I love a local spot in OKC. Spark has now 3 locations (I think) in the city. So happy they have a place in Nichols Hills, near Trader Joes and some shopping spots. Parking is great! I feel like I never wanted to go to Scissortail Park because of parking, so am thrilled this one is closer and has plenty of parking. Service was FAST. Employees were super kind and accommodating. I ordered my regular and was upset with myself for not trying their limited time, smashburger. My sister in law got it and it was FIRE. It's definitely kid friendly... I come here with my nieces because they have the queso and dipping fries in it. I have to say.. the queso is damn good! Music is good and pricing is reasonable! Definitely check it out and then go shop at Trader Joe's or other stores around the corner!

This was my first time in, but it definitely won't be my last. The restaurant is large and clean, which I love. There is also outdoor seating if you prefer, with a small little play area for kids. The food was delicious. The burger taste fresh, like a homemade burger. The fries, my daughter and I shared, but they could have been a meal on their own. I was surprised how quickly our food was ready. It wasn't super busy at the time, but our food came out about 7 minutes after we ordered. This is not a cheap restaurant, FYI. If you are looking for an affordable meal, this isn't it. I don't mind paying extra for quality food.

Fun, fresh, and downright tasty. The Spark Burger delivers juicy and comfort with a bright burst from the Spark sauce simple done right! The spot is clean and welcoming, with roomy seating and even a kiddo-friendly area outside. A great neighborhood go-to for a casual bite or quick burger fix.

Went on a weekday for lunch- there was no line and staff is very friendly. Great burger place! There's locations all over the city- I believe this is the newest one. Inside is fun and vibrant and the food is pretty good too. Great for groups and families! They also have alcoholic beverages.

How could the Spark in Nichols Hills have zero reviews? Proud to be the first! They have amazing burgers and desserts here, and the burger bowl I got was incredible as well as healthy! I also got a custard that was the flavor of the month (pistachio-almond I believe). The interior ambience is super-spacious with many tables, and they even have a park area outside. Service also was prompt and the servers bring out the food to you! Nice selection of beverages as well. Also ran into upcoming Federal Bar Association President and OCU Law Alum Emma Payne! Very highly recommended if you are in Nichols Hills!

Tasty burgers, Awesome counter service, fresh fast and hot food, tasty cocktails, wine on tap, what more could you ask for? Maybe ice cream? They got that too! The lavender ice cream was divine!

We checked out Spark hamburgers on 63rd Street this evening. A good solid burger very reminiscent of Five guys, or Smash burger. It comes with Spark sauce (ketchup, mayo, mustard). We opted for the sauce on the side. The Krinkel cut fries were standard, nothing special. The burgers themselves were very workman like hitting all the right notes. Be prepared for a bit of sticker shock. Two burgers, a small fries, and two drinks was over $20. Overall a tasty meal. Will we visit again, not soon. There are too many great burger places in the metro area that don't hight the wallet so hard.

The pink fries were way better than the bacon and cheese fries imo.

Good food, good service, a little pricey for what you get. Fun bright atmosphere. Would go back every now and then.

Just don't go here…read more I've lived here for 5 years and by far the worst restaurant experience I have had in Oklahoma, and if you see my other reviews I'm pretty forgiving and tend to give spots the benefit of the doubt. This is a place worth an absolute flaming of a review.... But they already wasted enough of my time and energy today so I'll just summarize. No management on scene, no hostess, one server, two bartenders and a restaurant at 50% capacity on Mother's Day at 1 p.m. From walking in to having our orders taken, 30 minutes. 45 minutes later our order of roasted vegetable salad, steak eggs Benedict, and sourdough toast arrived. Salad was very well burnt but my mom was trying to be nice and didn't want to walk out. Eggs Benedict came out with two eggs boiled through, a hollandaise sauce with a sour smell and cold steak. I didn't eat it and no one seemed to notice, had it removed from my bill easy enough, but again zero F's given and no management showed daylight. Wife's toast actually arrived 5 minutes after the 'rest' of the food and the only thing hot and delicious. Toast here is $11, so there's that. No one cares here. From the health violations and poor food safety I saw in the kitchen, the multiple tables I witnessed sending back food to the multiple parties puzzled as to why they weren't being sat or once they were entirely ignored... it was so wildly bad I was embarrassed for everyone else having the same experience. Again, don't go.

So the daughter and I headed on over to see if its still as good as I remember. Crab cake appetizer. You only get 1 but it had some great flavor with the remoulade sauce. The only negative was the tiny pieced shell in the crab cake. Unfortunately thats almost a given for fresh pulled crab meat. Farm salad was very fresh and had a great dressing. I believe it was a white balsamic vinaigrette. I ordered the ribeye,With garlicky spinach. The steak had great flavor. I wish it would have been more tender. But overall, the cut of steak was really good. My daughter ordered the New York strip with fingerling potatoes. The way she demolished that steak tells me that she was hungry and that it was delicious. Naturally, we ordered the whiskey cake for dessert and it did not disappoint. It was everything I remembered. From the spiced pecans to the bourbon cream sauce. I hope to stop by before I leave town and get another one for the road!

Their menu has some core offerings that don't really change, along with other items which are seasonal based on whatever ingredients are available locally. Most things served in the restaurant are made in-house from scratch and those ingredients are sourced locally in Oklahoma which I find to be pretty awesome! Their burgers are delicious, so its extremely hard for me to come here and order something other than that, but I have still been impressed when I have ordered other types of entrees. Lastly, you have to try their whiskey cake at LEAST once. I'm weird about my desserts and only eat one type of cake, one type of pie, one type of ice cream, etc... well, I have make an exception for cake. The only type of cake I eat is regular white cake w/ buttercream icing, but I had to create a lone exception for Whiskey Cake's whiskey cake.

I finally made my way here tonight before a work get together and initially I enjoyed the space and atmosphere. It is very cozy and intimate, and there are not many bars like it in OKC. However, when it came to the bartenders (two from my interaction) and cocktails -- my experience was less than cozy. Long story short, I asked for an espresso martini, a basic drink I know. And I was told as such by both bartenders working, one of which called me 'boring'. They wanted me to try a drink off their menu, and I respect the pride and effort this business put into crafting unique, holiday cocktails. However, none of them spoke to me tonight, and I wanted a run of the mill espresso martini. One bartender asked if I would be willing to try one of their drinks similar to an espresso martini, to which I agreed, however I still did not enjoy and requested a regular (boring and basic) espresso martini. They said they typically avoid making these popular drinks, but made an exception for me. Which is really unfortunate, because it was one of the best espresso martinis I've had in the city. Both bartenders later apologized for their comments, but I'm unsure if they were genuine or trying to save face. All in all, if you're willing to explore untraditional cocktails with a cozy vibe, you should try this place. If you have a simple pallet, that doesn't need to be wowed, it's questionable if you should visit. If this review doesn't get me banned, I may give it another try. Happy drinking!
