I really appreciate the staff giving boba and jelly samples to my kids. This made the experience very worthwhile. I wish they had a kids boba size, but they don't. My kids selected fairly popular items- strawberry milk tea and peach yogurt tea, but neither one liked the teas in the end. But that's ok- we had fun trying everything! The employees were super patient, although I wish they had asked what sweetness level they wanted in each tea, and I forgot that this was even an option until after we ordered. I really love coming to Gong Cha! The shop is cute and small, making it the perfect spot to grab a drink. My go-to order is always the brown sugar milk tea, and they get it just right every time. The staff is friendly, and the menu is easy to read, so ordering is always a breeze. The new self-ordering kiosk makes the process even quicker and more convenient. A large size is around $8, definitely not the cheapest, but it's comparable to other boba spots and not overly expensive for the quality you get. The shop can be a little hard to find since it's tucked away in a hidden spot at the Greenwood Shopping Centre, right next to Bealls Outlet. Had seen this place/sign in passing a bunch of times... it's in a very hidden area of the plaza so it's hard to remember to actually turn in. It's a cute typical boba place with a few tables. We went in and looked at a much more legitimate menu than other places, which was nice to see. We ordered a black sugar milk tea and a cream brûlée brown sugar tea. They ask about percent of sugar, again showing how legit a place should be. We asked for half sugar in the brûlée. We were excited to see exactly how this brûlée worked since the photo showed it to look so interesting! (See photos) Well we sure got our answer... she did flambé it, I even said I was a bit concerned and to my luck when I went to shake it... mine leaked all over. The cream was coming all down the sides, apparently the flambé burnt through and the lid didn't seal. So they went back and flipped my drink and handed it to me. I was expecting a drink to at least have the flambé flavor that was now gone. She said it didn't need to be remade. I was kind of shocked but ok... So it wasn't remade. It was so sweet it was like drinking a milkshake. Idk if they remembered the half that I told her when we got there... but that drink was not pleasant. Our other drink leaked a bit too, but not like the other, that was easy fix just to put a new top on. (Idk if that was the machine) still if I didn't shake it in the store I would have been on trouble. The brown sugar was ok. Nothing special. My only crazy thing I couldn't fathom was that I asked for napkins and she handed me paper towels from the dispenser machine over the sink... as if there were none? Gong Cha never disappoints, no matter the location. This Palm Springs, FL location was very clean, staff was welcoming and fast, along with cute decor! Plenty of parking in the lot and a few seating areas inside. I had the brown sugar milk tea with boba and my boyfriend had the taro milk tea with boba. The boba was fresh and squishy in both of our drinks and the taro wasn't overly sweet, but just right. Wow! Can't believe they opened a gong cha so close to me! I was in the same plaza and noticed it. I wish it was decorated more aesthetically but the tea was good. I ordered a purple sweet potato milk black tea with black pearl and grass jellies. I didn't realize that there was a charge for each topping. The best part is you get to choose your sugar level! I'm trying to cut back on my sugar intake & this allows me to sort of have my cake & eat it too. She (the Asian short hair girl) confidently said that: Passion fruit, Strawberry & Mango - it turns out 100% syrup! = False advertising!!! whenever we go to the area, gong cha is the go-to boba spot. the texture boba is the best in florida--and i've tried almost than a lot of boba in florida. the boba is perfectly qq (taiwanese term for "bouncy and chewy") and their service is always wonderful. the one thing though: their teas are quite sweet. i'm not sure if it's just the drinks i ordered the past two times (lychee and peach with creme brûlée foam), but even after ordering 50% sweetness for my peach drink (i forgot to on the lychee lol) it was still too sweet for my taste. on another hand, i have scoured boba shops for TORCHED crème brûlée on my drinks and after ages, i finally found it. crème brûle foam is basically milk foam but with sugar on top that's torched. it checked all the boxes on my fairly high expectations. highly recommended boba place to go. too bad it's not closer to where i live :( read more

Really glad these guys came into town. Everything I've tried is really good and the staff is super friendly. Highly recommend the mango green tea with lychee pearls, ube milk tea with coconut jelly, caramel milk tea with boba, and the bubble waffle with pearls. Really delicious! The only cons are that it's not really a place where you can sit and hang out since it's sort of loud, the service can be slow, and the sugar and ice measuring system is sort of weird. You have to choose either 0%, 30%, 50%, 70%, or 100% (I think) sugar and ice. It doesn't make a lot of sense to me yet and I've been there many times, but the staff is helpful in making suggestions. Coming from a boba critic this is by far the best boba place ive found. Somehow they seem to get the boba consistently cooked well. However the main reson I come here is for the STRAWBERRY TARO drink! I tried it once and now thats all i get there anymore. I also havent found any other place that can make me a strawberry taro half as good as the one here. The only thing i would say is that i wish there were more tables and chairs. The drinks are amazing here, I usually go on weekends and the cashier is always helpful nice and he takes his time when I have questions. The environment is nice, great music and even during a rush I get my drinks fast. I was in the area and went on a Monday night, no music the cashier with the black shirt was bland with no good social skills, she was just so bland cut and dry. The drinks were done fast and the girl with the red shirt was polite when I was handed the drinks. Highly disappointed, I went there with high expectations knowing they are from Taiwan and thinking they are the real Taiwanese sxxx. There was no one else there but my matcha boba took more than 10min to make. After taking the order the employee went inside to do something, came out, made the matcha, put too much of it in the cup and had to scoop up and dump some in a sink with a tiny spoon, add boba, ice and scoop and dump more. How do they not know the basic of making drinks? How do they put drinks all the way to the top to realize that was too much and scoop it, (and if you have to dump it all you have to do is tilt the cup above the sink), put ice and boba to realize more needs to be dumped instead of putting boba and ice first and then put the match to the top? I asked a friend of mine from Taiwan about this place and she too said they were not good. I think it's a matter of time that they will go out out business. read more
