It was bold rich and delicious. Their baked goods looked amazing but I'll have to try those on the next visit which will be soon. The staff were very polite, very informative and extremely helpful. Inside was a great chill vibe with relaxing music playing in the background and it's a fantastic place to get coffee, hang out or do some work. There are several coffee spots in the Riverside/Avondale area and Bold Bean is one of the best. If you're a coffee fan, Bold Bean is a must if you're in the Riverside area.

Love me some Good Dough! I tend to like their cake or old-fashioned style doughnuts better, but I've had a few of the raised flavors that have been just as good. Love that they change up the menu every month and there's always interesting and artisan flavors to try. Probably my favorite thing they serve is their fried chicken doughwich. Run, don't walk - my mouth is watering just thinking about it! It's simply the best and there's no comparison. Their avocado doughwich and lattes are all exceptional as well. I love that they have a permanent pop-up location in the Town Center, but if they could build a full-service store like the one in San Marco one where I live in St. Johns County, they would just take all of my money. read more

Whenever I want to ease my mind, this coffee shop will always be my safe haven. The smell of brewed coffee brings comfort to me. The staff is also nice and very accommodating that they always treat us not as their customers but as a friend. The desserts and pastries they serve are the best in town. Delicious and innovative doughnuts. Friendly staff. Amazing coffee. What more could you ask for? The menu changes monthly with a few regular flavors always offered. The doughnuts are a brioche style dough which lends a rich flavor with a slight chew. The shop is clean, modernly styled, and welcoming. This is the most racist establishment I've encountered in Jacksonville. They are rude and arrogant. They expect generous tips on take outs and make it evident that if you don't tip at least 20 percent for a take out they don't want you as a customer. Went here after an early appointment with my wife for some coffee. Turned into a romantic breakfast with cappuccinos, ham egg and cheese doughnut sandwiches, and a few to good to turn down doughnuts. The donuts are always amazing, the coffee is some of the best in Jax and their Matcha is the best in Jax. Also the customer service is always on point. Plus it's beautiful and clean.
