Came here my first day in Wilmington and had a pleasant experience. The margherita pizza was delicious and a medium size was more than enough for 2 people. Price was reasonable and the guy working the cash register was so kind and speedy with our order. I will definitely be back next time I'm in town! read more

This is our second time visiting Dough House Pizza Co in the last year, wish we had one closer to us but alas it's a treat for us while in town! I absolutely love their pizza, the sauce is so flavorful and the dough is the perfect amount. Their shop is small but cute, always clean. They offer free water, welcoming, and always great service. Their pizza has us hooked, which is why it's always our go to spot when in town now. read more

We found the Dough House on the One Bite app and figured it was one of the higher rated pizza places in the area. So we drive our 30 minutes, pay for parking just to find out they were closed. Everywhere you look says this place is open. That's unacceptable for a business. read more

This place is incredible! If you are in Wilmington you must go here! The focaccia sandwiches reminded me of the ones we had in Italy and the pizza was honestly one of the best I've ever had! Note the pictures are of only half the sandwich and one slice of the pizza, my wife and I got the 10" pizza and one sandwich to split and left well satiated. Doghouse was a solid late night choice after a night out, as they are open past 12 on most given nights which is little known to most people in town (perfect alternative to avoid busy lines at NYC Pizza). With that being said, for 18 bucks, I really enjoyed this pie, as the cheese was melted and the cherry pepperonis were crispy. I think they could do a lot more with the crust which would've made the pie a lot more outstanding. This is the perfect spot for late night food, but there are definitely better spots in town for the earlier crowd! read more

We didn't try the pizza but this review is for the desserts. My daughter and I had a disappointing dinner in town . We didn't want to try dessert at the restaurant so we walked down the block and stumbled into Dough House to try some Tiramisu and Gelato. Wow One of the best Tiramisu I've EVER had! I've been to Italy, from NY , eat at great Italian restaurants, but this was ridiculous! The gelato was rich and creamy and also dome of the best I've had! Have to try the pizza next time read more

Did late take out on a Sunday night. Menu is not your usual fare for an open late pizza place and the owner/chef has some pretty cool credentials. The Hot Honey White had an amazing crust (crunch and undercarriage) with outstanding flavors and creaminess along with a 'touch' of heat - not exactly 'hot'. And the Italian Sammie? They said it was the best they made all weekend ... I will say it may have been the best Italian Sammie ever. Very nice staff. Small inside with outside tables as well. We shared the small cheese pizza which was made to order. The cheesy was ooey and gooey and the crust was perfectly crisp on the bottom and the sides. They also had heat and eat garlic knots, all beef hot dogs in bread, & pepperoni and cheese stuffed dough. Food was great! The cannolis were excellent.... The hours seem to be incorrect as I was craving more cannolis but they were closed on Sunday, we leave in a couple days, so I'm hoping we can pop over again before we go. Service was good, location is great and had a cute vibe inside. read more

Checked out this new downtown restaurant. They don't have a phone number or a working website at the moment so ordered to-go in person. They have some small open outdoor tables and indoor tables. High chairs are available. Ordered a regular size classic tomato pie ($15), Caprese sandwich ($13), and tiramisu ($6). Everything was amazing! The regular size (of pizza) is 10" x 10" and the largest size is 16" x 16". Pizza was a thin crust with a thick outer crust, impressively crispy and held its own. The dough itself was perfectly soft and flavorful. The slightly tart tomato sauce was spread thinly and the Parmesan Reggiano and fresh basil were spread evenly on top of the pizza. The caprese sandwich can be served either cold or hot, pressed in a Panini press. I requested cold. It was served with fresh, thick focaccia bread, sliced fresh tomato slices, sliced mozzarella cheese, fresh basil, pesto, and a balsamic drizzle. I loved the focaccia bread. The house made tiramisu was also very good, but it was a small portion. Other dessert options were gelato from Southport (can make into Affogato with espresso) and cannoli. Dang this place was good! Just wanted to find a spot close with pizza (honestly was just wanting something decent) and this place was next level! The pizza was incredible, unique design, ingredients, and toppings combining for a delicious dish! Got a Mediterranean salad also and was blown away by how much and how good that was (maybe even better than the pizza). Very impressed with this place. Vibes were chill, service was good (although the guy wasn't the most friendly), but the food was awesome! read more

We were on vacation and surprisingly, this restaurant was the only place open after 9. I'm so glad we gave it a try! The guy welcomed us in and started giving a break down of the menu. Where to start .... I walk in and was greeted by the one and only Nick Chavez he is friendly humble and appreciative. I already love the place I ordered a hot honey pizza and it probably took about 10-12 min. I sat in the restaurant area until I was called the atmosphere is casual and cozy and very clean I took my pizza home ... 2 min away it was still hot and promptly turned on the episode of chopped that he won because how can I not have his pizza while I watch him kick some butt in the kitchen !! Well let me say the pizza is wow chef's kiss delicious ! I can not wait to try the other ones I will definitely be back again ... in case you're wondering the crust is super thin. The edges are nice and crunchy. It was cooked to absolute perfection. It's a definite must try if you like that spicy sweet sort of flavor. It was so good. read more

Wilmington is not lacking in good pizza joints-- lucky us-- and Dough House stands out among them all. They've got something really unique and really good happening here. Tonight was my first visit, and it was special. Great location on a cute little corner downtown. Awesome neon in the front window. I had a good feeling walking in. We ordered a medium Hot Honey White. Tables were all taken, but one opened up for us within minutes. The pizza came out quickly. This thing was outstanding. Beautiful crust-- some of the best pizza crust I've ever had. The combination of toppings on the Hot Honey White are magic. The roasted garlic oil, in particular, knocked my socks off. I will look forward to working my way through Dough House's entire menu. read more

Had I not been here several times before and had better experiences, I would never return. I ordered a regular pepperoni pizza and the sauce was missing completely(?). There's no way to call the restaurant on the phone that I know of (I've been looking for a number for months) so I just accepted it as a loss which is very disappointing because all of my past experiences have had great service and zero issues. read more

We walked into Dough House Pizza around 12:30 AM after a wedding. We had 10 people in our group and ordered a large pizza to split. Service was fast and friendly, and they were very accommodating for a large group at that hour. We also loved the pizza!! Try it!!! We have been wanting to go since this place opened and decided to go on Valentine's Day. The pizza is insanely good and we also got sandwiches. I made my own sandwich with gabbagool, prov, crushed pistachios, and a few fix ins- SO GOOOD. Also the salads are amazing we got the Mediterranean salad and it was zesty and flavorful. I can be a little bit of a snob with sandwiches and pizza and am obsessed with this place. read more

One of my favorite places to get pizza. Food is consistently great. However, their hours are incredibly inconsistent. It's extremely frustrating the number of times I've gone to place an order and couldn't because they weren't open. There is conflicting hours on their website, toast tab, and google. For weeks their online ordering system was down. This shouldn't be a problem but they have no phone number so there is no way to confirm hours or place an order over the phone. If you have a question or issue about/with an order, you have to message them on facebook. I'm at the point where I don't think I should spend money at a place that continuously frustrates the hell out of me. read more

We went to this restaurant for dinner before going to a comedy show. We ordered a large pizza for four people and it was more than enough food. The food was made relatively quickly and tasted good. I enjoyed going here I just wish the restaurant was bigger. There were a number of customers who were there for dining in, and it seemed like they had a limited number of tables for seating. Pricing was all right- it was about $30 for a large pizza. I would come back there if I was in the area. read more

We visited "Dough" for the first time on a Friday night in December. I was a little taken aback on how limited the inside seating options, but decided to eat in instead of takeout. We ordered 3 pizzas and they were GREAT! The first was a large that had fresh (good) pepperoni, and mushrooms. The sauce went well with the toppings and wasn't sweet or acidic. The crust was crispy and held together, not floppy or doughy. The second pizza was a cheese, mushrooms with a balsamic drizzle, again really good. The third pizza was a sausage and cheese, and was delicious. The interior was small was clean and cozy, and the service level was better than others in downtown Wilmington. A nice surprise and will go to Dough again! read more

New place that just opened not too long ago. Small but a good looking space. You order take out or sit down (there's. A few tables for dine in). I love my pizza.... One of my two favorite foods. And I can say that this pizza was excellent. Best I've found since we've moved down here a few years ago. We got the basic pepperoni pizza because that's how I like to judge a pizza place.... On the basics. Delicious crispy crust, great sauce and toppings. We talked with one of the co-owners and he couldn't have been nicer. He explained about the menu, the dipping sauces and the high quality ingredients they use. The rest of the staff were friendly also. Outside of pizzas, they have subs and salads and a few other things. They also have dessert. We had the tiramisu (made in house) and it was great. This place warrants many return trips and I hope they around a long time. read more

What a great addition to downtown dining scene. Casual but great attentive service from a lovely staff. Seating is ample and layout is inviting. And now for that pizza!!!!! I chose a salad and ngl the bite size portion of the salad is laughably small but it is what it is, I can't really complain as it was $9.50 total and it was delicious too. The only thing that was negative about our experience is smoke, the entire place was visibly smoky as if something got burnt, and we smelled like smoke hours after we left the shop. Hopefully this was a one off and not a permanent issue. I would for sure recommend this place if you're visiting!

Shaved ribeye, arugula, horseradish on delicious sourdough bread. Perfect amount of ribeye and the all of the components worked perfectly. Saw quite a few people getting the burger as well, people rave about it. We also got an order of the garlic parm curly fries which couldn't have been much better, place just has such a fun menu putting their twist on American staples, perfect spot to grab a bite and watch a game. Our server had food recommendations, limited seating inside but just the right amount, worth any kind of wait you might encounter.

Skyline Cafe is essentially a duplicate of Brooklyn Cafe. Owner was nice and welcoming like my last experience at Brooklyn Cafe. There were small tables in the cafe itself and some chairs with personal tables joined to the chair by the front entrance. There were also a ton more tables around the corner but looked like it was a cafeteria/lunch break area, separate from the cafe. Coffee beans are organic from Hampstead. Wasn't a big fan of the coffee (had a drip) but I enjoyed the Ollie's donut (cake donut made with mashed potatoes) and cheese and jalapeño Kolache (Czech yeast pastry) with sour cream. Flavors of the donut included coconut, vanilla, chocolate, lemon. The donut was perfect to pair with coffee. The kolache was warmed up after ordering and was filling. There was a display case with to-go items such as Chobani Greek strawberry yogurt, coconut overnight oats with strawberry chia seed jam, dragonfruit chia seed pudding with coconut milk, and the Kitchen Sink sandwiches. Bathroom is down the hallway by the health clinic. No changing tables or high chairs.

While that was disappointing, I understand that delays happen. The bigger issue was the fly infestation toward the back of the restaurant. The flies were practically covering the mirror behind our table (as shown in my photos). While we were waiting for our food, they mostly stayed on the mirror and seats, but as soon as the food arrived, they were constantly landing on it. I spent the entire meal swatting flies away from our plates, which made it very difficult to enjoy our food. As for the food itself, the blueberry hush puppies were amazing! Unfortunately, the rest of the meal was disappointing. I ordered the Biscuit Shack, and it was served on tough bread with a slice of cheese that was still cold, as if it had just been taken out of the refrigerator and placed on top. Two other dishes at our table also had eggshells hidden in the food. Overall, between the flies and the food quality issues, we likely won't be returning.
