This place is pretty smelly and sleezy. The massuer was a man who kept trying to push the towel off very inappropriately. Then they tried to say I stayed an extra 10 min and added $10 to my credit card without even telling me. This is a bare bones massage place. The "rooms" are separated by walls that do not go all the way up, with curtains covering the 4th side of the wall. That being said, noise is a problem here. You hear others getting their massage, you hear customers coming and going. You will definitely hear people yell across rooms to each other in Chinese - about how much longer they are with their customer and other fun things.. Probably the worst cheap massage I've ever had. I've had tons of cheap TuiNa and know someone experienced and with a good sense of energy. My therapist, if he could be called that, was rough, used too much pressure, was sweating on me and seemingly not sensing the difference between oil and sweat, rubbed my skin too hard, and sniffed, as if his nose was running. My guess is he has little experience, but his sense of energy was also very poor. Not a natural healer. Great cost effective high quality and open late. The male masseuse is amazing - he really gets in there and knows what he's doing. It's affordable, legit, deep tissue body work. You have to put up with being able to hear other customers who talk too much, and the conversations in Chinese among the masseuses, but this is a bargain, and does the body good. I come here after all my races of any distance and after particularly strenuous physical exertion. The masseuses know how to find and work out all the knots. They will only go as hard as you want - checking with you early on to see if it's "ok". I have to say the hands of the female masseuses are more relaxing, but the male masseuse gives the deepest and most therapeutic massages I've found. So it's not only a unmatched value, but it is quality-wise exceptional. I only wish they had earlier hours at the beginning of the week, because that is when I typically need the recovery. read more

I have always just walked in, and they have always been able to take me either right then, or they tell me to come back. I really don't think they take appointments. Too bad for me, because I could have been going to Sunny's all those years. This place doesn't have much by way of atmosphere, but what it does have is amazing masseuses that know how to hit every spot with pinpoint accuracy. And they're much better than most of the Chinese masseuses you'll come across that tend to view the amount of pain they deal out as a sign of good work. I called to make an appointment and as soon as I got there I got ushered right into the massage "room". As with all of these cheaper massage spots, the massage rooms are just separated by curtains, but I am used to that. What was more important was the quality of the massage, and this was amazing! She had just the right amount of pressure, not too weak, not too painful. She could tell that my neck and shoulders needed the most help and she spent alot of time on that. We live just a few blocks from this place so it's super convenient. I have really enjoyed their massages - they're efficient, friendly and of course it's super cheap. The place is not fancy, but you get what you pay for. Unfortunately my experience today here was not ok. My boyfriend and I called ahead and booked two massages after a long day of walking around the city, we were re-assured that they had availability for both of us at the same time in ten minutes when we'd arrive. Upon arriving we waited for a good 15 minutes, which is still ok in my book as long as I know I will be receiving a thorough massage in return. My boyfriend asked for 40 minutes but I only wanted 30. We were guided into our rooms, I settled in and got very comfortable, calming waiting. I did notice that the owner was making phone calls which I assumed were being done to arrange for another masseuse. After ten minutes of waiting unclothed and after she had begun my boyfriends service she came in to tell me that I'd have to wait until he was done before mine would start. To be honest I find this very frustrating. It's completely understandable when their isn't last minute availability, but it really came off as though they knew they couldn't take us at once and just wanted to get me settled in so I'd be patient to wait 40 minutes. Furthermore, they clearly started my boyfriends massage who was committing to more time/money before they'd break the news to me. I am not sure if I will be able to com back b/c I left so frustrated. I won't go as far as saying this place is bad in fact you will get a great massage but I definitely advise you to make sure they can follow through on the service they've committed to you before you get behind those curtains and get comfy! read more
