I've never been one for the shiny gadgets or swing-tracking sorcery, and I only replace clubs when they start to look like survivors from a past war. So when I walked into True Spec Golf in Beverly Hills, I carried no expectations--just an open mind and a faint hope of hitting it higher and farther without sacrificing my soul to the gods of carbon fiber. Then came Simon Lee--a quiet craftsman of focus and precision. He didn't sell; he studied. He watched my swing like a codebreaker deciphering chaos, pairing heads and shafts with the calm of a surgeon and the curiosity of a mad scientist. Under the cold glow of TrackMan data, he translated spin rates and launch angles into a language I could understand, free of marketing gospel and tech babble. By the end, I was floored. Two of my old clubs? "Keep them," he said--"they're perfect." That kind of honesty is as rare as a hole-in-one in a hurricane. He even tossed in a few simple, lethal swing tips that changed everything. When my new clubs arrived and I had questions, he invited me back, explained, and fine-tuned--never rushed, never transactional, just a man obsessed with getting it right. Yes, True Spec is an investment--but a worthy one. You don't walk out a different golfer; you walk out the truest version of yourself, armed with tools built perfectly for your own brand of madness. The new gear won't cure my crooked swing or tame my tempo demons, but it's given me a fair fight. Six stars, without hesitation. I'd do it all again tomorrow.

Simon is incredibly knowledgeable and clearly knows exactly what he's doing. He took the time to walk me through the entire process step by step, testing different shafts and heads to find the combination that truly worked best for my swing. What stood out the most was how honest and patient he was. At no point did I feel like he was trying to sell me something or rush the process. Instead, he focused on finding what actually worked. Even though he's the expert, he constantly asked for my feedback--how each club felt, what I was seeing in the numbers, and what I preferred. That made the fitting feel very collaborative and personalized. If you're even thinking about getting fit for clubs, I highly recommend seeing Simon. Whether you know exactly what you're looking for or have no idea where to start, he'll guide you through everything and make sure you walk away with the right setup for your game. Huge thanks to Simon for the time, effort, and care he put into the fitting. I truly appreciate it.

The clubs are all in great condition, priced well with most clubs under $12 to rent, and they are very helpful on preference of clubs for first timers or intermediate players looking to further accommodate their swing. I was getting a bit discouraged; as a left-handed 5 ft. tall female, it has been very difficult finding clubs I feel comfortable and confident with. I doubted that I would ever be able to find a fitting driver. Kevin asked me some questions when I went in, had me try out a few brands and made a few phone calls on my behalf before settling on a customized PXG driver that was not only comfortable and powerful, but also surprisingly cost effective. I was so impressed by the driver's quality and Kevin's amazing service. I will definitely be back for all my golf needs.

It doesn't matter if you're just a beginner swinging the golf club for the very first time, or your a bogie golfer that's trying to get to be single digit handicap golfer. This is the place to learn how to improve your game. For the beginner he will put you through a regiment of drills to increase strength, to/and gain the sensitivity to make shots. His lessons hands down, is the best and fastest way a beginner in golf can get course ready, in many other ways than just learning how to have a consistent swing. For those with more experienced than a beginner will gain form the vast wealth of knowledge that mylovegolf are able to provide. They can teach course management, and all the other aspects of the game required for a person to shoot the lowest score possible every time a person will out to play. What separates MyLoveGolf from all the other schools and instructors? Unlike most golf instructors, where they give lessons at a driving range facility for short time periods at a time. Often giving the same lesson to a beginner, a bogie golfer, and ridiculously, to a single digit handicap golfer at times. That to me says they really don't care whether or not the lessons they give will improve a persons golf game. MyLoveGolf genuinely cares about trying to improve a persons golf game, but more important the overall golf experience and to make sure that the correct knowledge about the game, so that as person continuous to play golf. while have the information tools that they provide to do so. They do this through a 2 step process. Step #1 is like basic training in the military, where you're taught various swing technics through a variety drills to gain arm strength so the student will be able gain more sensitivity for shots that require a lot of finesse. Once a person gets through step #1, Step #2 is where the real beginning starts. When he teaches his students on the course, while playing a round of golf as he takes to time truly examine the students swing, often spending many hours w/ the student, often providing custom for some students and maybe not for other students. Like, I said, not enough words, so I'll end here by say- If you're not learning how to play golf from MyLoveGolf. Then you're going to run the risk of never feeling the love a round of golf can give for the individual.
