He makes promises he never keeps, will never call anyone back as he says he will, never replies to a phone inquiry after leaving a message on his voice recorder. The workmanship out of his shop is inferior. i.e. parts not replaced, bolts, screws, clips, etc. missing. Says he will replace items then refuses to engage in the process to repair as he said he would. His shop is in complete disarray and it's a wonder anything can ever be found and probably the reason parts are missing from his repair work. He has kept my vehicles for up to 6 weeks and the work performed only lasted a few days. He tries to run a business of this intense labor demand but refuses to hire anyone to relieve some of the work load. If you consider having any work done at this shop I'd think twice or be ready for any or all of the above to happen.

I was gifted a truck from my elderly father, who only takes his vehicles to this shop and serviced…read moremy truck here. After a couple of months of having the truck, we spent about $4,000 to have a number of things fixed that should not have been nearly as bad: 1. The check engine light came on, because of a failing O2 sensor. This sensor had last been replaced by Salisbury Tire, and they had clearly not put anti-seize on the threads (absolutely necessary). This made it impossible to remove the sensor without also having to replace the catalytic converter, another $1600 on top of an otherwise $40 sensor replacement. 2. Turns out the O2 sensor itself hadn't failed yet, but the issue was from wiring further up. Additionally, the main wiring harness bundle (includes sensors, main power and grounding wires, system-critical stuff) was not properly fastened during a previous repair (also confirmed to have been done by Salisbury Tire), and was instead resting on the EGR pipe (which gets VERY hot). The wires were being melted through slowly, and I'm lucky we caught this issue before it had caused a much worse failure. According to my father, instead of paying for vehicle service each time he takes them in, he pays them a monthly payment. All of his vehicles always have the check engine light on, and they tell him that it "doesn't mean anything, don't worry about it." Years ago, he even had a tire that fell off of one of his cars while he was driving on the road. I have another family friend who also had one of his tires fall off his car after going to Salisbury. They take advantage of my father, who is elderly and therefore does not have the best judgment of who is trying to scam him. This review is so long because it is long overdue. After years of my father going to this shop, my family now refers to any scammy auto shop as a "Salisbury Tire."

I talked with a young guy with a short beard who came out and put their beat to hell scanner on my battery, he basically ordered me to get into my car and start it, run the motor at 1500-2000 rpm then let it idle, turn on high beams, turn AC on high, turn off the motor. Rude, rude, rude! He handed me a print out from the scanner that said the charging system was fine, however he said it was not. I followed him in the store where he talked to an older guy behind the counter, who I overheard say that I needed to "learn to listen." I approached and said to him, if my battery did not have a defective cell it would have taken a charge. He reluctantly said he would replace it this time but never again. He took a black sharpie and wrote on the replacement battery receipt "NO RETURN." FYI a full charged battery at rest should read 12.75 volts. I have been a loyal customer of this store ever since it opened. You have lost me to "The Auto Zone" at Cosby Village where they treat people with respect and kindness. No the customer is not always right, but in this case I was 100% correct. To these rude men, I have turned more than a few wrenches in my 72 years!
