Went here looking for some nursery pots and a avocado tree...I wanted to try to support a local…read morenursery instead of a big corporation...I walked in and the employees just looked at me like "wtf yo black ahh doing in here"....i didn't get a "hello" "welcome" "can i help u"....nothing but weird looks...other customers walked in and get help immediately...another family walk in lookin at Xmas trees and helped immediately....after about 10 minutes of walking around with no customer service I left....i don't spend my money where Im not wanted....the only difference between me and the other customers were they were Hispanic and I was not!...I'm not going to FORCE any business who doesn't like my black skin to take my green money! I went right to Home Depot and got help AS SOON AS I WALKED INTO THE GARDENING SECTION!

Thanks to FB marketplace I was brought here when I came across an ad posted for a Agave Nickelsiae…read morein a 5 gallon size. If you're into agave, you would know this is a harder to find species. You won't find it at big box nurseries! & if they do have it, be prepared to pay $$$. I arrived & had to call so someone could open the gate. Kinda weird, but hey I didn't have to wait too long so that was fine. I told the lady what I was there for & OMG the nursery is massive ! She said the nursery is almost 3 acres. So there's a lot to see !! She showed the me the agaves & I ended up taking home a larger size (15 gal) than the advertised 5 gallon. The price ($55) was awesome for the size ! All the plants looked healthy so that was a plus. I also purchased the largest string of pearls I have ever seen EVER at a nursery. I already have this plant at home but wow I couldn't help myself !! It was also the variegated variety too. For the size, the price of $85 was very fitting. My only complaint is I wish they didn't charge tax if you're paying with Zelle. Like come on, the money is going straight to your bank account. Also from my experience with taking home larger plants, at other nurseries they wrap the pot so the plant doesn't make a mess in the car. So it would have been nice if that would have been done here. Also there was no one to help load the large pot in my car. So please take this as considerations for future patrons. All in all I would recommend this place !

I worked with them to get several dozen succulents for a baby shower and it was really easy to plan ahead of time. They've always been friendly. They have a good variety of succulents. I'd say not as much of a variety of indoor plants but what they do have is well priced.

Going on their website is helpful because you can see what is in stock, but I had no idea how vast this place was. I'd only been looking at CA native plants, so from my parking spot to the pick-up desk I maybe only covered 1/15th of the area, if that. I've been looking for a local nursery with a wide selection of California natives, & have been lurking Ricardo's Nursery's online selection for a month. Finally purchased a 1-gallon Cleveland sage (Salvia clevelandii 'Winnifred Gilman') for $12 & a 1-gallon Yankee Point Carmel Creeper (Ceanothus griseus var. horizontalis 'Yankee Point') for $10. They had different variations of each plant reserved for me for me to choose from which was so endearing because I am secretly picky. Spoke with Jose who was super cool. There's also a very chill dog :) I was surprised by how vast the selection was in-person. The white sage (salvia apiana) in stock is just gorgeous. There are soooo many others I want to purchase, so thank goodness for my wallet that my project is fairly limited. (For now!) I would've wandered around photographing every single plant if it wasn't a million degrees outside & I didn't have to be somewhere. In just the 3 minutes it took me to walk to the pick-up stand, many plants caught my eye & I was reading the labels to figure out who they were. Really loved this one plant I saw--Silver Falls dichondra (Dichondra argentea 'Silver Falls'). We came with non-specific plants in mind, and he helped us narrow down what would fit our plans, even right down to which specific plant would be best out of the bunch. It is highly recommended to talk about what you need before walking, as the walk can be quite long! Especially if you go back and forth. They do not accept card, which I find is normal for nurseries. They accept cash / zelle only. Overall, I believe they are a solid option for those unknowledgeable about plants. All my questions and concerns were thoughtfully considered.

Both plants are thriving and already producing so much fruit. It's honestly been so rewarding to watch them grow and flourish. You can really tell the quality and care that goes into their plants.
