Toastique is an awesome little restaurant/juice bar the serves fresh juices, smoothies, and gourmet toast. I thought the same thing "fancy hipster toast" but it's actually quite good. My go to it the spicy crap toast with a super fruit smoothie. It's probably not enough to suffice as a meal but I've been here often as a nice spot to take a break and get a quick snack and refresh during a busy day out. The food and juice are great and the service is friendly. This is not a table service restaurant though. Order and pick up at the counter. The workers are always friendly though and the ambiance is nice and relaxing. Finally tried Toastique and it was amazing! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully put together. I ordered the Spicy Crab Toast, which was perfectly balanced with just the right amount of heat, super fresh, and very filling without being heavy. I also got the Balance juice, which was refreshing and clean, a great compliment to the toast. My mom ordered the Tuscan Tuna Toast, which she said was fresh tuna, great flavor, and really well seasoned. My mom ordered one of their smoothies (can't remember the exact name), but she loved it. The atmosphere was clean and modern, the food felt high quality, and everything tasted thoughtfully made. Quite yum! I enjoy the vibe of this place. I've been 3 times now and I'm consistently amazed by the fresh juices/smoothies/açaí bowls/toasts. My favorite toast was a summer seasonal chicken salad one, super tasty! It would be amazing if it was the all year round. This was my first time visiting Toastique and the hype wasn't lived up to. Upon arriving the staff seemed a little frustrated and on edge. I ordered a spicy ahi tuna toast, a kids pb&j, an avocado toast with egg, as well as 2 apple juices and I was shocked at the price of toast these days! When we went to find a table it was a little disappointing to see empty tables that were messy and sticky after paying an arm and a leg for toast. My sister lives back east and showed me an açaí bowl that was pina colada inspired and I immediately knew I had to find one. So color me surprised when the Cocolada bowl came across my instagram feed. I checked the location and headed that way. This place has a very cutesy vibe going on. It's really clean and fresh inside. Has lots of white and greenery throughout. The lady behind the counter was nice enough when I placed my order. My first impression was it doesn't have a lot of toppings so it should be easy to eat which was true but I didn't love the consistency of the base. It melted too quickly and it had an almost alcoholic taste to it? I wasn't a fan of the shaved coconut or the granola with the pumpkin seeds either. This was my first time stopping by and I grabbed a coffee. The staff was very welcoming, gave me some time to look over the menu, greeted me as soon as I walked in and checked to see if I had any questions. Service was excellent, ample seating and very cute inside. Only thing was my coffee wasn't the best, I ordered a vanilla iced latte with almond milk but wasn't sure if it was forgotten as it didn't taste anything like vanilla. The color of the coffee indicated it was going to be perfect just missed the vanilla flavor. They have non-dairy milk alternatives (.75 cents extra) and flavors added to the coffee you can choose from include lavender, chocolate, vanilla, cardamom (.50 cents extra). Let me start of by saying Toastique is a beautiful, trendy establishment, and their food presentation is on point! I ordered a lavender matcha latte and it definitely tasted fresh but I wasn't the biggest fan. I felt like it lacking flavor. I also ordered the 3 Cheese Italian toast and this would have exceeded my expectation if it didn't have so much salt on it. I'm not sure if it was just an off morning and they accidentally added wayyyy too much but if it didn't have that overpowering the dish it was very good. I will give them another try here in a couple of weeks. The employees were welcoming, the establishment was clean and I felt like they just missed the mark. Coffee Shop No. 456 Toastique Bakersfield, CA November 26, 2024 Cortados and gourmet toast!! This could possibly be a better combination than peanut butter and coffee. Toastique is on the corner of a strip mall and an abundance of light streams through the cafe. It's decorated with natural soothing colors, plenty of seating and plants (another one of my favorites). I couldn't decide on a gourmet toast, because they all looked and sounded fabulous. I ended up ordering an Avocado Smash. It was delicious. After the last bite I realized I got overexcited and forgot a picture. My cortado was made by the owner who was very approachable and friendly. It seemed like he takes his crafting of espresso drinks very seriously. The cortado definitely met and superseded my expectations. I don't visit Bakersfield often, but I will definitely make it back to Toastique and recommend it to my family and friends in the area. Enjoying life one cortado at a time! read more

Adding table salt/pepper/balsamic vinegar on the table would have made my meal better. To my surprise, it was pretty empty for Mother's Day. The dead plant on the counter should have been tossed in the trash...other than that...the place is nice and the service was good. I walked into the building and was greeted by a bright open space with some small tables and seating. Largest table is for 4 and there is out door seating too. I ordered the 3 cheese Italian toast and the cure green juice. My bill in total with a small tip was $26. I was expecting the toast to be bigger but it was basically regular sized toast. It was salty with a small sweet taste from the balsamic drizzle on top of the arugula. Think it could have been more balanced. But it was cheesy and salty and very yummy with the prosciutto. Green juice is sweet so it balanced out the salty toast. It was definitely pricey for what you get. I definitely think this is a place for a Saturday girl hang, an Instagramable toast and green juice for after an Instagramable hike. No hate on those things just calling out the vibe. read more

The atmosphere was bright, clean and inviting and we were greeted by a warm smile right away. The menu offered several selections of gourmet toast, bowls, smoothies, and juices. I was pleasantly surprised when I was asked if the gluten-free bread was a choice or an allergy. Big bonus points for celiac like me. My husband ordered three cheese, Italian toast. Our toasts arrived quickly, and they were devoured just as quickly. I really appreciated a delicious breakfast that was something different and not too heavy. I was also impressed by the amount of flavor I enjoyed from the dish. I kept wanting my husband to take a bite of mine, but he was too busy enjoying his own. It was easy to get parking, which is right in front. We ordered the Tuscan Tuna and the Spicy Crab. The Spicy Crab is a much more complex and heavier, warm dish while the Tuscan Tuna was cold and multi textured and tart. Both were delicious!
