I ordered door dash so I can't comment on ambiance. I had the beef taco & the bean and cheese burrito and both were good. The beef was well seasoned and they used two shells so it didn't get soggy. The salsa tasted homemade and was mild (I like a little more spicy) but it was tasty. My husband got the super smothered sausage, egg and potato burrito and it certainly lived up to the name. I took a picture before he ate it all. He got medium green chili, he said he could go up to hot next time. Prices were really good. I think my meal was less than $7. Overall really good. read more

This is a DenMex stalwart carryout experience. I have driven by here countless times with no interest and finally decided to give it a shot randomly. Trying new breakfast burrito places is a hobby of mine so even if what I find isn't good, I am glad that I tried it. There are more breakfast burritos around town that I haven't tried than I have tried despite all of my efforts over an extended period of time. This wonderful past time could go on and on. First off, we were greeted by very friendly and welcoming counter service. We opted for a potato, egg, cheese with mild chile and a steak, potato, egg, cheese with medium chile. The mild is definitely mild but it has flavor so it is pleasant. Medium has some heat but if you want some real heat, hot would be the way to go. Most of the folks coming and going were ordering the hot. The tortillas are griddled. Unfortunately, ours were griddled for a little too long so tasted a smidge burnt but without any textural contrast. Mistakes happen. I am willing to bet that this isn't the norm and this wouldn't prevent us from a return visit. The burritos were stuffed generously and in balance. We'd be sure to stop in again to support this family when the mood strikes. The burritos were very reasonably priced. The girl upfront explained she just charged me twice for one of the burritos. I explained I didn't want it and I have a food allergy, I'll just take a refund on that 1 burrito. Conveniently located in a shopping plaza next to starbucks, this place was around the corner from where we stayed when we came to visit and it was not a mistake coming here. It was quite busy in the morning. Saw lots it people coming in to order to go. We we're probably the only ones that stayed to eat breakfast. Food portions are great for the price.
