When I got the pants back, there were press lines indicating they had been cleaned. I tried the pants on, they were noticeably smaller, close to skin tight. I brought them back and explained to the lady this was the exact reason I did not want them cleaned nor ironed as the wash instructions for the pants explicitly stated to not do so. When I asked for a refund, she scoffed and acted like I was crazy. She told me there was no way that the cleaning/ironing process could ever shrink my pants. Went in to get some uniform pieces altered. At first the lady was nice and quoted me $90 for 3 pcs. I thought it was expensive but I needed it done. One pc was a vest and needed 2 darts in the back. She said she would do it and never did. My pants didn't fit the way I wanted it and I asked for her to re do it. She tried to tell me how to wear my uniform. I said I know what makes me comfortable and I would like you to fix it. She had an attitude and immediately was upset. I finally got my pants back today. 2 weeks later. They never called me to say it was ready. I haven't even tried on the pants but if it's not the way I want it I will go somewhere else. It was my first time going to this place to get my five pairs of pants hemmed when I asked the lady how much it will cost me she replied $14 a pair, so I agreed to it when I start paying with my card she said it will cost me an extra dollar so I paid in cash she gave me $5 short of my change I asked her if she charged me for tax she said "No, it's $15 a pair". I took my son's blazer in for drycleaning. First time visiting. Lady charged me $9.25 or $9.50, can't remember. I had cash (unusual for me) and she commented that cash is preferred, which is fine - I paid cash. She took my money, and that was it. I asked if I needed a ticket, she said no, that a phone number is enough. A few days later, my husband went to pick it up. I did not know until today that she charged him again! What the heck? I dropped off my leather jacket first time after I purchased a few years ago at Neiman Marcus. The leather jacket cleaning price they were asking was reasonable and the female owner was friendly. I went back to the cleaner a month after to realize the jacket wasn't ready. I was told that it would be ready in a few days, but I didn't trust the promise this time, and called a month after to be sure that it was ready. The owner apologized that my leather jacket was discolored. I wanted to cry as it was one of the most favorite jackets I have ever owned and it cost more than 1k. The owner wanted to recover the customer relationship and even offer the amount I paid for. With knowing how hard to run small business pandemic, I asked less amount than he was willing. HORRIBLE. Dropped off my dress that needed simple hemming done. They told me it would be ready in 3 days. Even let me know that they were going to charge me $35 in total. I came back in three days and they had not even touched it. They said their normal lady quit so they can't do hem work. I asked why she took my dress knowing they were not going to fix it and the response I got back was " I don't know my boss told me to take it maybe you can try somewhere else". Tried this cleaners as it's difficult to find a good one in town. Looks like I will continue looking for a good cleaner. Dropped off five articles of clothing, had to get two redone as one black dress came back with white stripes and a pair of orange pants had spots on them that weren't on them prior to. Completely an inconvenience as I had to return. When I asked for a discount as it wasn't done correctly the manager denied as they were "Better" the second time. They should have been cleaned correctly the first time as that is expected from the customer. 3 weeks later, finally wore the orange pants and they SHRUNK 5inches, not even exaggerating!!! I was so pissed when I put them on. They are anthropology pants, which are super expensive! I am 5'10 and they fit perfectly with 4 inches heels, now I have to wear flats and they are still and inch shorter than the floor. These pants are completely ruined!!! read more

So I gave this place a try because of the positive reviews. I took in 16 pairs of dress pants...yes one six (I love cloths) and charged $4.05 each. Although the pants were all nicely pressed, they were all substantially full of lint all over! I have a cat and I've never gotten that much fur from her on my pants with one snugly hug! I have been a repeat customer with Good Day Cleaners over the last couple of years. My uniform for work is what I need dry cleaned on a regular basis, and I always request for next day pick up. I dropped off a few items and a scarf. I was assured by the owner that everything will be ready the next day after 5pm. When I went to pick up, a lady told me that she did not have my scarf. She told me their driver already dropped off the cleaned clothes for the day and will be back in the morning. I let her know that the scarf is part of my uniform, and without it I'm unable to work. The reason I chose Good Day was because I'm always able to receive my items the following day. She said that I should have gotten everything back especially because all my clothes have red tickets tagged on them, which means priority. She let me leave with the rest of my uniform and told me to come back first thing in the morning. I received a phone call almost an hour later because she said she found my scarf. I had to go back the next morning right before work to pick it up. The owner was there and did not apologize for the inconvenience. I understand people make mistakes, and acknowledging them is one step closer to resolving the issue. He tried to charge me for the scarf as well. It's not the the amount of money, it's the PRINCIPAL he should understand. He deducted the $4 from my bill after I explained why I should not have to pay for it, but I will never return. read more
