Was looking to learn how to golf, I'm a complete beginner. Looked online and found this place. They only had 8 lessons for $600 posted online. I'm here for wine week for vacation so I called to inquire if they could do one lesson. My mom decided to join as well. It was $50 per person for one lesson for an hour. We went during a weekday at 11am, we had the whole place to ourselves and Ken was a great instructor. He was very knowledgeable and helped us with our form, swing and technical skills, he kept it so fun and engaging for us complete beginners. My mom already wants to return and keep playing since she had so much fun, I also plan to continue practicing once I'm back in NY. Ken was very generous with his time as well, the lesson went closer to two hours, he included 3 little breaks as well as beverages from the fridge. Golf was a lot more physical than I expected and even though we were indoors, we were working hard. Will be back next time in in town to keep learning and try some of the 45 virtual golf courses they have. Super fun time whether a beginner or a pro. read more

Had a great time at Western screen golf. I came here a couple times to play a 18-hole game with friends. I didn't have issues making a reservation over the phone on the day of. They also accommodate lefty golfers, which is nice :) There's also water and drinks if you get thirsty. It's air-conditioned and perfect on a hot day. Parking: metered street parking. Really shady business. I paid $600 for 10 lessons and told the owner that I could only do one a month. He said that's fine and I have a year to take all of them. First three lessons, I told him my short game needed a lot of improvement, but he insisted on trying to change my driver swing that was already my strength and he forced me to spend most of my time on that. My handicap got worse after his lessons so I started going to another teacher who brought my handicap down 7 strokes. I finally came back here today and asked if i could use my leftover lessons for just practice time (which doesnt cost him extra money). He refused and said it had been over a year and the lessons expire after a year. He said he would give me 2 hours of practice ($60 value) as a courtesy. I did an hour and asked for my card but he refused to give it to me. I thought it was suspicious and checked my bank statements to see when I paid him. 9/23/24, so it hadn't been a year. I called and he started changing the policy and said it's 6 months. Not one year. Super shady. Makes you wonder how much he lies about his golf skill. I paid $600 for 3 lessons that made my swing worse, and 2 hours of practice. As others have said, he makes up his own hours and compulsively lies about it. The place is more often closed than open. The launch monitors are not very accurate (maybe not calibrated or just a really cheap system). Wouldn't recommend this place if you are serious about golf. It's been raining so much Socal lately that indoor recreation is becoming a thing in our sunshine state. My friend and I stumbled upon this indoor golf facility. It was both of our first times playing a virtual golf simulator and to our surprise, it was awesome! We are both about 2 years into starting golf, so the feedback analysis on the machine was very insightful. There's 2 cameras that record your swing from multiple angles and it gives you all sorts of different stats telling you where you struck the ball, angle, distance, trajectory, spin, and a bunch of other info I didn't understand. While we were there, customers ranged from single golfer serious types, to couples on a date who needed to rent clubs ($10). Skill level of all sorts. 2 of us paid $70 total to play a round of 18 holes on a simulated course. Took us 2 hours to complete. Def worth coming back on a rainy day. Some of the other indoor places round are more for range practice or instruction, but this place was what we were looking for. The gentlemen at the front was also very friendly to give us actual swing tips as well us instructions on how to use the machines. read more

The owner of this place runs such a horrible business. I arrived at 7:30pm and he wouldn't let me hit any balls because he wanted to go home early. He made up some lie about how the last time to start playing is 7pm. But they close at 10pm? Made no sense. You're better off going to The City Golf. It's 1 mile down the road and it's a much nicer facility. Super disappointing. read more

Such a nice spot in the middle of LA! It was my first time trying golf, so my friend and I booked the practice range for $20/hr. Many people there were experienced golfers and brought their own clubs. We didn't have clubs so we were able to rent some for $10. I have no knowledge of golf whatsoever, so, Ken, gave us some great tips that improved my performance dramatically. Ken is also an amazing golfer! We'll definitely be back again. read more

Amazing facility with swing recording function and even allows putting! The distance were accurate compared to my on course distance. The owner is friendly and even help beginners with some advice. This place is so great! My fiancé and I were looking for something fun to do on a rainy Monday we both had off work. It's so clean and the staff is so friendly. It was pouring rain; the owner came outside with an umbrella to help us get ourselves and our clubs in nice and dry. I'm still learning and so it was a great place for both myself to practice and for my fiancé (who is more experienced) to play together. We opted for our own private room and got to practice a little, then played 18 holes. He gave us unlimited mulligans so I could redo shots as needed too. All in all great place and would 1000% recommend for all golfers to come and have fun/practice, no matter what level skill you are! read more

I called to make an appointment here for an 8pm tee time. Drove 40 minutes in the rain, arrived & the guy at the front desk said, "sorry, the guys in front of you decided to stay longer so i'm sorry". He decided to not honor my reservation because he was making more money from the guys before me. How is that ok??? Mind you i'm a left handed golfer, so it's mandatory to call ahead to reserve a bay. The guy at the desk didn't try to go talk to the guys to tell them i had it reserved, nor did he honor my reservation. He tried giving me $10 cash for my "troubles". Please understand it's not about the money. I'm not here to blame anything on race, but as a black golfer, there are always shady and uncomfortable things happening when trying to golf in Koreatown. I wasn't going to raise my voice or make a scene, because that's what's expected. If you own a business, you must accommodate all people. Won't be back here. My friends and I played in their private room. They had an automatic tee which was awesome and playing in a private room felt like I was lounging in my own living room with my friends. This place is pretty specious and clean. Price also is great compares to other screen golf. Staffs are nice and friendly. Me and my daughter get lessons here and we improved a lot. My daughter used to hate getting lessons at other place but she likes to go now. She said that she feels like she is improving because she get to learn to hit all the irons and the teaching pro also explains well how she should hit instead of just watching her play. First time at a screen golf facility and boy was it entertaining! $35 per person for a round of 18 holes on a simulator. That's a steal!!
