Had seen this place/sign in passing a bunch of times... it's in a very hidden area of the plaza so it's hard to remember to actually turn in. It's a cute typical boba place with a few tables. We went in and looked at a much more legitimate menu than other places, which was nice to see. We ordered a black sugar milk tea and a cream brûlée brown sugar tea. They ask about percent of sugar, again showing how legit a place should be. We asked for half sugar in the brûlée. We were excited to see exactly how this brûlée worked since the photo showed it to look so interesting! (See photos) Well we sure got our answer... she did flambé it, I even said I was a bit concerned and to my luck when I went to shake it... mine leaked all over. The cream was coming all down the sides, apparently the flambé burnt through and the lid didn't seal. So they went back and flipped my drink and handed it to me. I was expecting a drink to at least have the flambé flavor that was now gone. She said it didn't need to be remade. I was kind of shocked but ok... So it wasn't remade. It was so sweet it was like drinking a milkshake. Idk if they remembered the half that I told her when we got there... but that drink was not pleasant. Our other drink leaked a bit too, but not like the other, that was easy fix just to put a new top on. (Idk if that was the machine) still if I didn't shake it in the store I would have been on trouble. The brown sugar was ok. Nothing special. My only crazy thing I couldn't fathom was that I asked for napkins and she handed me paper towels from the dispenser machine over the sink... as if there were none? They also sell ice cream so I hope they have napkins for them! I would give them another shot. The brown sugar was good. I just wouldn't get anything fancy.

Something about Gong cha's tea that makes me finish the entire thing! Very clean store. Fast service and great tea. Pricing is a bit high - $7 for the cheapest size but that seems to be the norm now. My favorite to get here is the passionfruit green tea.

Gong Cha never disappoints, no matter the location. This Palm Springs, FL location was very clean, staff was welcoming and fast, along with cute decor! Plenty of parking in the lot and a few seating areas inside. I had the brown sugar milk tea with boba and my boyfriend had the taro milk tea with boba. The boba was fresh and squishy in both of our drinks and the taro wasn't overly sweet, but just right. The brown sugar boba had a bit of an aftertaste most likely due to a sweetener but still enjoyed it. Would love to come back to try more!

Wow! Can't believe they opened a gong cha so close to me! I was in the same plaza and noticed it. I wish it was decorated more aesthetically but the tea was good. I ordered a purple sweet potato milk black tea with black pearl and grass jellies. I didn't realize that there was a charge for each topping. The first topping is usually free at most bubble tea places but now I know. You can tell the tea is freshly brewed instead of a powdered mix. It's really nice to have a bubble tea near me!

Love how you can choose your own milk the boba is delish. Not really much of a place to enjoy your drink because their chairs are super uncomfortable and metal. Their taro boba is so delish I enjoy mine with oat milk.

I attended their grand opening when I saw it on Facebook. They had lion dancers & gave a small discount for the second tea. I like the cleanliness & varieties of bobas. The best part is you get to choose your sugar level! I'm trying to cut back on my sugar intake & this allows me to sort of have my cake & eat it too. I highly recommend the mango smoothie with black boba or the taro tea with grass jelly. My only complaint is the same as the first reviewer that you get charged extra for boba or if you want no ice it's $1 extra.

The place is aesthetically pleasing and the staff is very nice. I ordered the strawberry taro milk tea and it was delicious! I had light ice and 70% sugar. I've never had this mixture before and it is definitely worth a taste. Loved it!

    Thumbs up.

Happy to know there is Gong cha open near me . So good and doesn't even taste like just water like other Milk tea place . Will for sure come back

I ordered the QQ Passion fruit Green Tea with 30% sugar. It's wayyy too sweet that I even had to go back, to ask for another cup. My boyfriend ordered the Lemon Aiyu 100% sugar, mine was even sweeter than his. First of all, I asked the staff which fruit tea have REAL fruit. She (the Asian short hair girl) confidently said that: Passion fruit, Strawberry & Mango - it turns out 100% syrup! = False advertising!!! Second, once I'm back, telling them that the tea was too sweet, she said the one I ordered is usually sweeter than the rest. You should let the customers know ahead of time. Third, she's not friendly at all. 2 cups, 1 sip, paying $8/cup including tip. Not worth it!

whenever we go to the area, gong cha is the go-to boba spot. the texture boba is the best in florida--and i've tried almost than a lot of boba in florida. the boba is perfectly qq (taiwanese term for "bouncy and chewy") and their service is always wonderful. the one thing though: their teas are quite sweet. i'm not sure if it's just the drinks i ordered the past two times (lychee and peach with creme brûlée foam), but even after ordering 50% sweetness for my peach drink (i forgot to on the lychee lol) it was still too sweet for my taste. on another hand, i have scoured boba shops for TORCHED crème brûlée on my drinks and after ages, i finally found it. crème brûle foam is basically milk foam but with sugar on top that's torched. it checked all the boxes on my fairly high expectations. highly recommended boba place to go. too bad it's not closer to where i live :(

The worst service ever! I came first the gave my order to the other person and they gave me the wrong order.

The worst service ever! I came first the gave my order to the other person and they gave me the wrong order. Then the girl who took my order insisted that I order this drink like wtf! I fucking know what I ordered.

I ordered the country morning breakfast which had two eggs either two bacon, sausage or ham. Grits or potatoes and toast. 1/2 biscuit & country gravy. Still delicious as I remember!!! The hash brown casserole was worth the calories and it was the highlight of my meal. I will skip the bread pudding next time and try a slice of one of their homemade pies or cakes. Great food and prices in a casual country style restaurant. Highly recommend.

The place is a little funky--in the most charming way--with local art on the walls and a laid-back vibe. The food is baseline for a diner. It's nothing special, but it is mostly acceptable and the ambience truly does all of the heavy lifting for this restaurant. The last three times I went the service is just despicable really. You look around and most people have their food and there's maybe two or three tables that need to either order or still receive their food and you sit there and you don't even get a drink order taken for literally 15 minutes which was my experience the last time I went, we were sat by the hostess, who quickly returned to the host stand to just stand there, and we waited for our waitress to get our drink order and it took over 15 minutes for anyone to come, and the only reason they came is because we got up and asked if we were going to get seen by anyone. And being that the service was so incredibly slow and lackadaisical the last few times I timed how long it took for me to get my food and it took 47 minutes for them to deliver a turkey club and a Philly. And the time before the most recent time I was there for breakfast and it took them over an hour to bring the food out, and they did NOTHING about it. Which really was the most shocking part I am in the Restaurant industry myself and there are things that are objectively right and there are things that are objectively wrong and something wrong happened and they had nothing to say for it except sorry. The poor young guy behind the counter on the way out was throwing himself under the bus as if the whole Restuarant is on his shoulders meanwhile our waitress had nothing to say drop the check off and just moved on in spite of the fact that I took the time to communicate that I was very disappointed by the extremely long wait time and the club I had on this occasion had rotten tomatoes in it that I couldn't even remove from my sandwich because they were basically mush but it's kind of like the perfect situation for them because I'm so hungry at this point after waiting so long that I do my best to remove it and my waitress is nowhere to be seen so it's not like she's gonna hear about it until she drops the check off. So basically long story short if you're in the market for mediocre food, extremely slow service and a somewhat interesting ambience and you have about three hours on your hands Howleys is the spot for you! I'm all down for the hipster vibes and I know subculture tends to lean on that but I think that they really gotta understand that they're not too cool to care about giving good service and and checking that their produce is fresh. It's such a great location and if they can't run this restaurant the way it should be maybe they should consider selling it to somebody who cares more. Having mini golf out front doesn't make up for the fact that you need to take care of people. Also, don't look in the spout of the creamer tin... Yelp I guess likes pictures so pictured below is the root beer float that took 30 minutes to come after we finished eating. I come here all the time and I really wish they would just do better. I literally just come for the ambience, but imagine if this place actually ran well and you didn't have to suffer waiting or picking at your food! Think about it! Also if you're the manager I don't need your phone number or some kind of vip service next time I go! I just need regular good service! The kind that every customer should go in there and be able to expect!

The restaurant is located in a plaza, so parking was easy and convenient. From the outside, the restaurant looks adorable. Once inside, it's a bit smaller than expected, but still charming. My biggest issue was how close the tables were to one another. I genuinely felt like I was having breakfast with the families seated on either side of us. The tables were so close that I could have reached over and grabbed something off their plates if I wanted to. It made the experience feel cramped and lacking in privacy. The service was decent and our food was just okay. I ordered the French toast, which I enjoyed and thought was pretty good. My boys both ordered pancakes and complained that they were dry and needed a lot of syrup--we actually had to ask for extra syrup to make them more enjoyable. My husband's hash browns were overcooked, while mine were undercooked, so consistency seemed to be an issue. That said, we made the best of it and still enjoyed spending time together. While this wasn't a place that wowed us enough to return, I'm glad we took the chance and tried somewhere new. Sometimes that's part of the fun of exploring local restaurants.
