I was pretty disappointed with my experience at Keke's in Wellington. My whole family received their food and started eating while I was still waiting for mine. I ordered pancakes, and it took about 11 extra minutes after everyone else had already been served before my food finally came out. It wasn't a huge delay, but it was frustrating sitting there watching everyone else eat while I had nothing. When you go out to eat with family, you expect the meals to come out together so everyone can enjoy it at the same time. The food itself was fine once it arrived, but the timing of the service really took away from the experience. Because of that, we'll probably consider trying First Watch next time instead. read more

My husband and I stopped at Keke's for the first time, and it was a great experience. I joined the waitlist through Google Maps and once we arrived, we waited less than five minutes to be seated. The place was a bit crowded, but it was a Saturday morning. Despite that, the ambiance was great--lively and energetic, but not so loud that it interrupted any conversations at our table. Service was excellent, and the food was great as well. I do have to warn about the pancakes--they are humongous! My husband's order came with three, and he couldn't even finish one because of how large they were. Came in on a Sunday around 11:30 for brunch with my mom and brother and got sat fairly quickly. We got seated in KJ's section (Katlin) and she was super attentive to us. She got us coffee and got our order in immediately. She came by to check on us plenty but made sure to also give us our space. She even offered to top off my iced coffee so I could take it to go! For years I've wanted to dine at Keke's Breakfast Cafe; however, it is quite the drive for me being I reside at the North end of the County. I happened to be in the neighborhood last Saturday to run a 5K so we coordinated a post 5K and birthday breakie here. I had my eyes set on the Florida pancakes having seen a photo online and being a lover of all flapjacks. OMG, these pancakes are LIT! These larger than life flapjacks are loaded with fresh banana slices, blueberries, and strawberry slices. I omitted the powdered sugar but dusted on the top is an option. I selected a combo and upgraded the pancake option. I opted for scrambled eggs well done and turkey sausage links. Nothing disappointed and all came to the table as ordered. We were a group of 4 and none of us experienced any issues. Our meals were superb and the service was excellent. This is a great place for breakie and it lived up to the hype. We went to Keke's around 10:30 or 11am on a Friday. and this was my first time eating at Keke's. There was no wait. Our waiter, Matthew, was excellent. I got a Belgian waffle with glazed strawberries, whipped cream and a side of fresh strawberries (extra). It came with butter and a piece of an orange. I also got a side order of home fries. The waffle was slightly overcooked, but I thought it was good. The home fries are made with onions and tasted delicious. Overall, good experience and would return. read more

Not Happy today, we have been sitting here for 25 minutes and no food! We are here all the time and today, not a good day!! The server Paul is very nice but can not give us an answer when our food is coming out!! The experience was not a very good one after being visited by the manager a few times he just kept saying he was sorry he was sorry he was sorry with no results. It was another 15 minutes before the food came out and it did not come out properly at all! The orders were not complete and I never got my food. Finally 10 minutes after my family got their food and their order was not complete. If the manager knew something was wrong he should've corrected it in the beginning or at least communicated to the Patrons that were there I will not be back for a while.! read more

I tried Keke's for the first time this Sunday. It was very busy and I was anticipating a wait but my party of 2 was seated immediately. The restaurant has a diner feel and fast, friendly service. We both ordered Cafe Combos. He had French toast and I had a blueberry pancake. We had scrambled eggs and bacon with our combos and added sausage, home fries, and sliced tomatoes on the side. Everything was very good. My pancake was divine. I loved every bite. I did think the orange juice was huge! But that's a good thing because I usually have to order two at other places. I know Keke's could have been 5 stars had we not had a few issues. Pros: - Great menu selection for breakfast or lunch with something for everyone. Eggs, breakfast bowls, pancakes and French toasts with various flavors, and their fresh orange juice and coffee is delicious. - Ample seating. Even with a busy crowd, we still were sat right away. - Food was fresh and came out quickly. I loved the fresh breakfast potatoes. Cons: - the worst part: egg shells in my omelet. Don't get me wrong, this meal was delicious. However, the unwelcome and unexpected grit and sandy texture of the eggshells I bit into absolutely ruined my appetite. - we had no idea who our server was. We had 2 tables on either side of us get serviced while we waited over 10 minutes for ours to come. Someone only came once they noticed the confusion on my face when I looked at both sat after us being waited on. He told us he wasn't our server but was kind and took good care of us. - service to check on us was slow. Food came out quick and we only saw who we believe was our actual server twice. She acknowledged she had no idea what our order was and asked if we needed anything. We saw her again only when she dropped the check off. Tried to like Kekes but couldn't. When I first walked in with my family there was no host but so many staff members walking back and forth. At one point two hosts stood to the side staring at us and talking. After about 5 minutes, one of the hosts came over and sat us down. We waited about 10 minutes before my aunt got up and asked someone if we could have a waiter take our drink order. At this time there weren't many tables full so we were very confused as to why the service was so slow. We also overheard the table next to hours complaining about the service and how long they had to wait as well. My aunt and cousin complained that their food had hardly any flavor and they took forever to bring my aunt he single pancake out even though the rest of my family and I had our full meals. We visited Keke's this morning and overall had a great experience! Even though it was very busy, the food was exceptional and our server was wonderful--she was kind, attentive, and had great energy that made us feel welcome. The only downside was at the front of the restaurant. We had to wait for a table, which was expected on a busy morning, but during that time we noticed the host interacting with several customers in a way that came across as unfriendly and unkind. She didn't greet us warmly and spoke to others in a similarly unpleasant tone. Since the host is the first point of contact, it made the initial experience less inviting. A more welcoming approach at the front would really match the quality of the food and service inside. read more

We have not been to Keke's in about 3 years, not because of any deficiency in their food or service, just not much for eating breakfast away from home. On this visit we were served by Katherine who was a delightful host. While my wife had a traditional breakfast, I chose the chicken and waffle. The waffle was light and airy. The fried chicken tenders were ok. It was accompanied by a mound of whipped cream and a side of a spicy syrup. This syrup had an artificial taste that did nothing for the dish. Do not go here for lunch- will never know about the breakfast because we will never go back. Got there at 2- they close at 2:30. Ordered right away since it was 30 minutes from closing. Food took 25 minutes to come out. How is that possible because the place was empty- My hot sandwich arrived cold and less than warm side order of fries. Sandwich also came out with incorrect bread- they were out of sausage and no tea for refills- the server said someone already threw it out. Asked the server about the scant amount of fries- Manager- Chris came over- clearly annoyed- and said he was not sure if anyone told us but they weigh their side orders of fries. Um why would we know that and why would anyone tell us that??? The response seemed like I was not the first to mention the serving size. The wait staff was cleaning their sections beside us- Chris the manager seemed like he made the wait staff stand beside him while he inspected the sections. Super weird and wait staff seemed uncomfortable- was drill sergeant like. Does anyone need to see that awkwardness?? No. Here is the take away- we drove 30 minutes from WP to especially go there. Have been wanting to go for a while. So disappointed. Management should treat every single person like they drove a while to get there and try their best to satisfy their possible repeat customers. 1. It was full, we had to be placed in line supposedly 20 mins. Exactly 47 minutes passed and we wondered what happened. Turns out, the hostess skipped our turn 3 times. We just thought it was because of the amount of people not the fact that she skipped us. I don't understand why she was having attitude towards everyone, giving them bad looks and talking with a bothered tone. 2. The waitress was a SWEETHEART, we loved her. She was very attentive and always kept on top of all tables even tho she was overstimulated and overloaded with work. 3. The food was FIRE .
