2nd time trying Gong Cha ever and it did not disappoint! All 3 drinks were consistent of flavors and didn't lack the tea flavor. My only issue was that they should've used fresh mango puree in the mango green tea instead of the candied mango, made it a little sweeter than I would've liked/not the same refreshing taste you would get with fresh fruit. Also, remember to ask for less sugar! We did 50%-70% sugar in all the drinks and it was the perfect amount of sweetness. read more

I love gong cha and usually go to the location in Plano, however, this one is close to my job so i tried it out today on my way out! I am a huge Thai tea fan and decided to get that at this location. I loved the Thai tea but the pearls had a weird aftertaste that the Plano location never has. Not sure if it was just time or my taste buds were off. Still great location, not packed at all when i went! Staff is super friendly too. I've told all my insta friends (@jellieats) about this place so definitely still a must try! read more

Will definitely come back for the yogurt green tea but I'll skip the boba. The tea was perfect, and not too sweet. Ok, it was very sweet at regular sugar but I loved it. The boba had great flavor and was cooked through but it was a tough type of chewy rather than a gummy kind of chewy. I'm so glad there's finally a gong Cha on this side of town. The ONLY thing I don't like is their $5 credit card minimum. Otherwise, they're always on top, number one boba chain of my heart (for now, until someone better comes along). The milk tea flavor always consistently strong, creamy, and not watered down. The boba is always consistently soft and tastes great. No one else really compares in terms of quality, consistency, and RELATIVELY good prices. read more

So glad they opened a location here! We've been twice during the soft opening and enjoyed both visits. There are definitely some small kinks that they're still working out, but that's expected. My go-to drinks are the lemon wintermelon tea with basil seeds, oolong milk tea and any of the sea salt drinks. We were especially excited when we found them making our favorite bubble waffles there too! My only suggestion is that they could improve the atmosphere a little more... it seems a bit bare and cold right now. Since they're tucked away behind the main shopping area, I hope they'll do what it takes to maintain business here. read more

Oh. My. God. The Richardson girl is back. Drinks: I know Gong Cha is a franchise company that follows a set recipe, but something is done differently here and I love it. Maybe the tea leaves are brewed for a longer time or something, idk. I switch between their dirty brown sugar milk tea and strawberry milk tea w boba. I have a huge sweet tooth so be sure to adjust the sweetness on these very sweet drinks. Out of the 20 times I've come here, there's only been 1 time when the boba was not fresh and didn't have it's usual chew and bounce. Environment: One of the smaller locations I've been to, but overall pretty clean and tidy. Service: Okay, allow me to go off. I'm gonna sound legit crazy, but listen, listen. My friends live closer to the Gong Cha in Richardson so I used to go to that location *religiously*. There's this one cashier there who unconditionally hates every cell in my body. For example, there was this time my friends and I ordered under one tab. She was nice to them, maybe even cracked a smile, but then it was my turn to order. She looked at me with this dull expression, took my order, but didn't once move a single muscle in her face. Okay, now that you're caught up. GUESS what? She works at this location now. Like, baby girl, trust me, you aren't the only one that doesn't like me, but like damn, I don't even KNOW you. The first time I walked into this location and she saw me, she deadasss rolled her eyes at me & after she made my drink, homegirl slammed ("slammed" is honestly an understatement) my drink down and practically tossed the straws at me. I don't think my order is too complicated? I think I'm overall pretty nice to others? I've never said anything out of line to her? BUT, the owner (I think? Middle-aged Vietnamese lady) remembers me every single time I come here. She's the absolute kindest & always asks what I've been up to since the last time she saw me. read more

If you like Gong cha, don't come to the Frisco location! False advertisement All The Time! There's one time i got the promotion text with buy one drink get one half off, and i went to the store the front lady told me i can't use the promotion because the manager wasn't there. And this time i got another promotion again Specifically stating the Frisco location, and so i went again.. this time they told me they don't have this kind of promotion at this time. But i literally just received the promotion a couple days ago.. is there another Frisco location that i am not aware of? Oh gosh, i hope there is another one. read more

Love their teas!! You can customize sugar levels and ice levels as well. Their flavors are always on point. I usually get the winter melon tea with grass jelly! It's refreshing and just the right amount of sweetness because I don't really like it too sweet. read more

Absolutely loved my passionfruit yogurt slushie with boba!! Nice place to hang out at. They've got quite some milk teas and other caffeinated and non- caffeinated beverages. They also have the option of adjusting the sweetness of your beverage. The only reason I hold back a star is coz they don't offer many fruit flavors. read more

Don't bother joining their loyalty program, I received a text for a Buy One Get One promotion specifically for the Frisco location. Get to the location and told by both cashiers that it is not valid for their location. Makes no sense as you can see per attached pic of offer clearly stating "FRISCO". This location needs to get with the 21st century. Most boba sites have a loyalty program. This location is using a pamphlet with stamps. Seriously, who carries an envelope sized pamphlet with them. They obviously have done this on purpose which is sneaky of them. Additionally they won't let you combine stamps from different pamphlets, which other boba stores are more than willing to do. SNEAKY. There are plenty of boba stores in DFW that value and reward their repeating customers. Gonfcha Frisco is not one of them. read more

I want to give negative star but there is no option for that. The drinks are never consistent. Sometimes is good sometimes is bad. I went there for bubble tea and they are out of bubbles. The milk foam does not taste right , it is like a skim milk foam that has a little salty taste to it. Service is terrible, I complained about my drink and they said they cannot make me another one. I will not return to this location again. It sucks! read more

Having Sharetea across the street this place is a NO. The levels of sugar are meaningless, the 30% is as sweet as the 100%, the large size option is not large, about 40% smaller than the Sharetea size, the boba runs out with the 3rd sip and they fill it up only halfway. The boba is tough too. The service is terrible too, the attendant was rude and careless. Go to Sharetea! read more

Ordered a coffee milk tea with pudding and was so disappointed in the size and taste. I always add pudding to my drinks but this one was brown and tough?? Gross. If you want a good drink go across the street to ShareTea. Prices and sizes are better. read more

My absolute favorite bubble tea in the Dallas area! I love that I can get iced early grey tea here! It's not a flavor that every bubble tea place does. However I also try the classic milk tea, and that was also delicious. A new favorite I have also had here in the brown sugar milk tea. I get mine half sweet and it's perfect! I can't believe their cashier desk has no glass protection both to their customer and the kid worker. With covid cases escalating , the owner should have thought about ways to protect people coming in to that place. Every restaurant that I know has some kind of protection, barrier between customer and worker like a plexi glass or something and I'm surprise this place doesn't have one. Me and my partner love gong Cha! Every time we get a boba craving we Always come here since it's close to where we live! I Always get the large earl grey tea latte which never disappoints! My favorite part is there boba, it's not Super soggy like some other places and it's really chewy too!! Gong cha has been one of my top boba choices and this one is no exception. Store is clean, staffs are really friendly, helpful and my drink came out great. I got a brown sugar milk tea 50% and the sweetness was perfect, not too crazy like my other experiences. Nice clean place wt friendly service. But my coffee milk tea drink had ZERO coffee taste, only milk tea. Bubbles were definitely cooked well, one of the chewiest (in a good way) I've had in a while...BUT it had an artificial coating taste that was honestly kinda gross; I'd prefer a more authentic brown sugar coating. read more

Will not be bringing my business back here. Terrible customer service! Ordered my drink and had my hands full with a hyper toddler. When it was time to pick up from the counter, I dropped the cup and it cracked and spilled everywhere. Lost the entire drink. It wasn't their fault, nor should it have been expected for them to replace it because it was my error. However, the employees just looked at me like a deer in headlights. No offer to purchase another and just told me I was out of luck. After leaving a generous tip, a small act of kindness for a first time customer could have brought them more business, but instead I walked away extremely disappointed. Not a good way to run a business. read more

I got a mango milk slush and it tasted like blended ice, no flavor. When I explained the problem, they said that's how the slush series is so I reiterated that it has no flavor and she asked me "So what do you want me to do about it." I was thinking they could just remake it correctly or offer a different drink. They took the drink I've already drank out of, told me to take my straw out. Added more syrup and gave it back. There has to be some health code violation. read more

The place is also toddler friendly with a great kids menu, as my 3 year old devoured his Mickey pancakes! With a 3 year old things tend to spill, and when the apple juice spilled, the staff immediately helped clean the miss and get him a new juice! The fries were also delicious and had a great crisp. Eggsquisite will definitely be part of the brunch/lunch rotation for me and my family going forward!
