Had a great time at Western screen golf. I came here a couple times to play a 18-hole game with friends. I didn't have issues making a reservation over the phone on the day of. They also accommodate lefty golfers, which is nice :) There's also water and drinks if you get thirsty. It's air-conditioned and perfect on a hot day. Parking: metered street parking. I've always found a spot on a weekend. $30 per person Cash only or Venmo!

3 open facing bays as well as 2-3 private enclosed bays

It's been raining so much Socal lately that indoor recreation is becoming a thing in our sunshine state. My friend and I stumbled upon this indoor golf facility. It was both of our first times playing a virtual golf simulator and to our surprise, it was awesome! We are both about 2 years into starting golf, so the feedback analysis on the machine was very insightful. There's 2 cameras that record your swing from multiple angles and it gives you all sorts of different stats telling you where you struck the ball, angle, distance, trajectory, spin, and a bunch of other info I didn't understand. While we were there, customers ranged from single golfer serious types, to couples on a date who needed to rent clubs ($10). Skill level of all sorts. 2 of us paid $70 total to play a round of 18 holes on a simulated course. Took us 2 hours to complete. Def worth coming back on a rainy day. Some of the other indoor places round are more for range practice or instruction, but this place was what we were looking for. The gentlemen at the front was also very friendly to give us actual swing tips as well us instructions on how to use the machines.

If you want to practice and don't want to spend money just to practice at the pricey golf range, this is the perfect place for you!! Also, it's really a good place to hang out and screen golf with your friends!! Staff here are super nice as well! It's my second time coming and definitely will come back again! Super recommended!!

Plenty of screens like this for you to play!

Such a nice spot in the middle of LA! It was my first time trying golf, so my friend and I booked the practice range for $20/hr. Many people there were experienced golfers and brought their own clubs. We didn't have clubs so we were able to rent some for $10. I have no knowledge of golf whatsoever, so, Ken, gave us some great tips that improved my performance dramatically. Ken is also an amazing golfer! We'll definitely be back again.

They also have a private room for private parties

Great private place to let out some steam and improve your game. Walk-ins seem are welcomed for the practice rounds.

In the online shopping age, you place faith in things you cannot see. You establish trust based on…read morethe things you order being delivered timely and whole. It works for all kinds of things; off the rack clothes, protein powder, US Government debt, drawings of apes (remember those?), you name it, you can buy it. Let me tell you one very important purchase where there is no room for online shopping faith: golf clubs. Listen, I'm your typical high handicapper. I'm talking... very high. Like Whitney Houston high. So when I'm shopping for irons and a golf club manufacturer talks about AI Smoke or dual tungsten weighting, I'm going to be honest with you. I don't know -- nor do I care -- what the f-- they're talking about. All I know is, if it feels good, like I could swing it 150 times over the course of 36 holes and yes, you read that number and did your math correctly, then yes. Those are the clubs I need. Now I'm a fairly big dude, and unfortunately this makes my need to get fitted for proper clubs even more serious. Us big fellas will take a standard length club and perform Olympic level swing-nastics to protect our back. We will most likely fail and have our back screaming at us while we see our score reach Palm Desert afternoon temperature levels. So, for me, the most important thing when it comes to picking a set of irons is comfort and feel. If I'm going to be swinging this a lot, at least make sure it feels good doing it. Omer knew this right away. He's dealt with tall people, I'm sure he's dealt with smaller people and everything in between. And he was quick, deliberate and no BS in his recommendations. He saw my swing and then picked out a few great clubs. He explained taller folks with long wrist-to-floors need clubs that extend well before they leave the factory and in the mfg process -- not just aftermarket extensions. I appreciated that bit of advice and his clear explanations in the lengthening process and how it differed from manufacturer to manufacturer. He didn't speak AI Smoke-up-my-ass-anese. He gave me practical bits like "this might create a weak point in the club and break your shaft on a bad swing." He explained it realistically looking out for me, the high-handicapper. And here's the thing -- did I have to pay $150 and schedule an appointment with Omer to know this? No I did not. You know exactly what I'm talking about guys. Of all the things I knew I wasn't doing, I wasn't about to pay $150 and schedule an appointment to be pitched to and upsold. Here I am at Roger Dunn completely for free. Omer dropping truth bombs on what I need and keeping it simple. No passing judgment, no snobby upsell tactics, just straight knowledge and work. I appreciated him a lot. Also shoutout to Lawrence in shoes, who let me try on a few pairs and was super helpful helping me find the shoes I'd want. Finally, thanks David at the front. The morning crew today took me in and were super helpful. The team here is great and have an approach that's welcoming even for a total golf schmuck like me. I'm glad this is my local Roger Dunn, and my neighbors you should be, too.

I went to purchase a new set of irons and was surprised that they didn't have them in stock. The sales associate said he would call around to find them. He said he found a set and when I went to pick them up five days later they were used! The manager offered no apology and said he could take ten percent off of the price. He also said that I couldn't even order a new set. While still at the counter I found and purchased the set from an online store. They should be delivered to my house in two days.

The clubs are all in great condition, priced well with most clubs under $12 to rent, and they are very helpful on preference of clubs for first timers or intermediate players looking to further accommodate their swing. I was getting a bit discouraged; as a left-handed 5 ft. tall female, it has been very difficult finding clubs I feel comfortable and confident with. I doubted that I would ever be able to find a fitting driver. Kevin asked me some questions when I went in, had me try out a few brands and made a few phone calls on my behalf before settling on a customized PXG driver that was not only comfortable and powerful, but also surprisingly cost effective. I was so impressed by the driver's quality and Kevin's amazing service. I will definitely be back for all my golf needs.
