Large variety of drink options to choose from. You'll definitely find something to order. I love their crème brûlée series drink. I make sure to get light ice 50% sugar bc I don't like my drinks extra sweet. My drink got to me no longer than 5 minutes, they were pretty quick. Whenever I'm working in cypress, I'll go here since it's in the same complex. Very convenient and good spot in the 290 outlet

I love GongCha and this was my first time trying this location and am highly disappointed! I ordered the Lemon Ai-Yu and added Aloe to the drink. After a few sips I tasted something very bitter and had to run to the restroom to throw up. Nothing came up except the drink. I brought this to the front desk employee as well as the manager/owner and they told me that they could only give me 50% off of my next drink if I wanted. That was it. No apologies or further inquiry. Blatant denial. I wanted to inform them that maybe the batch was bad and to be careful before serving to the next customer. Will be making the health department aware so that this doesn't happen to others. Just a good note for those coming here to cool down after shopping at the outlets. BEWARE!

Price I was charged, more than stated in menu

OMG it's hot inside. Need to turn the air conditioner on. And I was overpriced for my drink. Take a look at the photos below and you'll see I was charged more than what the menu says. Not cool, shady shady.

This is my go to bubble tea place in Cypress since it's conveniently located right in front of my neighborhood!! Delicious and high quality tea!! Plenty of flavors to choose from and the owner is super nice! (She already knows our order whenever we call LOL... that's how often we go here) Good bubble waffles too!!! Expect a 10 mins delay as the waffles are cooked fresh! You can order ahead via phone if you're a regular (like my family and me)! All you have to do is pay once you arrive and the drinks will be ready to be picked up. Sometimes, I skip everyone else (the walk-ins) waiting for their drinks! On April 30th, it's National Bubble Tea Day. I got a free keychain and a free topping of black pearls in my usual go to drink. You have to order 3+ drinks for the free keychain though. My mom usually gets the honey lemon green tea while I get the passion fruit green tea with crystal bubbles. You can also change the sweetness level and I get 100% sweetness. The normal default is 70% sweetness unless asked otherwise. My family has tried almost every single flavor and topping here but we have our favorites that we never get tired of (listed above). My sister and I were even here on their grand opening! (You can say that we are mega fans of this place haha. We discovered this franchise while visiting family in the Philippines so we were SUPER EXCITED when one opened right in front of our neighborhood!!!) There are 2 reserved parking spots in the front. Do take note that it shares a parking lot with the outlet mall and other restaurants. It does get packed on the weekends. There's also a free loyalty program where you enter your phone number for bonuses. Highly recommend this place to quench your boba tea cravings!!!

The tea itself was good, so that's where I'm focusing the points on for this review. I'm taking the rest out of eating because it was a weekend afternoon. It was pretty busy, staff took a little bit to greet and seemed rushed. Maybe they were understaffed, and had a few orders waiting. We were finally attended and then the wait wasn't too bad, so recovered. The main feedback from my family was, "too much ice", but still good!

Gong Cha next to Houston Premium Outlets

WoW, I am utterly disappointed in this specific Gong Cha located on 29110 US-290 suite #250 · (832) 653-2908 across from Houston Premium Outlets. More specifically, I am dumbfounded and infuriated with the store manager for her ignorance, insensitivity, and carelessness. After shopping at Houston Premium Outlets, we took our two nephews to Gong Cha and ordered them two plain Oolong teas. After walking out the door, I saw the labels on the teas, which showed the sugar content at 70%. Surprised that the teas contained sugar, I walked back to the cashier and told her that I didn't know the teas contained sugar and I needed it to be sugar-free since my nephews are diabetics. The young cashier was understanding and ready to help. Surprisingly, the manager shook her head and proceeded to tell us that she couldn't help since I didn't request "no sugar." I told her that I didn't ask for "70% sugar" either. I explained that it's imperative that the teas are sugar-free since the suagr will cause my nephews to go into hyperglycemia. (Since they have diabetes, their bodies can not break down sugar like regular people). The manager (she refused to give me her name) suggested that she remedy the situation by taking back the open drinks, pouring out half of the teas, and adding ice. (NO SUGAR means 0% SUGAR).I reminded her that our mouths have been on the straws, but she seemed content with jeopardizing cross contamination in the working area. I asked her to please make 2 more sugar-free teas, and again, she refused and asked us to be reasonable. The two teas were less than $10, which to us is a modest amount and didn't hurt us, but I would rather trash the teas myself than allow her to think that violating Houston Health Department's rules and regulations is acceptable. According to Houston Health Department: "Food establishment personnel must demonstrate knowledge of food borne disease prevention and the application of the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point principles (HACCP)." The manager failed to demonstrate compliance and procedure. We have reported this specific Gong Cha establishment to the Health Department. We will, however, continue to frequent other Gong Cha restaurants like the one in Katy and the one in Tomball.

Quick, friendly service. The location is slightly inconvenient to get to because it's on a 1-way. The cashier today was really helpful and answered all my questions and made suggestions. He also told me to take my time. I got a milk foam strawberry matcha with strawberry jelly (they're heart shaped!), and a matcha latte with red bean. Both very delicious!

It definitely took me awhile to drive to this location so I'm pleased to say that my drink compensated for the distance! The earl gray milk tea has a distinct floral flavor to it, very light & refreshing. With that said, my one complaint would have to be that despite getting it at 30% sweetness, I personally felt like the tea flavor wasn't strong enough for me. I paired this with the white pearls which was good, but I think regular pearls or herbal jelly would've complimented the drink better. Regardless, it didn't taste watered down (which is an issue many shops have) and I'd definitely recommend it if you're unsure of what to get! The lady who took my order was very kind as well, so kudos to the service! The place had a very bright ambiance which I like a lot.

This gongcha is so beautiful and quick. My friends and I got our drinks quick! The manager is super friendly and very informative. She gave us the Gongcha cards to play with for a little bit since it wasn't busy today. COVID-19: require masks

Dirty brown sugar, milk, tea my fav .

The milk foam, dirty brown tea is so delicious. I am here way too often but it's worth it. They always have cute Christmas decorations up . i'm never in there too long because the service is great .Definitely one of my favorite bubble tea places. One of my favorite things is that you can choose how much ice or sweetening you want. It's a really great option.

Ask the Community - Gong Cha

    Do they have milk alternatives?

They may, but they definitely have slushy options with no milk.

Gong Cha is a franchise. Hours of operations vary depending on location. So just a tid bit, rather than a question really. On APPLE MAPS, the hours are listed incorrectly. Can someone fix this?

Now please stop hitting on the servers, otherwise I'll have to rename it In-putting-the-moves-on Bubble Tea Bar. I prefer Outfuzion, especially after how this place went downhill. I used to love the stand-alone shop of Infuzion way up on the FM in Spring. This one is way out in Hempstead in the northwest corner of Cypress at the mall, same owner, same menu, couldn't be more different though. Positives - it's great to have some bubble tea at the mall, it's refreshing and better than other options, and sometimes service is nice (sometimes not). Negatives - I have to say that Infuzion is not what it once was. Some of their drinks taste good but some of them are really lacking something. As I said about the other location - definitely one of the places where I have mixed opinions. My first visit here I really like some of the Innovative drinks they had. The stand in the Cypress outlet mall on the other hand was really disappointing. When we came back for our second and third visits here we had a more mixed experience. I didn't get the best impression of the owners and some of the drinks we're not very impressive. So I have mixed feelings and issues with this place. I still think it's great to have this at the mall and it's still a lot better than most bubble tea you will find in most malls. Not to mention Barbie did some of her greatest ever modeling here as you can see. A night with me can cause some bruisin' Which is why I win while they be losin' But if your lips are scarlet And you're kinda a harlot Then get bubble tea now from Infuzion
