In town for work, stopped in to get a real breakfast instead of the hotel slop. This place didn't disappoint. Ordered chicken fried steak and eggs with biscuits and gravy. A very generous cut of steak that was very tender and hand dipped then fried. Biscuits were moist, Eggs cooked over easy as asked. Hash browns were good also. The name says it all. There's 37 different types of gravy available! This isn't a fancy restaurant by any means but not a whole in the wall either. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Its definitely a country diner with good food, good service and atmosphere. If you're in the area its worth a stop. Be mindful that they are only open to 1pm. Recommend giving them a try. read more

Just a laid back Breakfast place that's been around for years. Seated In a booth with a very nice waitress . She was a large lady, came by several times to check on us. I ordered the Bacon omelet with Hashbrown and Biscut n gravy. Omelet seems alot smaller than I remember! Was plenty to eat since it came with biscuit. The Hashbrown was not really cooked enough so not crispy. The waitress brought me extra salsa which made it all good. The gravy is really good and I chose sausage from the list. Good Morning Good Gravy!! We were seated immediately upon arriving, at a booth that was reserved for us after calling to make a reservation. Joy was our server and took good care of us. If you are a coffee drinker, plenty of half and half, French vanilla, and hazelnut creamer upon request. We had the good gravy, Denver omelette, and waffle breakfast. The gravy choices are staggering. We came from Kentucky to visit relatives & see OKC for the first time. Wanted to check out Route 66 & at a good diner. Two biscuits you get two gravy and on the weekends they have special where you can get Italian sausage, Italian sausage, onions, and peppers. I did get the Italian sausage and added mushrooms. It was fantastic. The other gravy I got was the traditional sausage breakfast gravy, and it was really good flavorful not a lot of big chunks of sausage. The biscuits were big and flaky. What an amazing place! This is the type of place my grandparents would've taken me to when I was a kid. Everything smelled so good and I loved the meal that I had, The Good Gravy! My wife was also very excited because they had gluten-free pancakes. The ones that she was served were so big that she couldn't finish them all so she is looking forward to having leftovers. Cute little diner. Our server, Joy, was very sweet and attentive. The food was good! It was our first time here and we both ordered something different and an a la carte pancake. I got the stack and my husband got the breakfast at large. The servings are huge and my husband and I could've easily split his. The biscuit was fresh and soft on the inside while have that good buttery crisp on the outside. We both got the number 15 gravy which had onions, jalapeños and sausage. The gravy was great and the ingredients were fresh, (aka no canned pickled jalapeños here!). The pancake was spongy and soft and just a good diner pancake. What a fantastic breakfast experience! We tested out Good gravy on north Western this morning. We had rejected our usual breakfast haunts because of over grazing. Someone suggested we ought to try Good gravy. We were in luck and got a table immediately. Our waitress " Sarah" set a wonderful tone as she took our orders. Chicken fried steak, eggs Sunny side up, hash browns, biscuits and gravy, a Sooner omelet, with a side of sliced tomatoes. This was one of those rare breakfasts when everything was perfect. Food perfectly cooked, service perfect, quality of food perfect. We don't know if this was one of those kismet moments but Good gravy now ranks at the top of our breakfast destinations. We traveled from Houston for a graduation party, the next morning a few of us(11) wanted to get some breakfast, I googled a few places, called and asked for a wait time, Good Gravy was the only restaurant that seemed genuinely happy to take a large table in the middle of a graduation weekend breakfast rush. Something about a sweet southern woman's voice that just makes you feel at home, and when we got there it sure did feel like home! Told her we were the large table for Kayla and she turned to the staff and said "Kayla's here yall", right there I knew we were about to eat GOOD! Our waitress handled us with grace and answered all our gravy questions, our drinks stayed filled and our food was fresh and delicious. Toward the end of our meal my nephew started to have a moment(as a toddler does), we were walking out and a young lady(staff) quickly followed us and handed us a bag of cookies to try and ease little man. 8:30am I was driving down Western when I saw a teeny tiny shop with a sign that read "Good Gravy." Honestly the subtleness of the building was a huge indicator that I may have stumbled across a hidden gem. When I first walked in, I was instantly greeted, and the feeling of the establishment was a feeling of home. From the host to the servers to the bus boy, everyone was super friendly. The menu is super simple and your options for gravy go on and on. The food was amazing. The atmosphere was exactly what you want for a breakfast diner and you know a place that closes at 1 o'clock in the afternoon has got to be serving up some mean plates. I highly recommend. My husband and I decided to give this place a try and we were not disappointed. First of all, the name is perfection and just so homey - which fits the feel of this little diner. We arrived a little after 9, and the front section was already packed. The menu was simple, aside from the FORTY TYPES OF GRAVY . But don't worry - I prepped before coming so I knew what I wanted. Our waitress was just lovely. She was an absolute joy and gave great recs. The gravy she recommended wasn't even listed on the menu, so we HAD to go with it. I ordered the Stacked Breakfast and my husband ordered the Good Gravy. Both were solid and VERY filling. It happened to be my birthday, and at the end of our meal, our waitress brought out this apple tartlet situation that was to DIE for.
