The puff cream was super creamy with the perfect sweet-and-salty flavor, and the boba was nicely chewy. The food and drinks were both really good, and the atmosphere was casual and pleasant. I have not been to Happy Lemon in almost 6 months due to previous negative experiences. My boyfriend was nearby and offered to pick up drinks, so I sent him my order (F10 strawberry shortcake smoothie) and he came home with the drinks. They forgot all of the ingredients that make it special, like ths puff cream and strawberry puree in the bottom. They just made a regular old strawberry milkshake and charged him full price for it. I also know they heard his order correctly and that he asked correctly because they put a sticker that clearly says F10- strawberry shortcake on the side.... I tried their Dragon Fruit with lychee juice that is topped with Salted Cheese and I was underwhelmed. I know dragon fruit can be bland, but it said it was mixed with lychee juice and that usually is sweet. So I thought with this combination for sure there will be some kind of taste coming through. I didn't do any modifications to the drinks either. Bummer because it sounded different and interesting. But I mentioned this to the staff and they were nice enough to make me a different drink. So I appreciate that. I ordered my usual, Passion fruit green tea and did 75% sugar and it was super sweet still. I should've went down to like 30% sugar. The real star is their bubble waffle! There are actually several Happy Lemon locations around town. This one I frequent the most since it's right by my Chiro. I've ordered a few different things but always go back to the #1 - Green Tea with Salted Cheese. If you're wondering what Salted Cheese is, it's this yummy goodness of what I think is salt and cream cheese in a foam like texture. Since the drinks are made to be on the sweeter side, the saltiness of the cheese balances it out really well. Speaking of the sweet side, I've also experimented with a couple of things to help make it less sweet. Instead of sugar, I sub for honey water. For the add on, Grass Jelly is a light, fresh, and somewhat neutral taste so it really helps to mellow that out. For this trip, I did try the Boba so you'll see it in the photos. Thought it was alright and am okay with not getting it again. Note: There's now a Happy Lemon app so if you go often, it tracks what you get and you get free offer after a certain time. The service has been okay for the most part. I do think this time around my drink is way sweeter than usual so there's a bit of inconsistency there but I always get my drink order pretty quickly. It's very white and yellow inside so pretty bright when you walk in. The place is clean and spacious. I think folks could study or work there. Not sure of the wifi situation though. Happy to see this place in Cypress. We have been here several times. My favorite drinks so far are the Mango Matcha, Dragon fruit lychee with salted cheese, and Okinawa all for favorite different reasons. If you're a fruit lover I recommend the first 2. Jasmin lemon slushy is a good one if you don't like dairy and want something fruity. The Okinawa with soy milk substitute is great if you don't want caffeine or dairy. Their bubble waffles are what really keeps us coming here! They taste great with puff cream or salted cheese. They take a little while to make but are worth it. The place itself is pretty clean every time we have come in. The only thing with this location is lacking in is that service is hit or miss. They've messed up our drinks on several occasions and on some they've made up for it. There was also a time when we came in close to closing, the chairs were already up, but it was 15 mins till closing. We came in and knew exactly what we wanted, and the two girls there looked annoyed about us even coming in to order. I get it was late, but it's not like we came in 2 mins till they had to close the door. My kids and I love this place. The place is clean and the employees provide decent service. We typically get the green tea with passion fruit, dragonfruit lemon slush, grapefruit slush and mango tea always with boba or jelly. Mango is a little too sweet for my taste but they will adjust it to your liking. You can customize any drink however you like. I customize my drinks often and the employees work with me on my preferences. The bubble waffle is really good so we typically will get the original. We have yet to try the other flavors. I feel like they have quality ingredients because my family does not feel sick after finishing our drinks unlike some of the other boba places we've been to. Happy lemon is definitely growing all around the surrounding Houston areas. The drinks in the many happy lemons I've been too have all been consistent in taste so no opinions there except they are all tasty and refreshing. Customer service is what I look for when I go to a Happy Lemon now and this cypress location does a pretty good job at it. Having a toddler who always wants you drinks has its struggles but the staff here accommodated very well when I asked for an extra cup to use for my kid. They also mentioned how they can do spilt cups if it was easier for me to have it like that. They always provide a welcoming when entering (At least the times I've been ) The place always seems to be clean also. I guess when customers leave they clean the area promptly. The only downfall which isn't their fault is it can be tricky leaving the strip if you are driving away from 290. Just be careful when you enter and leave the complex. read more

I ordered through Uber eats and almost on a weekly basis for a while now. On this delivery I paid for it to be rushed as well as the service that I didn't get. They sent the Uber eats driver with an open boba cup and everything spilled as soon as I put the straw in. When I called the store to request a refund they insisted that it was the delivery drivers fault. Their boba is far from great and we just wanted to support a small business, but with the bad service and bad boba. Go to tea villa down the street much better service and even better boba . I was excited to try your boba drinks, as I had heard positive feedback from friends and online. Unfortunately, my experience was far from what I had hoped, leaving me feeling disappointed and concerned about the quality and cleanliness of the drink I received. I noticed an unusual taste in the milk tea. The drink itself had a slightly off, musty smell (I ordered the oreo milk tea) I began experiencing symptoms of what I believe to be food poisoning. I felt stomach cramps, nausea, and discomfort for several hours. I was forced to take time off work and the rest of my day. On top of the issues with the drink itself, I was also concerned about the customer service I received. The staff member who served me appeared visibly impatient and annoyed, which made the experience uncomfortable. When I asked a couple of questions about the menu, they responded with short, half-ass answers and a tone that felt quite aggressive. I'm not one to complain a lot but would appreciate it, if management could provide additional training on customer service to ensure that employees approach interactions with patience and professionalism. Every time we order drinks, we always add some sort of sinkers and it's either subbed with their regular boba or we get no sinkers at all. If there are no sinkers, then why the upcharge. I always come here since it's the closest boba place to me. The experience has been good so far, the employees are friendly and make drinks very fast. However, when I went there today, I ordered the drink I always had with half sugar, but the girl started making it as the other girl was still taking my order. I got the drink so quickly that I don't think the girl who was making it heard I wanted half sugar. And I even asked if it was half sugar, and she said yes. I ordered the A1, a green tea with salted cheese foam with 50% sugar. When the drink was handed to me, it was so unbearably sweet, as if the drink was 150% sugar instead of 50% . There was no other flavor other than cloying sweetness. Completely undrinkable. I go back and ask for the drink to please be remade with no sugar and the lady at the counter very VERY rudely told me that she could not do that "because i touched the drink". Was I supposed to magically know what it would taste like otherwise? This drink was $6.50 right to the trash, I threw it away because there was no saving the drink. It's not like I wanted a new drink, I just wanted to be able to drink something that I ordered. I did not order straight liquid sugar. I tried hundreds of boba shops in Texas and this is one of the best. Boba has always been a staple ever since I was a little kid. I can vividly remember the first time I tried boba. The cleanliness of the walls, the white, marble floor tiles, and the small reception in the corner of the shop. This shop recreates my childhood memories perfectly.
