I've been here twice. The first time I was looking for a spot on a Saturday afternoon for a quick bite and the second time was on a Friday during lunch. It was crowded both times but the line moves quick and the service is fast! People come there with laptops to work, but I don't see how as it is very busy and noisy and crowded. They have patio seating in both the front and back with the front overlooking a busy parking lot and the back being adjacent to green space busy with families. The biscuit is the star of the show. It's very large and the egg and bacon I get along with are always well prepared. My latte the first time was better than my second trip, but still solid. I also Got the banana bread with chocolate chips. It was a great size and served warm upon request. I would come here for the food and coffee, but the ambiance may not be for everyone. read more

I had the pleasure of visiting Jubala with some friends a week ago, we had a great experience at this location. The staff was very nice and the inside clean- it was very packed on Saturday morning at 9am! I recommend being prepared to wait. The coffee is delicious, I had their seasonal offering which was a campfire latte, it was delicious. Chocolatey and perfectly sweet for my tastes! I don't know where to begin! A freezing, snowy morning drew me into this warm cozy little coffee shop, and WOW what a find! Opening the door, I was immediately hit with the aroma of fresh roasting coffee while looking to my right I saw the roaster humming as it's master worked the beans just so. The menu simple, and to the point. Clean ingredients, fresh roasted coffee, pastries, breakfast items, sandwiches and desserts. They have tea options too for those crazy people who don't drink coffee. I started with a latte, was blown away by their perfect latte art. The smoothness of the fresh, roasted bean and the warmth of a cinnamon sprinkle melted the ice from me. I have been visiting a few of my favorite places with my Mom in town and since a she's a coffee lover, I had to bring her here. She absolutely loved it! She tried a Maple Cream Coffee and raved about how creamy, smooth, and fresh it was. I had a hot latte with Smoked Sea Salt Caramel flavor this time and we both shared my highly recommended turkey avocado. My latte, yet again, was *Muah* amazing! We sat in the shop this time and service was pretty quick which is always a plus because we were READY for this experience. Perfectly placed in North Hills, this Jubala location is great for a post workout coffee or pre shopping biscuit. I went with a friend today after our workout. The line was long but quick. After I ordered it only took about 5 min for them to get my biscuit and coffee out to me. Same for my friend. As always the ham, egg, and pimento cheese biscuit was delightful. A little on the salty side, it pairs well with the sweetness of the iced caramel latte I ordered. An additional plus, there is plenty of seating inside and out. read more

We popped in after the big Oak City Run Club on Saturday! It was busy but they were able to keep the flow of people moving quickly. They have such a prime location! I ordered the biscuit sandwich with sausage, egg, and cheese. The biscuit was fluffy and a little heavy, but yummy! I did end up taking the sausage out because it was pretty rubbery, but the egg, cheese, and biscuit combo was amazing! Very interesting store in the middle of North Hills Midtown area. The store definitely had an Interrior designer and the outside seating on the sidewalk overlooks the Midtown Park. Toasted almond latte said it had notes of almond of course and cinnamon but it just tasted like a sweetened latte, bit of a miss (2.5/5) the milk they use must be high quality because it's almost like half/half consistency! The flavored drinks lean on the sweeter side so opt for half sweet if you don't want a sugar bomb. I got a plain biscuit just to try and it was surprisingly delicious! It has a honey / sweet undertone. Would come back but was expecting a better flavored latte I couldn't differentiate the flavor. Biscuit isn't a crumbly savory biscuit FYI. read more

I came here for lunch with my family. The cafe itself was pretty busy and loud but luckily we found a table. I ordered the turkey avocado sandwich and it was really good. It had a lot of flavor and the bread was nicely toasted. I also tried some of their chai latte which was delightful. Although I liked my meal, my sisters didn't like theirs because the bread on their sandwich was hard and cold. The food was pretty pricy too, so they were disappointed about that as well. Overall, I enjoyed the food and drinks, but they were pretty pricy so I don't know if I'd come back. Also, the side "salad" was just greens and nothing else. There's the typical order at the counter, take a number and be seated ordering process so nothing exciting there. The lady that took our order was really nice and helpful. We opted for country ham and cheese biscuit, toasted chipeas on toast and a honey latte. The honey latte and chickpeas on toast are worth going back for. The biscuits were good but I think everyone expects a little something different than what is served. I think it's a little bit of a cross between a plain scone and biscuit. The country ham and cheese biscuit was just okay. A little pricey for what it was. The chickpeas and toast was busting with flavors and very filling. There's not only toasted chickpeas but also tahini and olive oil. Both tasted very high quality. Overall, great experience and I'll probably go back today for the honey latte and chickpeas and toast. I've spent time at this coffee shop twice now and have had pleasant experiences. The chai tea is delightfully spicy with an excellent amount of foam. The frisee aux lardons salad is also excellent! They also have sandwiches, waffles, and other breakfast and lunch goods. My orders have come out quickly, delivered to my table. Bonus: they use real cups and plates unless you have a to go order. The space is modern, comfortable, and rather compact. The shop does get busy. Sometimes there's a line to order and wait to snag the next table. The coffee shop also roasts its own beans, adding a lovely aroma to the air. There is machine noise, which I think adds to the ambiance. Because of these last reasons, If you are looking for a quiet place, I'd suggest going elsewhere. There is limited parking right outside and a lot of space in the deck in the same building. Food: We ordered their Campfire Mocha and Sea Salt Caramel Latte. The Campfire Mocha was toasty, sweet, and tasted like an elevated hot chocolate. The Sea Salt Caramel Latte actually lived up to its name and was pleasantly salty. It was also creamy and not too sweet! Overall: Jubala's North Hills location is popular for a reason--the friendly atmosphere and nice selection of coffees make for a fun visit.
