My friend and I decided to get a massage last Saturday evening b/c we didn't feel like going out to the bars and were in the area. The sitting area and massage rooms were everything you'd expect of a no frill massage joint. One weird thing, and I now know why they make you do this, is you have to pay for your massage AND tip before the start of your massage. What? Yep. And that's b/c you're about to have the worst experience of your massage life. I entered the room about 9:05PM, stripped down and laid on the table waiting for my lady. She came in a few minutes later. She never once removed my towel to massage my skin. Didn't use oils or lotions and didn't use a hot towel. How do I know they even offer this, well my friend that was next door received all of the above. I felt like my lady was just poking me here and there with her fingers and karate chopping my back. There was absolutely no technique used. After a short period, she said, "Ok, finished." Thoroughly confused, I looked at my phone and it had been 20 minutes. I paid for 30. The lady came back in my room and offered me water. I asked why my massage was 10 minutes short. She said, "No, you're wrong it was 30 min." I get dressed and go back into the lobby and sit and wait for my friend. It took me a while to get dressed as it's winter and I had layers and boots. I sat down on the sofa at 9:29PM. So I decided to complain to the manager. I had my credit card receipt saying I payed exactly at 9PM. My friend paid after. I didn't even go into the room until 5 after, then I had to undress and wait for the lady to come in. If we're being honest here, she probably started around 9:10PM and ended at 9:25PM and that's being generous. The woman at the front desk said I would have to ask the woman that was working on my friend. So I waited another 10 minutes for her to be done (watched as a hot towel entered the room). The woman that was working on my friend just smiled and said the girl was new and that she wanted to go home, that's why my massage was short. I said that it wasn't really an excuse, it's a 24 hour massage place and if they couldn't have accommodated two people then they shouldn't have taken our money. She just smiled again and said, she was sorry but the girl was new and was tired. Can't make this up people. In the end, the new-tired-girl-that-wanted-to-go-home-that-lacked-any-sort-of-massage-skill-ended up giving me back my tip. Biggest waste of money ever. Go elsewhere. My friend mentioned her massage was filled with hard pressure, oils, lotions and warm towels. I got none of that.

But then it dawned on me that I remembered seeing a foot massage spot just a few doors down and decided that might be the perfect way to end my day! I walked in around 8pm without and appointment and luckily they were able to take me immediately. The seating for a foot massage is in an open area with soft, plush leather seats that are so easy to sink into. Once seated, they'll wash your feet and then begin the massage. I booked a foot reflexology massage for 60 mins. It was $45 and was absolutely amazing! Considering how expensive things are these days, I thought that was overall a great deal! Immediately 2 staffs welcomed me very warmly, great sign of natural accommodation. I felt very comfortable right away. I have been to uncountable massage parlors for over the 30 years but this was the most homey trust feeling I got. They are very down to the Earth, helped me for charging 2 phones before the massage. They sent me Mia. Actually we never spoke any words. Her hands and elbows goes straight to the acupressure points, literally head to toes with exact right amount of pressure. She is very hard working. I didn't have to request anything. I realized her way is real treatment. It's my favorite style, next day I had slight soreness in the morning and later on the day I felt amazing whole body. She gave me most effective techniques and got rid of all of my problems.
