First let me say this was a gift, because always wanted to try this. For my so called first time experience it was terrible. When I arrived no one was at the front desk to greet you upon arrival. I was waiting for about 5 minutes. Then he was rushing me into the room. I asked can I use the restroom before starting the process. He told me yes as he showed me to the restroom. You could see the upkeep of this place was not clean or sanitary. He had a hose come out of one room to the restroom. He remove the hose and as I was walking back I went into one of the rooms and the bed thing that you lay on had feces on it. The floors were dirty.The room itself was dirty. As my girlfriend enter, I told her that I didn't want to do it and that it wasn't clean. She felt the same exact way as I did. As Mr. Han was trying to rush us into the room my girlfriend explained that we no longer wanted the service and that the establishment was not up to par and most importantly not sanitary. He tried to explain that the establishment was sanitary and clean. We listens and explain that it was not and we no longer wanted the service. He said ok and let Groupon know so we can get our refund. We said ok, then left on our ride home we received a call from Mr. Han asking us to please come back and that he sanitizes everything. We again said no thank you, and he repeated to get our refund from Groupon. When arriving home we went to find another service to use our money on and get a refund. Mr.Han had put that we used his establishments and they took the money. We weren't rude or disrespectful in any kind of way. Even when he called we listened and just declined. We thought maybe he doesn't want us to give him a bad review which we weren't. But the fact that he did this pissed me off and he took our kindness for granted. If I could give him 0 stars I would, because you don't do that to people. The people lying saying that the establishment is clean, need to stop. I came here to use a YouSwoop for a massage but instead got a very thorough application of lotion. It was suppose to be a 60 minute Swedish massage, but the women didn't come in until 15 minutes after it was suppose to start. (I'm hesitant to call her a masseuse, as given the lack of actual massaging, I doubt she is licensed.) For the remaining 45 Vaseline Intensive Care Lotion was rubbed all over my body. Prior to the massage I had said I'd like to focus on my upper and lower back. At one point she came across the two small knots in my shoulders. Each time she rubbed them for all of ten seconds before continuing to apply the lotion. At one point she asked if the pressure was too strong (?!?!?!). I told her it wasn't strong enough, but that only yielded her pressing really hard on my fingers during the hand portion of the "massage". Like another yelper said, there is a framed note reminding people to tip. The implication was that "coupon" and "YouSwoop" users don't tip. The sign worked because I did tip but my guess is that if an actual massage had been performed, her tips would be better. Came here to use a youswoop coupon that I purchased for a 1 hour swedish massage. I arrived about 20 minutes late and they were still accommodating and gave me a massage for about 50 mins. The massage itself was ok. It was a little weird that the massage room was outside (when you walk out of the room, you're in the waiting area). I know that this place is known for their colonic... but I was greeted by the unpleasant smell when I walked into the office. The lady is very nice and friendly. I wish the massage worked my muscles more. The nice thing was that when my massage was over, it was raining. The lady gave me an umbrella, walked with me (with her own umbrella) to my car, and then made sure I got into my car before taking the umbrella back and then walking back to the office. I can't speak for any other massage therapists here but I have gone here twice now to get a massage from Mun Han. I first started going to him a few years ago when he was working out in Villa Park. I tracked him down after he left and found out that he now is at the Good Morning Clinic. I will pretty much follow him anywhere! I have a lot of neck, back, and foot pain due to my job and body alignment that is really helped by a deep tissue massage. He is great at diagnosing asymmetry in your body and working on tight muscles. He will get on top of the table to work your muscles correctly and stretch you in all the right places. The pressure is perfect. I think the best word to describe his massage is "therapeutic". I feel great afterwards-relaxed, recharged, and loose. If you are interested in a spa experience, this place may not be for you. However, if you want a exceptionally therapeutic massage, Mun Han is excellent. read more

So Short story , in my case . I was finally reach the time when I need serious colonic clean, first start with food habits, by switching to raw and health diet avoid sugar !! Juicing more and doing intermittent fasting and health keto diet, more fermented food , and avoid any processed food and any restaurant, alcohol off and coffee off to , someone will say this dude is crazy .... but I'm the only one now how I was suffering with my health condition last year... by doing small steps day by day and doing this amazing enema\ colonic cleaning was real good things to do . DO NOT COME HERE!!!! There are many questionable practices, standard precautions are not practiced, I do not believe the equiptment is sanitized, everything appears to be dirty, the staff(a man) I encountered was so unprofessional it was alarming. I had purchased a groupon for a colonic so I made a 9am appointment for today and arrived at the location early. At about 8:40am or so I arrived to a very unwelcoming and cluttered waiting area. I was greeted by a man who didn't even give me his name who spoke very broken English and was difficult to understand. I filled out a single sheet of paper that asked me what I did for a living contact info and if I had any conditions that might interfere with safely receiving a colonic. At the bottom the fine print stated they were NOT physicians and not responsible for insertion and any injury was to be done at your own risk. So I proceeded thinking maybe the procedure room would be cleaner. It wasnt. In fact no area of this place appeared to be clean. I was brought into a room with a machine and peice of equipment that looked like a long chaise. There was a small pillow with a liner on for your back which covered about 40% of your body(where your upper body would be) The man removed the disposable peice that is inserted inside you and placed it on the equipment where the rubber hangs over the canal where your urine and feces are expelled from. So I asked where the bathroom was and went to use it because I knew the procedure should be awhile. The bathroom was also disgusting. I was feeling pretty uncomfortable at this point. When I came back the sterile peice that's suppose to be inserted inside you was lying on the "sanitized" canal area where the urine and feces run down. I was disgusted. I told the man I needed a new peice because it wasn't sterile and he got angry and told me "they're very expensive!" When I would not allow him to try and convince me that his sanitized equipment was good enough. Then I got a new one and tried to see if I could fix this liner so my bare skin was not exposed to where other people's bottoms are placed and poop,urine,blood,mucous etc whatever comes out of them during this procedure. When the man seen that I had altered the liner to protect my bottom he flew into a rage and tore the paper and said I could not do that because it would impact the colonic. I questioned that the paper thin liner would affect it but he was adamant and would not allow me to proceed unless I agreed to allow my bare skin to be exposed to his "sanitized equiptment," and I said I'm sorry I can't do this, i need my money back and that I was in healthcare and this wasn't sanitary and he screamed at me saying " And I am a doctor!" He said I'd have to get my money through groupon and no one has ever said that to him before going to his office and sulking not looking at me and giving me the silent treatment until I left. As someone in the healthcare field I was appalled at how I was treated and what I was told. Something being inserted inside you can causes a whole host of infections and diseases. It's suppose to be sterile- this was not. You could possibly transmit a whole host of infectious disease including hepatitis and HIV if that's the case especially if things aren't cleaned and properly sanitized which I suspect they werent. Even when things are sanitized C.Diff can live on infected surfaces for up to 6months! This man, whoever owns this business does not care about the SAFETY or well being of their customers. I would NEVER suggest anyone go here and wouldn't wish this misinformation and con act tried on my worst enemy. Always trust your gut, and if your not comfortable speak up! NOTHING is ever worth your health , please please please don't risk it here! You think your going in for a quick simple procedure and it could cost you your life and health at your expense for someone trying to make a buck. I normally don't waste my time doing these things but I seen groupon has sold 1,000 and I couldn't go to sleep with a clear conscious knowing what I do about disease because of my line of work as a CNA ( certified nursing assistant) for several years and allow other people who perhaps do not know any better gambling their life here. I will be pursuing avenues to have the state of IL health inspectors come to this location as well to shut these people down and hopefully prevent someone from getting sick. If after this you decide your going to go ,do it at your own risk but realize that for a few dollars and a few pounds lost you could contract something that destroys your health and your life. You've been warned!!!! Update: Filed complaint today 04/25 just before 4:50pm with BBB after being directed there from the IL Dept of Public Health. I really do NOT recommend coming here. The style of colonic is not professional at all. The therapist LEAVES the room while you are having the colonic, and does not massage or assist you. This was a very scary experience, and I have to question the hygiene. Try a reputed colonic hydrotherapist (there are several in the directory, or ask around). I have been wanting to try colonic irrigation for a while now; and although I found Good Morning Clinic through Groupon. Reading through all the great reviews gave me confidence to finally give it a try. Dr. Han is amazing and his kindnesses immediately puts you at ease. He clearly explained the process and what I needed to do. Prior to going into the room he sanitized the equipment - I could see him from the lobby. He checked on me several times and provided an optional heating pad. The process was surprisingly quite comfortable. I feel spring clean and look forward to my next appointment. If you're interested but not sure what to expect. One thing to note - this is an alternative medical therapy. The rooms are lit with regular lamps. Not the bright sterile harsh light of a hospital or (American style) offices. The tube is 1x use and is in a sterile package. This clinic is clean, but you have to be open minded. If you aren't able to experience it without the bright sterile lights, this kind of alternative therapy may not be for you. If you are able to move past it, even to try it once. Dr. Han and Good Morning Clinic will not disappoint. read more

I received a gift card for the Good Morning Clinic from my husband for a massage...three years ago. I had been reluctant for three whole years to go to the Good Morning Clinic because I was frightened by the thought of getting an accidental colonic. And, on a side note, I'm the worst person ever to give a gift card to. I never use them. I finally decided to make an appointment because I've really been in need of a massage. I figured I would brave it out and give Good Morning Clinic a try. When I called to make my appointment, I clearly stated to the receptionist that I wanted to make an appointment for a massage. Three times she replied, "So, that's a colonic at 11? Or, "so a colonic and a massage at 11?" Or, "I'll see you at 11 for the colonic." And, after reiterating three separate times that I'd like ONLY a massage, this receptionist called the day before my appointment to remind me that my 11:00 appointment for my colonic was tomorrow. YIKES!!! I arrived at the Good Morning Clinic, still a bit nervous that I might be receiving a colonic, at 11:00 sharp. The office was empty, aside from the small space heater and me. And, it was FREEZING. I began to dread what might come next. I waited, next to the small space heater, just the two of us, for about 15 minutes until I was called back to my "massage" room. It was FREEZING. A couple of minutes later, after I was instructed to undress, the receptionist back in with the same mall space heater from the waiting room. Ok, I'm not going to give you a play by play from here but this is the basic just of it...the masseuse was 45 minutes late. The music was Frank Sinatra soft rock-style, no words, just piano. It was so cold in the room, the masseuse had to get another space heater and some warm packs to put on my back so I wasn't shivering. The electricity went out three times, I assume from the excessive use of space heaters. Hence, I listed to the same Frank Sinatra soft rock-style song three times before I actually heard another song. The masseuse used only Johnson's Baby oil and Jergen's Facial Lotion, as the massage oil. She massaged my hands and feet for most of the 40 minutes, leaving only about 10 minutes for my neck and back, which were the problematic areas I was hoping to have worked on. She left the massage room at least 8 times, for several minutes at a time, throughout my massage. She referred to my face, arms, and feet as "legs." Her cell phone buzzed several times during the massage. When she was done "massaging", mostly leaving the room alot, she said "all done. Sorry for the power. Drink water." She did not offer me water at the clinic. I feel more tense after my massage than I did before I went. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Good Morning Clinic. Sorry, honey. read more

It's been years since I've been here, but Paola's review is spot on. The therapist (if you can call her that) leaves the room and doesn't come back for 15-20 minutes at a time. No massaging or assistance is provided. She comes back in to make sure you're not dead, then bolts out like Costanza from a fire. Otherwise, you're on your own. The only reason I would return is because afaik, they are the only ones in the north side that use the LIBBE system, which is the best imo. read more

Well, I have to say that the treatment was OK, as it did what it was supposed to do, but it is aggravating that Gloria leaves the room for most of the time. Also, her English is hard to understand. There was one session where the tube came out TWICE, and I had to bang on the wall to get the girl to come back in the room and take care of things. I received my first colonic here. This place is very clean. The gentleman performing the procedure didn't speak english that well but he was very gentle and patient with me. The only issue I had was he left me alone in the room for more than 20 mins. It was busy that day and he was the only person working. I would have preferred that he stay in the room for the first couple of minutes during the procedure just so I could have a little extra support. It wasn't bad. This was the worst massage I have ever received. I have had several massages and am glad that this was not my first. There was nothing relaxing about this experience. The entire process felt like a joke and I thought Ashton would pop out at some point and tell me Ive been punked. I was taken to a room that I thought was a utility closet. The masseuse was also the receptionist, first red flat, and she told me to disrobe. She came in 15 minutes later, and started karate-chopping my calve muscles. She used generic lotion, not massage oil. I was overheating from the space heater in the room and was located right next to my body. Immediately outside of the utility closet-room, there were men doing construction and yelling. Without a word, she exited the room and started to yell at the men in another language. This happened 3 times, again with no explanation. I was then abruptly startled by very loud Salsa music from another room which continued for 15 minutes. The entire time I couldnt help but wonder where her license was because there was no way that this woman was a license masseuse. The experience was at times comedic, but not worth it. read more

I see most people here commenting about the hydrotherapy but i want to share my experience with my acne treatment and skincare. I didn't know what happened back then, could be stress, could be eating oily/spicy food for consecutive days, could be drinking whatever it was. I had break out on my face. There were many acnes populated around my chin my jaw and i tried all kinds of anti-acne products and didn't work. What's worse was that whenever one wave of acnes seem to disappear, more acnes showed up. I was really desperate and went do Dr. Han for the treatment. First of all Dr. Han used a steaming machine that revealed all of the acnes underneath the surface of my face. It was really shocking to see but also felt good that it was time to make all go away. Then he used a needle to poke then squeezed out everything. Lastly he put some aloe and soothing gels to help cooling down. I gotta be honest it was pretty painful during the poke and squeeze part. However miracle happened afterwards. After 2-3 days the acnes became much smaller and faded away, and after around a week everything DISAPPEARED! NO SCAR, NO SPOT, NOTHING. My face became smooth and nice as normal and those acnes didn't come back right after the treatment. Now Dr. Han is my GO-TO doctor whenever i have acne issues occasionally. Very professional and trustworthy I'm so glad I found this place and the service. read more
