I am obsessed with their boba drinks. Taro, pistachio, black milk tea and Thai! Try it.

On a recent morning visit I had the Breakfast Bagel with bacon (on a jalapeño bagel) and an iced…read morecoffee. They serve Pete's Coffee and it was great. The breakfast sandwich was pretty good. Plenty of bacon, which was chopped small and piled on the egg. I didn't really love the jalapeño bagel, so next time I would just order an everything bagel or something more classic. Overall it's a good breakfast sandwich though. They have a fairly large breakfast menu with multiple options (sandwiches and more). In terms of savory breakfast choices they have more variety than most other coffeeshop/order-at-the-counter places I've been too in Bakersfield (which seem to mostly just offer sweets). Another nice thing about going here for breakfast is that there seems to be plenty of seating. Even though it was very busy, it seemed like most people were taking food to go. I had my choice of a table inside or one on the patio. I sat outside in the shade on a cool morning and it was nice. The biggest downside is that they are not very fast, especially when it gets busy. There was a pretty long wait, both before and after ordering. Overall Bagels & Blenderz is a solid place to get a breakfast sandwich and a coffee, so long as you're not in a hurry. On other occasions I have just stopped in to pick up some bagels and cream cheese to go, and that tends to be faster (and their classic bagel flavors are solid). My family and I will definitely visit again the next time we are going out for breakfast.

Bagels and Blenderz was really busy so seating was next to none. It took about 10-15 minutes to get my bagels The bagels were fresh, however, these are not your traditional NY style bagels....unfortunately. A New York-style bagel is a dense, chewy, and glossy bagel known for its distinct malty flavor, achieved by boiling in water with barley malt before baking. Key characteristics include a shiny, crisp crust and a soft, chewy interior. Bagel and Blenderz bagels: 2/10, no "chew" very dense and I can smell the yeast, definitely not a traditional bagel. Heck Panera has better bagels. These are more like very dense bread masquerading as bagels. I'm beyond disappointed. Additionally, no one in my house liked them. I don't recommend the bagels. Thumbprint cookies, I had high hopes for these, but they are rock hard. I expected a nice flaky cookie, similar to the thumbprint cookies from Smith Bakery. This rating is solely based on the food purchased and doesn't reflect customer service. Customer service was good and staff were friendly.

Been here a couple of times & this is the best Vietnamese coffee spot in Bakersfield for sure! Not…read moreonly is the coffee super strong, the foam is sooo good (cream cheesy, salty and sweet) & it's really affordable too. The drinks usually come out pretty quick & are consistent every time :). The only thing that's kinda weird is how warm it is inside! I also don't think you can study here bc there's no WiFi -- but it would be a nice place to come and catch up w friends! Also, they're currently doing a 2 for 1 sale! (4/26/26). I took a short hiatus for a bit because I had a bad experience with one of the baristas being a bit short / rude lol, but thank you to Brandon for being so bright / helpful after I asked so many questions! I was able to make a decision pretty quickly after he allowed me to try a small sample of the tiramisu foam top. If you're somebody who likes the drinks pretty sweet, I would recommend getting a higher level of sweetness bc again, the coffee is pretty strong / bitter (just how I like it, personally). I really love the banana Vietnamese coffee (wish it was a banana top; but the bananas are blended in and you can def taste the chunks -- which I like bc I hate artificial banana taste) & the tiramisu Vietnamese coffee is super good as well. I have yet to try any other drinks yet bc the coffee is just so good :)

The worker (or probably the owner?), who took and made our order, was very friendly and welcoming. We ordered their cookies & cream boba drink and mango snowy drink. The cookies & cream was mediocre at best and boba was a little too hard. The Mango Snowy was HORRIBLE! First sip hit me with a medicine-like taste. An absolute NO for me. They have a variety of options to choose from but the ones we've tried were definitely not it. Try this place at your own risk.
