Really enjoyed my visit to Happy Lemon! I tried the Original Milk Tea, Milk Tea with Puff Cream, and the Egg Waffle with Puff Cream. Everything was delicious. The puff cream was super creamy with the perfect sweet-and-salty flavor, and the boba was nicely chewy. The food and drinks were both really good, and the atmosphere was casual and pleasant. I'd recommend ordering the drinks with 75% sugar and 75% ice -- it tasted just right for me. Definitely coming back!

I tried their Dragon Fruit with lychee juice that is topped with Salted Cheese and I was underwhelmed. I know dragon fruit can be bland, but it said it was mixed with lychee juice and that usually is sweet. So I thought with this combination for sure there will be some kind of taste coming through. I didn't do any modifications to the drinks either. Bummer because it sounded different and interesting. But I mentioned this to the staff and they were nice enough to make me a different drink. So I appreciate that. I ordered my usual, Passion fruit green tea and did 75% sugar and it was super sweet still. I should've went down to like 30% sugar. The real star is their bubble waffle! I ordered the Oreo flavored bubble waffle and it eas so jive and crispy on the outside but so soft on the inside. This was probably the best bubble waffle I've had.

There are actually several Happy Lemon locations around town. This one I frequent the most since it's right by my Chiro. I've ordered a few different things but always go back to the #1 - Green Tea with Salted Cheese. If you're wondering what Salted Cheese is, it's this yummy goodness of what I think is salt and cream cheese in a foam like texture. Since the drinks are made to be on the sweeter side, the saltiness of the cheese balances it out really well. Speaking of the sweet side, I've also experimented with a couple of things to help make it less sweet. Instead of sugar, I sub for honey water. For the add on, Grass Jelly is a light, fresh, and somewhat neutral taste so it really helps to mellow that out. For this trip, I did try the Boba so you'll see it in the photos. Thought it was alright and am okay with not getting it again. Note: There's now a Happy Lemon app so if you go often, it tracks what you get and you get free offer after a certain time. The service has been okay for the most part. I do think this time around my drink is way sweeter than usual so there's a bit of inconsistency there but I always get my drink order pretty quickly. It's very white and yellow inside so pretty bright when you walk in. The place is clean and spacious. I think folks could study or work there. Not sure of the wifi situation though. I usually just grab and go. Overall it's a decent boba spot. I enjoy the salted cheese drink so plan to come back from time to time.

Happy to see this place in Cypress. We have been here several times. My favorite drinks so far are the Mango Matcha, Dragon fruit lychee with salted cheese, and Okinawa all for favorite different reasons. If you're a fruit lover I recommend the first 2. Jasmin lemon slushy is a good one if you don't like dairy and want something fruity. The Okinawa with soy milk substitute is great if you don't want caffeine or dairy. Their bubble waffles are what really keeps us coming here! They taste great with puff cream or salted cheese. They take a little while to make but are worth it. The place itself is pretty clean every time we have come in. The only thing with this location is lacking in is that service is hit or miss. They've messed up our drinks on several occasions and on some they've made up for it. There was also a time when we came in close to closing, the chairs were already up, but it was 15 mins till closing. We came in and knew exactly what we wanted, and the two girls there looked annoyed about us even coming in to order. I get it was late, but it's not like we came in 2 mins till they had to close the door. That's one thing about the Katy location that's been different, they always go the extra mile for their customers.

So many boba shops in Houston how can you choose? Happy Lemon is definitely on the upper echelon of boba shops, I'm so glad they made their way up to Cypress. Having been to the other Houston HL grand opening weekends, I just knew I had to come here as well! The menu is smaller than your usual boba shop , which is a good thing because what they do have is excellent! From the matcha latte with salted cheese foam - always A+ to my favorite the strawberry milkshake/smoothie with boba.. You can't go wrong! This is what I ordered again this visit. The Menu might not be at max on opening weekend so definitely have to come back. Jfyou haven't tried our Happy Lemon yet, do it!

I got here during the soft opening weekends. I ordered the boba milk tea and green tea with salted cheese. Boba milk tea taste alright. Very little of boba even though it's called boba milk tea. Boba also taste pretty hard and tough not chewy to compare with other shops. Green tea with salted cheese is overly sweet, it's like you drink sugar water and doesn't taste any tea flavor in there. Normally when I order this drink, I dont have to adjust the level of sugar.

But this desert was just WAY TOO SWEET. The vanilla sauce was more like a sugary frosting that ruined the whole dessert for me.I don't know if it's because I'm old and my sweet tooth isn't as strong, but I couldn't eat much of it even after scraping off part of the frosting. Service/ambiance: Overall I think this was such a fun late night spot. We came at around 11:30 and the place was filled with people, mostly groups of friends, and it gave such a lively atmosphere. There was also board games that you can borrow.

I don't come often because parking is always a nightmare, and tonight was no exception. When I showed them the app, the staff seemed confused on how to do a redemption. So they had to call the owner for help. The owner apparently told them not to honor the redemption because they were in the process of switching rewards program platforms, and what used to be a 50‑point reward was going to be a 300‑point reward. The staff said my points would transfer eventually, but I only will have 63 -- not enough under the new system. Hey, I'm no entrepreneur. But I am a customer who eats out all the time. And to me this is a textbook example of an owner who doesn't get customer service. I drove all the way there, dealt with the parking, and came specifically to redeem a reward that still showed as valid in their app. It's not my fault their system hadn't switched over yet. These cakeball and truffle treats are only the size of a donut hole. It's not one of their higher end desserts. The obvious right move would've been to honor the reward and give the customer the treat. But nope. They chose the stingy route instead. And with that one decision, they lost another customer. Congrats and enjoy your cakeballs.
