Harris Teeter has better pizza... I added black olives to my pizza it was an extra $2 & hardly anything added.

Best pizza in Leland but i recommend staying away from the single slices in the display. They popped 2 slices to go in the oven. I tried to eat them on the way home but ended up being very dry and not edible. I returned the 2 slices for a full refund towards a freshly baked pie. Great customer service!!! read more

This place is the real deal. Its one of those "people who know...know". Originally from Boston and spent time in NYC too so I am a bit snobby when it comes to pizza. This is now my go to place. Had slices while watching them work. These people know what they are doing. Amazingly good now and will only get better as the new ovens season. I get my nails done next door to this restaurant and they are always busy! Finally got a chance to try it and LET ME TELL you not only was the pizza amazing, the service was as well! We ordered our pizza four hours in advance for a pick up at a certain time. When we arrived the pizza was ready it was hot and the place was very busy. I liked the pizza my wife did not. She felt that it needed more flavor may be missing some spices. I on the other hand, thought that the pizza was good. Was it great? No, but then I haven't found any in the region that are great. This one was one of the better ones that I've tasted. Since pizza is such an issue of individual taste, give it a shot and make your own judgment. read more

I give the pizza a 4 star. The slow service is ridiculous. Perhaps the owner should help the staff out, rather than bark at customers and sit in his chair. Due to his arrogance and obnoxious attitude Gondolfo's Pizza receives a 1 Star. I witnessed a dispute between him and a customer over an order. The customer was totally correct, but the owner refused to admit he was wrong. On the way out the customer remarked that he wouldn't be back. The owner quickly responded that he was glad and " don't come back". Being a native New Yorker, I was embarrassed by the owners demeanor. We don't welcome that type of a NY ATTITUDE in this town. We ordered. Margarita pizza at the newish Gondolfos Pizza in Leland, NC. The crust was very soggy when we opened the box, but the top was delicious. The mozzarella was excellent and the sauce was not bitter or acidic. Next time we might eat our pizza in the restaurant to avoid the sogginess. read more

Everything I've gotten is absolutely BANGIN. It's pricey but the quality is there. Folks are always friendly.

Excellent Pizza very fresh ingredients. I love the supreme with all the toppings. Well worth the trip to Gondolfos.

A good pizza at a reasonable cost. Dough was tasty and sauce was sweet. Cheese was toppings were plentiful. We will go back. Only challenge was getting through to place an order. I went in to order as I couldn't get through on the phone. Also closes early on Sunday I believe which seems strange during football season. read more

Here is what happened today. I was in Wilmington on my way to home (Leland) called for pizza ordered mushroom &olives pizza lady on the phone ( Angela g as on the ticket) said 25 min. It was ok we arrived like 30 min pizza wasn't ready understanding it's Saturday evening. Waited waited and finally chef handed over my pizza and told me olive and mushrooms sir have a good evening not even asked any Parmesan or anything which was fine. Came home and checked pizza it was pepperoni & mushroom we called back and they wanted to that pizza back and lady on the phone said they are making new one ( which we don't eat pork anyways ) came back ( gps showed 6 miles 8 min ) pizza wasn't ready not even started . Cashier lady was keep confusing between chefs anyways they finally sent to the oven . Pizza cooked 8-10 min in Well warmed Owen which theirs are I'm sure been on since morning . After 15 min cashier lady asked to kitchen about My pizza they said 5 more min. Which I was watching guy supposed to turn and check the Owen he just moved my pizza other side. I sat back and another 5 min waiting I walked to front I've seen my pizza was burned and they were discussing what they needed to do not even telling me yet ! I asked chef he said they needed to again !!! I said I'm good I don't needed. By the time other bearded guy was trying to explain dough was something something . I said dude you just didn't checked and turned on time !!! That's it !! He started to cursing to the kitchen absolutely to me too by the time I was telling cashier cancel my order and refund she was with mean face did it and tried to argue with me. I got my ticket and left while I was leaving other chef was still cursing in the kitchen. So here is the story and I wanted to see if this was right or wrong by the who ever will check as owner of that business . I managed 4 years pizza restaurant in New Orleans I can make pizza dough while my eyes closed I'm so proud of myself as culinary graduate Turkish chef worked in Turkey and here in usa long years . At the end This wasn't right customer service and wasn't right management for this situation! Instead of cursing to customer I would send that customer happy to his home not with voided ticket and lost almost 1 hour of his dinner time. Hopefully this comment finds to the owner and makes some changes on positive ways. Will I try again !!! Absolutely no I won't even drive by that area anymore !!! read more

Went in last week to order a slice of pizza. 15 minute wait. No pies available. Pizza came out burnt on bottom and too greasy. Thought I'd give it another try this week and called to order two hero's. They had no bread left. I understand this is a new pizzeria. Hopefully they will get the kinks out. As a New Yorker I'm picky on my pizza. So far Pizzetta's is the best, though pricey. read more

First visit to this newer establishment. Ordered a Meatball Parm Hero (aka Meatball Sub), my "go to". There's no question that this was the best I've ever had...and I've had plenty in my 60+ years. It was hot and ready for pickup at the time promised. Will return for pizza soon. read more
