So as you can imagine you will find all your dental needs at this office. We find that the doctors at this office do a really good job with cavities, teeth cleaning, etc. I've had another barbaric dentist from another town over leave me with a bad bite from a terrible cavity fill and this office was able to help me with correcting that. My family gets regular dental check-ups here and cleanings. The office is very large, clean, neat and even has it's own finance department to help you understand the costs that you will incur which I really like this way nothing is a surprise. They give you the option to decide if you can afford the services and/or arrange some kind of payment option. The only thing I don't like about the office is that the doctor's are always trying to up sell another service or recommending something that may not be of urgency. If they could they would probably keep us visiting them on a regular basis. Otherwise we really like this dental office and the doctors. A++

I'm 4 months pregnant and had done extensive dental work in preparation for this pregnancy - an extra cleaning; a scaling; two teeth pulled for a cracked tooth and a failing root canal that couldn't support dental surgery; implant posts drilled; and a root canal (decided to wait to crown the implants post baby) - most done with gas and plenty of novocaine due to a dental phobia that started after a dentist damaged my trigeminal nerve during a botched novocaine injection. So I was extremely disappointed and stressed about a possible infection that would require painful remediation/antibiotics/pulling/who knows what/etc. and that may also be potentially affecting the baby negatively (I've spent my share of time on Pub Med meditating over all the research on how insidious and damaging dental infections are to a developing fetus). But after all that prep, last week, the root canal molar that was done just 5 months ago started to hurt and Dr. Park was able to diagnose the problem (the crown wasn't fit properly which lead to bacteria being able to get into the gumline and cause a gum infection - see X-ray I attached if you are into teeth!), propose a solution (go to a referred dentist - Dr.Jeff Suh, who also has stellar reviews, also in Scarsdale) for a new temporary crown which will then be replaced by Dr. Park during a full root canal restoration following the baby's birth so as to avoid the extra x-rays and stress of doing the full restoration now while still pregnant (plus, I would need gas due to my dental anxiety for the long full restoration procedure and I certainly can't do that whilst pregnant). I just found Dr. Park to be the most thorough, comprehensive dentists I've ever been to - he took time to go over every nuance of the issue, walking me through the anatomy, the issues with the crown, all my options, etc. - all while on an already fully booked busy schedule. I was so grateful. His demeanor has earned my trust and respect and I'm so pleased that I've found a new endodontist! The office is new and each exam room has the latest equipment and is bright, clean, and sunny. The receptionists are super upbeat and friendly, and the dental assistants are also cheerful and very efficient, as well. Don't hesitate to book a visit!!

I have high nerves, so it's extremely difficult to get me numb. I was sore after the numbness wore off, but pain free the next day! Dr. Reiss is my general dentist. She's thorough and good. She cares about her patients. Fay is my favorite. Great sense of humor, caring and definitely easy on the eyes! I recommend Advanced Dental. I've hated going to the dentist. That feeling still exists, but I know I'm in good hands and they'll make me as comfortable as possible.

Today was the follow up appointment for the root canal I had last month…read more I arrived earlier than my appointed time. Last time the GPS sent me to the wrong end of Fox St; and kept rerouting me back to the same spot. Today the GPS did it's job. The front desk staff informed Dr. Blondin that I was here; and almost immediately I was ushered into an exam room. His assistant had me in two bibs to protect my clothes, asked if I wanted music, I thought I was on a cruise ship. Every knob, handle, wire, instrument in the room was covered with plastic. The Zeiss microscope was in its own sealed plastic bag. Dr. Blondin was in shortly. He explained what was going to happen today in his cheerful and reassuring voice. After a local analgesic; the work began. A dental dam was applied, then the drilling began. All the while the doctor was letting me know what was going on during the procedure. A few X-rays latter I was almost done. The X-rays showed the true picture of the bicuspid and the repair done. I'm way past the age of being in awe of anything. This endodontist office leaves me awestruck. Everyone does their job with precision and acumen. If you need a great endodontist - This is the place to go to first. What's that old saying? "you've seen the rest; now see the best". I'm paraphrasing.

I called to schedule and as soon as I told them who my…read moreinsurance was, they told me, oh we don't want to be in their network and didn't mean to sign up 2 years ago. They refused to bill my insurance. The staff said they would charge a flat $1400 for a root canal and would give me an itemized bill that I could submit to my insurance. I confirmed again with my insurance the day before that Dr. Magda was in-network. I went in for the root canal and temporary filling because she doesn't do the post, core, crown or permanent fillings. They took an x-ray before going into the procedure room. They said everything went well afterwards and it was done in under 30 minutes. 3 days later I woke up with a bad tonsil infection, worst Albany Med Urgent Care had ever seen. It was concluded by multiple physicians that it was related to the root canal since it was a bottom tooth; whether the tooth was infected and Dr. Magda didn't catch it or I caught the infection at the office. I called Dr. Magda's office as soon as they opened and the receptionist said she would speak with the doctor to let her know. Surprisingly, I never even got a phone call back to check on me or ask me to come in to check the tooth/root canal. My medical doctors and primary dentist monitored the infection and tooth. Long story short, almost 6 months after said root canal I had to have my tonsils removed because the swelling never went away even though the infection was resolved. To make matters worse, when I submitted my dental claim to my insurance, Dr. Magda managed to get her contract with my insurance cancelled retro to just days before my procedure. I find it hard to believe they suddenly had this major update to their contract. More likely, they called to cancel because I disagreed with them not billing my insurance as a network provider. I requested a copy of my record, but it was missing notes about calling after the procedure. When I called to inquire they had no record of me ever calling about an infection. Cover up at its best! I don't understand the hype surrounding how great this office is. Think twice before you schedule a procedure here.
