Not quite the same fun place when I was a kid. Mini golf was ok but frankly overpriced compared to competitors in LA. Also, one of the courses was closed seemingly for reason so that was irritating. The guy who took my money for golf was kind of rude but most annoyingly of all, he got on the loud speaker every 5 minutes and went ON AND ON AND ON about closing within an hour and "please finish your golf and video games And yada yada yada" and it was just annoying as hell! We get it! You close at 9! We heard you the first 5 times and we are some of the only people here! Please STFU and let us enjoy our golf game without your obnoxious and unnecessary announcements. We went on a weekday to get away from the crowds and crap but that was pretty annoying. I feel like Ventura deserves better mini golf. read more

I had so much fun!!!! My husband and I drove past this when we first moved here, and decided to give it a try for date night. Completely exceeded my expectations surprisingly mainly because I didn't know mini golf could be so fun and have so many courses, that place was really well built as far as the golfing goes. Which is th only thing we did aside from the photo booth wich was extremely tiny but super fun as all photo machines are. I'm just overall pleased the staff was nice the course was so fun and there was so many great places to take pictures we made so many good memories tonight we will definitely be back! Went there with family for an afternoon trip. There was 9 of us. Read some reviews before we went and was a little hesitant based on some bad reviews. All in all we had a fun time and a good experience. We went early before it got too crowded on the weekend so really didn't have to wait at all to get on the rides - go carts, bumper cars, and bumper boats. Most of the staff was friendly but there were a few exceptions. We found the mini golf course fun and in good/fair condition. The arcade was very clean and didn't find and games that were out of order. Kids had a lot of fun in arcade trying to win tickets for a prize. We didn't have anything to eat so couldn't comment on the quality of the food. Overall we would definitely go back again. read more

I planned a fun weekend for my boyfriend and I and this was our activity for his birthday.... but once I saw these reviews I got super nervous. We decided to go anyways and boy were we pleased. We got the blue wrist band as we wanted to do one round of golf, go karts and some games. We did the golfing first and chose the course to the right, loved the course! Before each hole there was a tabletop to write the scores and a bench (loved this as someone who can't stand long!). All of the props around the course were fun and goofy, we loved taking pictures! I was pleased with the go karts, lots of twists and turns on the course. We were almost taken back by the arcade because the games were so new and digital, ones which we had never seen since we hadn't stepped into an arcade for 10 years or so. Super fun trying these "brand new" games together. In addition to the 4 tokens we each got we got $10 of tokens which got us 48 more tokens then probably spent another $5 or so. Probably spent around $70 total and were here from 5-8pm or so. Love the prizes we got too. They did close early due to a private event, so it did suck that they hadn't posted that on their website, but they were very very clear on this early closing and made sure to kept annoucing when they would close, so I thought it was pretty fare. Don't be scared by these reviews, try it for yourself! We probably will come back. read more

Took my daughter to the Ventura golf and stuff and my daughter had a great time playing golf. Unfortunately, half of your machines and arcade machines were out of order. The kids working there are not friendly nor courteous. The employee used a calculator to add up two ticket receipts, one for 100 and one ticket receipt for 14 tickets. Poor customer service experience overall. I just wanted to reply to the comment below. I wasn't frustrated with anyone just disappointed. A simple "hi" or "may I help you" from employees doesn't cost much, but does go a long way. Also, I am pretty certain more than 12 machines were out of order. Moreover, they were the more popular machines. If there is a next time, I'll make sure to count them. read more

Fun for the family, two crazy/mini golf courses, a few rides and a very noisy indoor arcade. The property has been around along time and could use an upgrade . The arcade games give tickets which kids can exchange for prizes. It's best to avoid calculating what the tokens cost win the tickets vrs value of prize (but that's true of Chuck E Cheese, Dave & Busters, Vegas) If you set your expectations modesty you can enjoy kids have a good time without a long drive to a more impressive park. read more

I've been going here since I was a little kid playing Kung Fu Master and Punch Out. Never a bad thing to say about the place or the staff. Some shady kids go there from time to time, but the same can be said about your local schoolyard. Have loved this place since I was a kid. Frequently stop here to go to the arcade on date nights and have taken my family here to play mini golf. Arcade has machines down a lot, but they fix them frequently enough and the staff will give you new tokens if a machine steals them. Overall it's a nice place to go. However, recently, while my boyfriend and I were in the parking lot a security guard knocked on our window and told us to leave the car to enter or to move elsewhere. I had been fixing my hair and had not even been parked there for two minutes- he saw us pull in. I understand wanting to free spaces for more customers, but there were available parking spots in the same row. After telling him that I was just brushing my hair before going in he held our door open and told us we had to leave exactly at that moment or to leave the premises. We were planning on going in and playing a couple rounds of Guitar Hero but after the rude treatment we decided to leave instead. Probably will not being going back, which is unfortunate because we loved going there, but the rude staff ruined a good night and we don't want to have that happen again. read more

My husband, kids and I visited this place for the first time a month ago. We had a fabulous time with the mini golf and especially the bumper boats. The employees manning the bumper boats were very helpful getting us in and out and you could tell they were having fun. My only suggestions are to post a sign with LARGE letters stating that closed toe shoes are needed for the Indy cars and to also have shade areas to help us escape the heat when it gets bad. This place is the worse. It looks fun when you drive by on the freeway, but once inside-it's a hell hole. First, they wouldn't honor the coupon I printed (they said I had to "click" on the icon). This place is horrible and dangerous ! We arrived at 1030pm to play the mini golf course. Already I was not impressed with the horribly kept place, I mean you can tell is 40 years old as well as the webs around the place. At some point during our play there was an announcement, ONE announcement, that was unclear and muffled. So either the girl doesn't know how to speak clear English or they need a new PA, which I wouldn't be surprised if it's from the 70s (the time the mini gold course opened) we weren't sure what that announcement said; but thought if the music turns off we will know to leave. If not I'm am sure someone will do the rounds and find us to tell us they are closing. I mean we each paid 8.75usd and we were at the 12th hole out of 18, they will let us at least finish. Nothing happened At 1215am, all of a sudden, the lights and music shutdown simultaneously. We were in pitch darkness... We start to walk slowly, I'm screaming from the top of my lungs HELLO?!! Nothing. I walk and trip, hurt my foot. We get to the desk and there is a girl who told us "oh sorry, they told me no one was out there, we made several announcements". What major organization. We were upset at this point walking through the dark mini golf tripping and didn't even get to finish; but I didn't raise my voice. My husband asks if we could either finish or have our money back because no one told us ok it closes at midnight so you guys have to hurry it up. No one said anything, no one did the rounds to even check if someone was out there. And FYI you only did one crappy announcement. The girl goes to talk to the manager, she was there for a while. The manager is obviously prepping her what to say to us. She comes back and tells us "all we can do for you is give you tokens". We live in LA after that experience we were not going to come back. I explained to her that what they did is super dangerous and I hurt my foot when they shut off the lights. It's not about the money it's the principal of the fact. My husband was super nice and asked "let's do this, give me a coke and we are squared", you know like a gesture that they are sorry. You know after hiking in the dark. NOT even a freaking coke... Common!! The girl said that the course takes on average 45 mins to do... 18 holes in 4 people I asked her? She confirmed. Now let's calculate .... 45min /18 course /4 people = 63 seconds per hole per person.... Hmmmm... I smell BS. Horrible just horrible. I mean there was no one playing just us, so they are not booming with customers and yet they treated us like that. I want to give a ZERO to this place. Don't go! Oh and not to mention their fake ponds are this lagoon blue artificial color, loads of signs saying to not touch the water. Why? Is it toxic? Great place for kids especially if they are in the dark like we were and fell in. read more

Played the second course of mini golf and it was great. Laser tag is a small, fenced square outside which is trash, go carts are slow and crappy, bumper boats are good though! Arcade selection was promising but then so many of the games were 4-8 tokens for a play! So ridiculous! The only thing with the money was the mini golf. read more

Golf 'N' Stuff is still the best miniature golf course I've ever enjoyed, and happily in my hometown of Ventura. A nearby visit with a friend offered an opportunity to swing by the place after with the kiddies and hubby. Man, has it ever gotten expensive, over $8 per person. And I totally forgot that the castle course is on the right, so my kiddies were really pissed that they didn't get a chance to play that one. 'Cause I also forgot that you never, NEVER, play the last hole at a miniature golf course if you want to maximize your experience. Although they did have a staff member stationed there at the end, so maybe they've reigned in the whole 2-for-1 practice of my childhood. Anyways, if you have kiddies and they want to play through the castle, pirate ship, and Aladdin's castle, go to the right. Footnote: it is TERRIBLE how crowded the arcade is, and unavoidable since you have to enter through there. It was very difficult to get through the place, they've got the games so packed in. Just seems like a fire hazard to me, and the reason I docked a star. But once you get outside it's great, and the courses are very well-maintained. Not much has changed since my childhood, and that certainly makes me happy. read more

I give this place 100%! Fun place and great service! I'm 17 and this is a really fun place to go with my friends. People don't realize that the arcade machines sometimes malfunction! A few times the tickets didn't come out after a game. However the friendly staff understand and will give you credits due to the malfunction. All the staff there have always been friendly and nice. I remember going there for my 13th birthday and the owner giving me the prize I wanted at the prize desk even though I was 100 tickets off. They do care about their paying customers. The golf course is old, but well taken care of. The cars are also fun to race. Prob the best part of the park alongside the bumper boats. I think I am going to go down there now and apply for a job there. Def a place where I would enjoy working. Thank you for the good experience all these years. I went with my wife and 11 year old son last night. We had a very nice time. We enjoyed the golf course so much we played both of them. The arcade was fun. Unfortunately the games don't offer many tickets for the price of the prizes. You really have to dump a lot of money to win something decent. The race car track looks fun, but we didn't try it this time. Nor did we try the bumper cars which were a little pricey. The owners had a sign that said they try to keep the place clean but can't guarantee the patrons will do the same. That's a reasonable assessment. It was clean and decent while we were there. The staff behind the counter and the older gentleman working as the golf marshall were all very polite. The parking lot is very dark at night. If you are trying to figure out which driveway to turn in you'll probably pass it like we did. There's no lighted sign that says entrance or gives indication where to park. It's the dark driveway just beyond the property. Overall we all had a great evening and will definitely go back in the near future. If I could give it 4.5 stars instead of 4 I would do so. read more

We went to play a round of golf, the course was well maintained and none of them were broken or in bad condition at all. The arcade had a weird smell to it but didn't look dirty. Golf and stuff is great. For 15 dollars you got one round of mini golf and one ride with four arcade tokens. The mini golf was super fun and me and my family really enjoyed it. For the ride we went on the Indy go carts. The Indy go carts can really use some fixing. First the track was messed up and the carts THEM selves are very outdated. I would really recommend Gold and Stuff if you wanna have an AMAZING game of mini golf. Other perks of the park are that the park is kept very clean. The golf course itself is completely clean and no trash one bit. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING IF YOU WANT YOUR FAMILY TO BOND. I really recommend Golf and Stuff for mini golf. read more
