neat and exactly as she wanted. The salon is very clean and relaxing, and you can tell they genuinely care about their customers. My daughter's nails look beautiful and are still perfectly intact. Definitely ask for Henry or Winnie if you go there, and of course, don't forget to try Louis's relaxing tea! read more

I've been to quite a few nail salons around Peoria, and Goldust Nails has quickly become one of my favorites. The salon is clean, relaxing, and the staff are friendly without making the experience feel rushed. You can tell they really care about the quality of their work. My technician took their time shaping and perfecting my nails, and the attention to detail was impressive. Everything looked clean, even, and lasted much longer than sets I've had done at other places. If you're looking for a reliable nail salon in Peoria with talented technicians and a welcoming atmosphere, Goldust Nails is definitely worth a visit. I'll definitely be coming back. read more

I swapped nail salons after six years to Goldust about two months ago and am so happy I did. Carol was the first technician I met with and she is absolutely amazing and I've been stuck ever since. She is so kind and takes her time to make sure it's exactly what I want each visit and does such an amazing job. The entire staff, atmosphere and salon are wonderful.
