Pear and Goat Cheese Salad topped with Seared Salmon
    Shenna W.

For a first time, I would have to say I walked away very impressed. Parking within the parking deck, it's a short walk away (via the elevator). We came around 4:30pm, just after the brunch crowd - missing the larger parties and hustle. Well light and clean - I was ready to enjoy our evening. It was quiet with plenty of seating. I have to say Tori was a joy! She provided so much insight to the restaurant, the food, the drinks, and overall just a pleasure to talk to! The menu was simple but provided flavorful choices to choose from - even with someone like me with a few allergies. I will note: the fries as fried in the same grease as the crab cakes - something to take note of. I decided on the Pear and Goat Cheese salad topped with Salmon. It was so fresh and packed with good flavor. The salmon was perfectly cooked as well. I will definitely come back when in the area.

Adorable brunch spot in the North Hills area. There's a parking deck close by with 2 hours free. The restaurant is modern and lively. Our waitress was excellent - so kind and patient with us. I ordered a matcha latte which tasted good. The avocado tartine was done very will, the sourdough was a star player and their olive oil was so flavorful. I also ordered a cinnamon roll to go and was actually disappointed when I opened it - borderline burnt with no Ooey gooey middle that I love. Not sure if this was a one off but it was a bummer to spend $10 on! I would love to come back here to try the other menus.

Hollllly moly! So delish!! The biscuit and jam was the best I've had in my entire life. Service was quick, and so friendly. The vibe of the restaurant was very chic but in a way that made you feel at home and like you could stay all day! Highly recommend.

3 stars because the interior is cute and the coffee was good. Food was honestly 2 stars. I had high hopes because the menu has great items but the execution just wasn't there. Homemade biscuit was extremely dry- didn't eat half of it. The giant cinnamon roll looked great, but arrived stale and at room temperature. Won't be back to eat, but the coffee was good and cocktail menu looked interesting. Service was good.

Went in right before they started dinner service (dinner starts at 4pm). Waited a bit and then ordered the special of the day which was the short rib gnocchi. The pasta was perfect but the flavor was a little bland. Their "Up to no Good" spicy margarita was delicious, I had two. Service was friendly, they have indoor and outdoor seating. It can be a little complicated to find but your best bet is parking in the attached garage and taking the elevator to the main floor where all of the shops are.

I had a little trouble finding the restaurant at first based upon my navigation directions. Once I saw the parking structure I decided to park there and walk over. The parking garage is free and is located near Good Grace's. The parking sign needs to be scanned to validate your parking for a limited time. The restaurant was pretty packed when I arrived during a midday lunch hour. The business was clean and bright. There is also a bar and market inside. I was greeted and seated right away when I entered. My server was friendly and the other employees that I engaged with were very attentive and helpful during my visit. I enjoyed my chicken salad sandwich and the fries even though my fries were warm & not hot. They were seasoned well. I loved the combination of the pickled onions with lettuce and tomato on my sandwich. When I first got my sandwich it didn't have the pickled onions on it. An employee (manager) checked on me as she was walking by and I asked her about the onions and she said she would check and make it over if needed. I thanked her and told her that she could just bring them out and she did. The sandwich came with a side salad even though it wasn't listed on the menu. The brownie & kale Cesar salad were also good. The salad was a nice portion size. The brownie was moist. After taking a few bites of the salad I noticed that there was a lot of lemon on the salad. After several bites it became a little too overpowering for my taste. I did like that the salad had chickpeas on it instead of croutons. After reviewing my receipt I noticed that what I was charged was different for a couple of prices than what's on the menu. I was advised that there was an increase in their pricing.

This was my third visit to Good Graces and I was excited to be back. The service is great, Charlie was our awesome server around lunchtime on a quiet Wednesday. Good Graces is a very cute restaurant, with a great vibe. It's bright, furnished well, cozy, comfortable and inviting. We all ordered the Chicken Salad sandwich because we had it before and loved it so much. We each decided to add bacon to our sandwich, and a side of French Fries. The French Fries were as good as I remembered from my last visit maybe 4 months ago, but the Chicken Salad has changed drastically. The consistency was different, it was runny. The taste was different, it was more peppery. I was disappointed. I work in the building adjacent and spoke to other colleagues who frequent here more, and they also said the Chicken Salad has changed drastically. My hot brown sugar latte was good.

We arrived for an early lunch and even though they were busy we were given a perfectly centered table for two. Tables are spaced apart and restaurant is super cute and cozy. Hostess was polite and seated us quickly. I ordered a latte and it came with a pretty design on top. It tasted delicious. I ordered the cinnamon bun and it was big enough to share. We got two pretty blue drained plates to share it on. Loved everything about restaurant from the kind courteous staff to the chill vibe. Will definitely return to eat other meals.

The biscuits were sent from heaven and the matcha was perfect. Serving sizes were pretty large and Addy was so kind and welcoming. The setting was lavish from the unique suede seats to the chandeliers, it felt clean and honestly like a breathe of fresh air. Also the location of Good Grace's was perfect.

Delicious BLT! Hearty, yet not heavy. Delicious, and crispy, and exactly what I was looking for. The restaurant is really pretty, modern, bright. Great place for a lunch or midday stop. The service was excellent, multiple people stopped by to see if I needed anything throughout my visit while I sat at the bar.

Good Graves service was great. Torey was very personable. Explaining the things to come and even allowed me to order a cocktail not yet on the menu. The Velvet75 was really good with a nice kick. I enjoyed the Winter Harvest Bowl with seared salmon. I really enjoy this. Very good! The roasted carrots, parsnips & turnips were unique and flavorful options to have in the bowl. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. I look forward to trying brunch or lunch one day in the future.

I'm not going to lie, I was a little skeptical coming here. I didn't see much on the menu that I would necessarily like and when we got there, the line was out the door. You order your food and then someone brings it to your table which isn't my favorite set up but was willing to give it a try. I ordered a turkey sandwich and fries with a drink ( I can't remember the drink name). I brought my own mustard packets because I wasn't sure if they had mustard and I NEED mustard on my sandwich, lol. Everything was DELICIOUS!!! I was very pleased! You can tell they use quality ingredients. I would definitely go back!!

    Egg sandwich and egg bites.

We came in on a Sunday, it was fairly busy but there is plenty of seating. The aesthetic is great, the chairs & decor is super cute. The pricing is okay, for a "cute" coffee shop experience it's what you expect. The staff was friendly, and the food was good. The egg sandwich was our favorite, the egg bites were a little dry albeit good. The coffee was ok, the cold brew has an interesting flavor (neither good nor bad) and the matcha tastes like any other matcha. I wish the cups sizes were bigger! Overall, a cute coffee shop with great decor and good food.

Iris Coffee Lab is where you bring the friend who can tell you the origin of a bean after one sip,…read morewho gets excited about extraction methods and tasting notes, and who genuinely believes coffee deserves the same reverence as a fine bottle of wine. Iris isn't trying to be trendy: it is unapologetically devoted to the craft. The interior reflects that philosophy. A restrained palette of white, charcoal, and soft gray keeps distractions to a minimum, allowing every cup to remain the focal point. It's clean, modern, and intentionally understated. If you're someone who typically reaches for cream and sugar, I'd encourage you to order at least one cup black. Iris sources and roasts exceptional coffee, and tasting it without distractions is the best way to appreciate the nuance and balance that have earned the café such a devoted following. That said, the seasonal menu is every bit as thoughtful. On this visit, I ordered the Mango Sticky Rice Matcha Latte, a drink layered with tropical sweetness, creamy matcha, and just enough complexity to keep each sip interesting. The final few sips, where all of the flavors settled together, were unexpectedly my favorite part. My brother-in-law chose Iris's signature blueberry-forward latte, while my niece ordered the house-made chai. Before she'd even finished half the cup, she looked up and declared, "This is the best chai I've ever had." Her father, after trying it himself, agreed without hesitation. The breakfast menu compliments the beverage program well, offering thoughtfully prepared dishes that feel every bit as intentional as the drinks. Like many destination coffee shops, Iris tends to attract people who settle in for a while. Laptops are open across nearly every table, conversations are minimal, and the room has the focused energy of a shared studio rather than a bustling café. Because of the open design, voices travel easily, making it a better place for quiet work than lively catch-ups. The café is meticulously maintained, including spotless restrooms that reflect the same attention to detail found throughout the space. Parking can require a bit of patience, though I've almost always managed to find a spot without too much trouble. Iris Coffee Lab isn't trying to appeal to everyone, and that's exactly what makes it special. It's a café for people who care about coffee, how it's sourced, brewed, and experienced. In a city with no shortage of coffee shops, Iris has carved out a distinct identity by putting craftsmanship ahead of trends, creating a destination that's as much about curiosity as it is about caffeine.

A Truly Artisanal Bakery…read more I rarely leave reviews on yelp anymore, but this bakery is so impressive, it inspired me to type this down. I'm from the Bay Area and loved going to all kinds of bakery when I travel. I did not have much expectations when I came to Raleigh. I tried Paul and Jack and couple other bakeries, they were all good, but not impressive. The first thing I noticed was their Mill Room, and second I noticed that they have 100 score on hygiene. Not that I care about the score that much but still impressive. Then We got a bunch of pastries, the shortbread was the first one we tried and wow, it was so simple yet so flavorful, truly malted tasting shortbread, it has so much depth in taste. Then I had a had a ham and cheese croissant, it was on the salty side but I kept eating it when I'm not even hungry. The true winner though, is the plain croissant I got which traveled with me for 72 hours back home. I got it out of my bag, slightly flattened by all my stuff, I expect it to taste flat and meh. I put it in the oven for 6 minutes and it turned out to be the best croissant I've had. It was flaky, soft and soo flavorful. Now I cannot stop thinking about it. Lastly, I want to say that with so many pop ups, new bakeries coming up in different cities, often times we were chasing that unique flavors, that special toppings on croissants, but Boulted Bread stayed true to bread, and perfected the craft without focusing on "exotic" or "special" flavors. I truly respect this.
