New management. I had high hopes seeing the colors a newer furniture, but it's awful! The woman doing my nails was mean and not listening to me. She overly filed my nail bed which I told her to stop and pulled my hand away. I requested no cutting of my cuticles. The woman pushed back my cuticles so hard, it hurt. I pulled my hand away and she told me to stop. I said it hurt and to gently push. She didn't. Then she got a machine tip to remove cuticles. I told her not to use it. She filed my cuticles. And she filled my nail bed so hard, it made an open, bleeding sore. Once more I pulled away. I showed her the spot. She grabbed my hand and continued to file. I asked her to stop touching that area. She huffed. That was the end. I get my nails done at least once a month, so I know a good manicure. This was NOT it!!!! I miss the friendly people from before who smiled, remembered your name, and respected your simple requests like no cutting cuticles. read more

Solid affordable salon! I got a regular manicure on a rainy dreary day. I was helped right away when I walked in. The woman who did my nails was very friendly and polite. She did a great job. I was very pleased with the quality of the manicure for the priced I paid. The massage was 10 stars worthy. I was a little surprised when asked if I wanted a massage at the beginning. I'be never been to a salon that offered as I got my nails done. The woman who massages my back was a rock star. I felt so relaxed and no longer tense. She massaged my neck, back, shoulders and arms for majority of the time I got my nails done. She also came back for another massage when my nails were drying. A great nail place in Wilton Center that has been a stand-by whenever I come back home. I love Good Morning because it is BIG, inviting, and clean, and while it is usually teeming with activity, it has such a calm and soothing atmosphere. The aestheticians are polite and take their time with you - definitely a plus. Also, the price - its always a shock coming back to the NY/CT area from my new home in DC and re-discovering that mani/pedi combos don't cost $50. For a mere $30 here, you get a great mani/pedi. Color selection is average - offerings from Essie and Opi. The pedicure chairs are nice and padded, but it is difficult to feel the massaging of the chairs. The nail service is very thorough and soothing. Although I just paid for a regular combo, I got a little hot stone action in my foot rub, too! What a plus. The reason why Good Morning gets downgraded to just three stars is because of the longevity (or lack thereof) of my manicure. My pedicure still looks great a week later, as it should, but my manicure began to chip and deteriorate by day 2. I'm not sure what to attribute it to - the polish or technique or what - but I haven't had a manicure with such poor lasting ability in a looong while. So, while Good Morning hits the mark for price and service and a mental health pick-me-up, it wouldn't be my top stop for a long-lasting manicure. read more

One might call me categorically insane based on the amount of nail salons I have tried in my lifetime... especially if you saw the general condition of my nails on a day-to-day basis. Way in the back of my brain I must think there is one magic salon that will make my nails grow long and thick just by paying a visit every now and again. Knowing that is impossible, I do appreciate a good nail salon experience. I find Good Morning to be the best bet in Wilton Center vicinity. It's priced fairly and in a decently large space. It's nice that they use little disintigrating pills in the soaking water, which I assume have some disinfecting property. Also, you get a massage both when you are getting your nails done and at the drying table, which is a bonus in my book. Manicures also seem to last an average amount of time. I had an amazing manicure by Sam - so far I'm a week in and it's still looking perfect. If it lasts another week I am going to officially be Aam's #1 fan!! Highly recommend. Super calming atmosphere and the massages from the ladies are the cherry on top. I ended up getting a 20 min massage before leaving because her hands were magic. Super impressed!! Stumbled by this gem while my son was at the dentist upstairs. The quality of service is top notch and you will leave feeling as if you really spent the time at a high end spa. I'm from Long Island, where there is a nail salon in every strip mall. While Good Morning looks like a basic but very spacious salon, it's the level of service that is so remarkable. It is definitely worth it to upgrade your pedicure as it includes a hot stone massage, callus treatment and 10 minute chair massage. The massage is not your run-of-the-mill rub down. It's a true therapeutic massage with lotion and all. Bring your own hair clip to get your hair out of the way or they provide one. They line the pedicure tubs with a plastic liner and practice all sanitary procedures. Looking forward to having to go to the dentist again just so I can come back! Be sure to upgrade to one of the many spa pedi options, my favorite is Lemon. They treat you like family and everyone calls you by name after just a few visits. There is no lack of nail salons in Wilton Center, and I chose this one based on the fact that I knew people who went there. It's a fairly typical nail salon, though I love the couches that you can wait on (not that I had to wait). Many mani and pedi stations. Friendly employees. Very nicely done pedicure for $30 (though I thought it was odd that they charged tax so the total was weird?). Not the best scrub/massage that I ever had, but the polish was done nicely and my toes look great after a winter/spring of neglect. I liked seeing the filters from the pedi baths in the UV sterilizer, and the whole place seemed clean enough. All in all, a decent job for a reasonable price. read more

I've been to many nail salons both in the suburbs and in Manhattan, and Good Morning Nails FAR exceeds the experience of any place I've been to. I've been there 5 times now with 3 different friends, and our experience has all been consistent. The space is large and pleasant, and the manicure/pedicure service is awesome. They use sterilized tools every time, which is a huge plus! Between pedicure and manicure, you end up getting a complementary shoulder massage, which, no matter who does it, is amazing. I always leave feeling like I should have paid/tipped more considering how pampered I feel. Five stars! read more

The worst pedicure I have ever received. The moment you sit in the chair they try to upsell their services. The women that did my pedicure had an attitude. When I asked her if she could clip the dead skin around my nails she started speaking Cantonese to the other women working there. Very rude! Now I've not been in the US for too long so I don't have all that much to go on, but to my mind this place rocks! The staff are friendly and helpful, the pedicures are soooo relaxing. The atmosphere is busy but friendly and you get massages as you sit in the pedicure chair (machine), as you have your manicure and at the drying table. Amazing pampering all for $30. Kids nails done for either $6 or $8 - my daughter loved getting little snowmen on her nails at Christmas. It was exactly what I needed - I'm not even sure I remember what color I picked because it just didn't even matter. Very friendly staff and nice peaceful atmosphere.
