Good Dough lives up to its name. The dough is so good and reminiscent of fresh Challah bread. They were a little disorganized. I was expecting more of typical bakery set up with a few in every flavor, but the donuts are instead released in large batches. When we arrived, there were only 2 flavors available. I guess this is good though, because it means things are moving quickly and inventory is fresh. I was hoping for a matcha or something chocolate, but the raspberry and a strawberry were the only options when we arrived. Fresh batches were coming out, and a few more flavors became available as we were ordering. The iced chai latte was on point. 5 stars all around. Pricier, but worth every bite. I should mention I am not a donut fan at all, but something about these donuts just tasted so fresh, home-baked, and almost, dare I say-- wholesome? At least as wholesome as a diabetes-inducing confection can be! read more

So so so good. Jacksonville was in need of something like this. We recently had the s'mores doughnut with meringue... delicious. The caramel brûlée was just as mouth watering. The vibe here is great. The employees are always pleasant and the environment is pretty cool. You can watch the bakers do their magic through the glass window in their kitchen. After seeing all of the social media hype about Good Dough, we decided to drive an hour and try it out. I love supporting small businesses so I applaud their efforts for making a place for locals to get homemade donuts. The inside is light and airy and I enjoyed the minimalist decor. We ordered 6 doughnuts for a total of nearly $18. I felt that the prices were high and the doughnuts were nothing special. I wanted to love them but my family ordered 4 different flavors and all of them missed the mark. For a $3 doughnut, I expected freshness, decadence and a feeling of euphoria. This is another cute, but crazy expensive little shop in San Marco. I got the matcha donut (old fashioned cake donut with "matcha" frosting) and a small coffee and it came out to over $5. The donut was a little too sugary for my taste - even though I have a huge sweet tooth - and the coffee was your average, run of the mill, drip. However, I don't mean to be too critical - it was good! If you're looking for a sugar fix, or you want a really artsy Instagram, this is the place to go! read more

Living just a mile from San Marco Square, I was beyond excited to fin out that Good Dough was open! I can here today for a sweet breakfast bite before doing Saturday errands, and holy cow these doughnuts are, wait for it...the most amazing doughnuts I've ever had! So fluffy and lift, I ordered the chocolate pistachio and the brown sugar and of course a cold glass of milk. Wow, the flavors, the balanced sweetness was off the charts! It was perfectly glazed without being overly sweet and not oily. Whatever their recipe is, it's amazing. The are other variations of the doughnut offered, you can get a doughwich, a sought its sandwich, the popular one is the fried chicken which looked incredibly delicious. I'm keeping that on my running list of things to try next time I come. So for anyone in the area or not in the area, this place has amazing doughnuts, it's a good offering to bring to work to get your coworkers to like you more! read more

I'm so glad we have a local doughnut store other than Dunkin' doughnut! I had latte here and some doughnuts. Coffee was great and doughnut as well! There is a toy kitchen and lego table for little ones which I think is the best thing ever!!! read more

Tried this place out for the first time yesterday! So delicious! Their kEy lime donut is a must try! We also had the bill Murray and the rasberry cheesecake donut! When they first opened I was amazed at the flavors the doughnuts had. A year or so later, not so much but it's still pretty good! They are sometimes packed in the morning so I call in my order and they are so friendly! They have happy hour in the morning so I get a doughnut for free. Went with my kids as a start of summer break treat...I mean, who doesn't like doughnuts?! They did a great job with the buildout. Clean lines, white tile, looks great! The staff was friendly. Taste, this is where we lose a star. We had both a raised and a cake doughnuts. The raised we found a bit dry. The cake was like a good chocolate cake, but even my 7 year old found it too heavy and only ate half. The sea salt caramel topping had great flavor. The brown butter glaze was just too thick and too sugary sweet for my taste. I found myself scraping it off just to try and finish it. I've been dying to try this place and it did not disappoint. When they posted that they were serving up grilled cheese doughnuts with tomato soup I knew I needed to venture over. The serving was small for $6.50 but worth it because it was soooo good. I also got the brown butter doughnut for dessert and it was perfection. Lots of thick icing and the doughnut part was light and fluffy, not oily like some doughnuts. I was so excited to visit Good Dough. I love sugar. I was getting my hair done at my incredible stylist right around the corner and they had a box of these donuts. They looked incredible. I finally visited and ordered a hot tea - one of the specials - yummy and ordered 6 donuts to bring home. I tried the bacon maple, salted caramel and a cookies and cream / oreo something, a vanilla, a chocolate and I cant honestly remember the last one. WOW the toppings are amazing, they look beautiful. Cute little bakery in San Marco. I'm gonna keep this brief. I did not care for the doughnuts I did not like the texture at all. This is my personal preference when eating a doughnut I like it to be doughy. This reminded me of the texture doughnuts get when they are stale. However the fried chicken doughnut sandwich was amazing. Sadly I burnt my tongue when I bit into the sandwich because the grease coming from the chicken was extremely too hot. I wish they would have allowed the chicken to cool a bit before serving it to me. I've really really tried to like this place. I have been 3 times and have had 2-Star worthy experiences each visit. They always run out of donuts on weekends so the sleep-in crowd misses out and the service is extremely slow so don't be in a hurry. They had 1 person running the register and making the coffees with a long line. During one of my visits, I ordered an ice coffee and they told me they were out. Don't know how that happens but ok? I tried a little of each and let my family have the rest. My favorite overall was the brown butter, it was sweet and creamy with a little bit of saltiness.
