Daniel Kuntz agreed to refund me for the class package before I ever used them. This was a month ago. After several calls and emails, I have yet to receive my refund. The swing evaluation is 15 minutes of looking at your swing and 45 minutes of selling you a lesson package. I wouldn't call it a swing evaluation. It's more of a sales pitch. It's not worth the $150 they charge for it. I should have read the reviews before deciding to try them out. read more

hmmm... I would not recommend GolfTec. My Callaway driver literally blew up while hitting it. I called Callaway and they said, even though it is out of warranty we will sell you the latest technology(paradym) for $350, which usually costs $600. That's great Callaway! You have me for life now. Well I wanted to make sure I was comfortable with the club so I decided on GolfTec for a fitting. ...never done this before so was excited. I got there and was there for about an hour. Every ball(almost 90%) I hit was a slice and maybe 145 to 180 yards. It was nothing like I'd been hitting. I even tried my friends club which was a Callaway and was hitting it well on the course. ...200 to 240 yards. Slicing it as well and only getting average 165 yards. :( The guy said have you taken lessons, and actually yes I have I told him. I did not feel any closer to being comfortable with the new paradym club. ..so I said thanks and went to San Clemente Muni and asked them if they could get me a demo club of the Paradym. It took 3 weeks, but they finally picked it up. Much Appreciated San Clemente Muni!!! I played with it on the course and was hitting it 200 to 240. I was ecstatic. I have ordered the new club thru Paradym. I also had a friend who went to Golftec and they had the same issue. i.e. slicing it. He never slices the ball. He was so deflated after the fitting because it was going to be his birthday gift to himself. I don't know if was the balls we were using or the sensors in the system GolfTech uses, but I will never go back there. read more

Had a family member recommend doing a swing analysis for an hour and was expecting to have some video analysis, some feedback and a few tips to get me excited about signing up for some lessons. What I actually got was a time share presentation after about 8 swings and instead of them helping me work on making MY natural swing better they showed me a bunch of slow motion videos of a tour pro swinging and said they were going to teach me how to swing like that. Then the sales pitch came and all options and the packages that were in the thousands. I have no idea how this company is in business. Complete waste of my time as I've learned more and improved my swing watching Eric Cogorno and Danny Maude on YOUTUBE for free and recording my swing in slo motion on my iPhone. Let the buyer beware. read more

I took 10 lessons from Tom with the goal of breaking 80, improving my handicap and eventually getting fitted for a new set of clubs. The new set has been fantastic and I was very pleased to email Tom yesterday and let him know that I broke 80 for the first time! Since taking lessons with Tom I've dropped my handicap from a 17 to a 10. Can't wait for my next tee time! read more

I will provide an updated review after finishing my lessons with a new coach but unfortunately cannot recommend at that stage given the very little improvement I have experienced over the past year especially given the price point (I have purchased 25 lessons in September 2019 with the hourly rate being about $130/hour after discount...). To provide additional context I am 34, 5'1, 165lbs, athletic and with a club head speed in the high 100, low 110. I practice about 3 times a week. My shot pattern is obvious and has hardly changed since starting the lessons over a year ago (push, push slice with the dispersion of the slice now being slightly better) I have shaved about 5 strokes over the past 12 months (I am ~ 16 hdcp now) but really 3 as 2 of the strokes are based on better putting (which I did not have a lesson for). The improvement is mostly coming from getting taught how to manipulate the club face with the wrists (which is great but very hard to time correctly consistently and slowing down my swing. For the price I would have hoped more insights and a better outcome. My back is also hurting and that has not been fixed while being obvious from the videos given my spine angles. I am also disappointed in the nonchalance/indifference of the coach especially as my frustration has been growing given the lack of improvement over the past few lessons. Communication (including being able to have crucial conversions and not shutting down as the handling the coach change was poorly dealt with) could be improved. On the plus side, the tech and video feedback are really nice. One point of detail: you can only get club data only by adding the GC quad stickers on your club face (and asking for it - I would really have like to see my club data toget a better understanding of my club path). I also got a club fitting for free (wich was appreciated) as I purchased the driver. Hopefully the remaining lessons will help me improving further and hoping that Golftec sees this review to improve further in the next 25 years ;) read more

Great experience at GOLFTEC Mission Viejo. Wonderful (and patient) coach. Bought new driver and 3W, both working out great. They also upgraded their simulator tech recently, offering more data and a variety of target and shot-shape challenges. I highly recommend GOLFTEC Mission Viejo. read more

I took 15 lessons and didnt have must success. The lessons seemed to go by some script and the real reason I was having trouble wasn't discovered. After 6 months of putting my heart and soul into Golftec hands. Hitting ball after ball on the driving range, I decided to try a local Pro. In just one 45 minute lesson he explained and showed me what I needed to do. It has been two weeks since this lesson and my game continues to get better. I started at Golftec in March 2019. I had taken a few lessons back in 2008 but after my golf clubs had been stolen, I never replaced them until 2019 when I decided to get back into the game. So essentially, I was starting over. My swing was atrocious. I am fairly athletic but just did not have the fundamentals down. My shots with EVERY club went extreme left and right but never straight and never consistent. I have been regularly taking 1-on-1 lessons, once a week and then practicing right after the lesson. I wish I could practice more and realize my results would be even better if I practiced more, but my busy schedule doesn't always allow for it. The lessons are extremely helpful. Being able to record my swing and then break it down has really helped me grasp the concepts and improve my swing. Riley has been a huge influence on my improvement. He pays attention to my swing and analyzes little aspects that make a huge improvement to my game. My shots now are more consistent and travel about 50 yards further on average. I have noticed dramatic improvement and continue to see progress. I am still a student at Golftec and Riley has been great at helping me improve. I finally broke 100, which is probably not a huge feat for most, but for me I wasn't able to finish an 18-round game because I kept running out of golf balls. I love this place and I highly recommend Golftec to anyone who wants to learn how to play to professionals who need to fine tune little aspects of their game. The quality of instruction as well as the technology Golftec employs with both the 1-on-1 lessons as well as practice sessions is well worth the cost. Golftec seems to be consistently working on improving their technology at the benefit of their clients. You will not be disappointed with them. read more

The coaches at this golftec are very personable and knowledgeable. Due to their coaching I was able to lower my average score over 20 strokes. I now shoot in the mids 70s most rounds! I highly recommend this golftec location! read more

Started here with Eric a few months ago. Came in with a 11.8 index and said I wanted to fine tune and refine my game. Eric is great and has gotten my index down to 7.6 in six months. Just signed up for another year! Obviously everyone's results will vary, but Eric really takes the time and is great that he hasn't tried to change my swing completely, just refine and better my current game. Love coming here.
