It usually flies low and goes about 120~140, but after the lesson, I went to my regular practice range, and I realize I'm able to hit 160 with 8 iron, 170 with 7 and 180 with 6 iron straight and they all fly high. What stood out the most though was the incredibly helpful and friendly staff. I want to give a particularly big thank you to the director of food and beverage, Keith Sansone. He helped me with something that was incredibly gracious and kind of him, he went above and beyond what you'd expect from most golf resorts. There are many many properties out in the Palm Springs Palm Desert area. I've played at almost all of them. Desert Willow hands-down has the best team of people working and supporting their operations. And as anybody could probably tell you, kind, friendly, and attentive staff make all of the difference in having a mediocre experience or having an absolutely fantastic experience. Very odd in a sense which didn't feel right. Then we found this place driving by. It's a massive store. Plenty of parking out front. Front the outside it just looks like your usual store but once inside, it's like a mega golf store. Theres literally everything and anything you needed. Right at the front was where the replacement section was. The gentleman's working were very sweet in explaining everything and helping us out with picking what we need. One was doing all the replacements while the other one was helping us out. From there, it just takes a couple minutes. It was fine which gave us time to walk around and check the store out. We literally only did half of the store as it was massive. There's sections along the sides where you can practice your swings electronically. A putting green right in the middle to practice. Besides all the clubs and accessories, half of the store had a big apparel department with loads to choose from. There was so many clubs to choose from as well as whatever you may or may not need. If you're a golfer, this is like Willy Wonka factory but golf. Worth checking out.

After spending thousands of dollars at PGA Superstore over the years and consistently having…read morepositive experiences, I was shocked by the way I was treated during my visit today. I was testing out a putter on the practice green and simply moving golf balls out of the holes and toward the side of the putting surface when an employee abruptly approached me in a rude and demeaning manner, accusing me of "kicking his balls," which was completely untrue. The way he spoke to me was unnecessary, insulting, condescending, and unprofessional from the very beginning. When I asked for his name, he replied "Jim, the assistant manager" with a cocky attitude before walking away. About 10 minutes later, after apparently getting off his shift and changing clothes, Jim approached me again and sarcastically asked if I needed help with the putter. Considering the disrespectful way he had already spoken to me, I found it strange and antagonistic that he came back over at all. I told him I didn't understand why he was even speaking to me after treating me the way he did. The entire interaction left me feeling disrespected and uncomfortable, especially coming from someone in a management position. I will be contacting corporate because customers should never be treated in such a hostile and condescending manner.

The landscaping leaves little to be desired and the targets are difficult to see and small. But, it has a certain charm about it that gives the user a sense or reprieve and relaxation. The prices are reasonable and there is usually no wait. The hours are good too. Especially if you are an early bird.

I feel Jack helped me a great deal and has made the game fun again. I now know what to work on to improve and generally have a reasonable idea of what I am doing wrong. Jack has a very nice approach and offers suggestions but does not try to completely change everything about your game right away. He works on every portion of the game from the driver to putter. The lessons were just what I needed. Jack's experience sets him above the rest and allows him to help any golfer regardless of level of play. I would recommend Jack to any golfer who would like to improve their game. I am looking forward to a refresher lesson as I continue to work on my golf.

Typical nickaulus designed course. Very fair and can be challenging at times if you hit it to the…read morewrong spot. Not as nice as the stadium course but definitely better than the Norman course. The roughs here are extremely difficult. As in good luck finding your ball it could literally be submerged in the roughs. There's two great holes here with island greens, That is already hard without wind and very tough when there is. Theres Many holes with water in play which will really make you put your course management to work. Overall it's worth playing. Pace even on a busy day is very good. Lots of restrooms throughout the course. And they even have a new gps systems. Each cart has its own water jug. There is a cart girl that goes around. The Marshall also comes around.
