He breaks down the golf swing so well, and he helped me to learn how to properly set up, grip, and swing the clubs. I've never hit over 160 with my 8 iron. It usually flies low and goes about 120~140, but after the lesson, I went to my regular practice range, and I realize I'm able to hit 160 with 8 iron, 170 with 7 and 180 with 6 iron straight and they all fly high. What stood out the most though was the incredibly helpful and friendly staff. I want to give a particularly big thank you to the director of food and beverage, Keith Sansone. He helped me with something that was incredibly gracious and kind of him, he went above and beyond what you'd expect from most golf resorts. There are many many properties out in the Palm Springs Palm Desert area. I've played at almost all of them. Desert Willow hands-down has the best team of people working and supporting their operations. And as anybody could probably tell you, kind, friendly, and attentive staff make all of the difference in having a mediocre experience or having an absolutely fantastic experience. Whoever the course Marshall on duty for Friday 6/5 midday - this one star review is for YOU…read more Utterly rude, disrespectful and unprofessional to our group. We were celebrating our families' high school graduates with one foursome and one twosome teeing off at 11:40 on a 105 degree off season Friday. The Marshall approaches us and says he has to split us up because it "Looks bad on his GPS and he can tell we're not that good and we're going to slow the group down behind us." Only valid point he had is we should have played our twosome and foursome separately I guess. But we caught up to the group ahead of us so we weren't holding anyone up. Oh, and the high school grads were on the school golf team and made it to CIF Playoffs so I'm confused on who he thought wasn't that good? With a golf course on every corner in the desert, we won't be bringing our business back to this one.

Everyone was really nice and it seemed like a beautiful resort with so many things to do. I've definitely never been to a place where it had a giant pool and hotel connected to it before but cool idea. Huge parking lots, golf carts were nice and lots of employees everywhere. We thought we could escape the heat because we played at 6am but it was still scorching out hah.

I feel Jack helped me a great deal and has made the game fun again. I now know what to work on to improve and generally have a reasonable idea of what I am doing wrong. Jack has a very nice approach and offers suggestions but does not try to completely change everything about your game right away. He works on every portion of the game from the driver to putter. The lessons were just what I needed. Jack's experience sets him above the rest and allows him to help any golfer regardless of level of play. I would recommend Jack to any golfer who would like to improve their game. I am looking forward to a refresher lesson as I continue to work on my golf.

If you want to play with better clubs that are suited to your game, see Brad. Anyway I bought a driver and set of irons 4-SW. Brad recommended 4 wedges for my game and they have been working out great. I went back this week to add a hydride and 3 wood. I love the feel of the KZG clubs. I was hitting each one a bit further then my own. My wife was with me watching the process. She is a golfer too. Brad suggested she hit a few balls with her clubs. She then hit some KZG 3 woods and hydrids. Brad gave her some valuable instruction on her swing. Here is the point of this review. At no time did Brad pressure her to buy clubs. In fact he suggested she use her current 3 wood more often and then in the future if she wanted to be fitted come back to see him. All that at no charge. Brad took at least 30 minutes out of his day for her. All I can say is Brad is a hell of a guy, an excellent player and will fit you for clubs you need. Thanks Brad!
