I put in a quote request on Wednesday, March 18th... and started freaking out into the weekend, concerned that I won't get a driver confirmed in-time for my move on March 24th. I messaged Brittany constantly for updates, testing her patience (I'm so sorry, Brittany! And thank you for your patience!) Brittany -- sure enough -- got me a confirmed driver on the morning of Monday, March 23rd with pick up later that evening. My car arrived to my new home state later that night in the same condition it left Virginia. Ultimately, what I also really appreciated was Brittany's confidence and expertise, which assuaged my concerns. When I messaged her for updates on Sunday the 22d, she rightly reminded me that most offices are closed on the weekends. Most reassuring, she wrote, "I'm not just gonna book with anyone. I will get the vehicle picked up Monday - Tuesday as that is your pick up window." I respect her straight-forwardness and letting me know she's got the wheels (pun-intended). Brenden at Goliath Auto Transport was a lifesaver during my last minute scramble to find transport after dealing with a terrible broker. Brenden's communication was excellent (even outside of regular business hours), he was transparent, and he was honest. No slick sales talk, no over promising and under delivering. He worked fast, found me a great carrier, and came in under what I was expecting to spend. You can't ask for more than that. Brenden also did a great job vetting the carrier that ultimately transported for me, and got me a copy of their insurance card before they ever touched my car. This is the only time I've ever had a broker do this before me having to ask. For reference, I have worked as a broker in the past and understand the industry pretty well. It's simple, and what matters is honesty. Most brokers are excellent salespeople and talk a good game about relationships, connections, budget, etc. I like to think I know when a broker is talking crap, but even I got suckered by one this last go around. Most of those sites you find through search engines are just lead generators, and you will be hounded for weeks, if not months, once they get your contact info. I can't speak highly enough of my experience working with Natalie to coordinate our last-minute, cross-country car shipment. I called a number of companies to learn more about the process and get quotes. Excellent, Excellent, EXCELLENT! Moving across country for a Job. My day to leave and Shipping day was here for both my cars and of course the carrier had truck issues (nothing to do with Goliath) and tried to say they would pick up 2 days later but that wouldn't work. In my panic I contacted my broker at Goliath, no response and this is when I started to panic more. I called the next number I could find on their website and received SWIFT action on top of what that dispatcher was already dealing with. OUTSTANDING job! A new carrier was contacted, I had the same original rate for a same day pickup, which I assume Goliath took the hit for me on that, and my cars were up and loaded within an hour of everything falling apart. I trust them to do a great job and keep my vehicles safe with a fair price everytime. This is a great transport company. I found myself needing to transport my suv from my son in Alaska to me in AZ and is was snowing there. When I got on line to research transport companies I was so confused and the quotes that came in were all over the place. So, who could I trust? I remembered I had a truck transported from TX to CA a few years ago and since it went well I looked up who I used and it was Goliath Transport. They were the middle of the road on price and I did pay some up front fees but it was worth knowing it was legit. The reps I talked to were great too.
