If you're looking for a quick boba spot, this is it. My boyfriend and I shared the XL peach oolong and it was okay. The pricing was pretty good for what it was ($8). Wish the boba had a bit meow flavor. We ordered 50% sweetness and even then it was a bit too sweet. The staff member was very nice and helpful. The best thing that I like about this place is that I get to decide how sweet I want my drink. This review is only specific to this drink which is the coffee milk tea with boba. I came in around 1:30PM and service was fast and nice. However, the drink itself was not good. I was disappointed as I've had other drinks at different Gong Cha locations and they were quite good. This one tasted chemical-y and the boba was not fresh. I ended up throwing it away. I definitely won't be getting this drink again at this location, but will try others and can update the review then. read more

Super shocked that Bakersfield has a Gong Cha now omg!!!!! My friend and I went the first day of the grand opening. We assumed it would be its own storefront so imagine our reaction when we saw it was inside a gas station haha. It was really nice and clean though! We thought it was really cool but it did throw us off for a good second. I ordered the matcha milk tea while he ordered the taro milk tea. Gong Cha has been everywhere internationally. :) The first time I tried Gong Cha is when I was in Asia. This boba place is located inside the Tobbins store near the gasoline station. Went here on their 2nd day of grand opening and they had the BOGO bobas which was a great deal! I loved the flavors, customer service, and cleanliness of the place! Only gave 4 stars bec. the drink wasn't cold enough and I think the portion/size is smaller than the usual boba places i go to. It's in a brand new gas station so it's super clean and new still. They have a small seating area despite it's in a gas station so that's a plus. The passion fruit green tea with coconut jelly was definitely a 5 star drink but my earl grey milk tea with boba was a bit disappointing as the boba was over cooked(not chewy but mushy). The service was a bit slow though it wasn't busy at all - hopefully they will improve this with time. Will be back!! read more

Another amazing place that came to Bakersfield. The teas are on par as always. The service great, the staff was super nice and accommodating for my friend who waited for some more boba to be made. I wish the chairs at the bar wasn't so small. I was able to barely fit and my friend could fit, bigger chairs are needed. But all in all great place read more
