The majority of the route was on Ranch Road 1 which was great since there are multiple rest stops with bathrooms and scenic views along the Pedernales River (long horns! herds of deer! LBJ Ranch! and more!). It is worth mentioning you are riding on the road so be cautious of oncoming cars even though there is not much traffic. Would also recommend renting an e-bike as it made the trip more leisurely especially going up inclines.
