Great menu selection for those who are vegan
    Dubhe B.

I will be coming back to this place. A variety of vegan dishes, smoothies, desserts, soups, tea, take and bake dishes which are already frozen or place an order. Very casual, clean, owners are super friendly!! I love that I can go to places like this and not have to worry about whether or not there is cheese in any of the dishes. I can order everything out of the menu without having to ask so many questions about their ingredients. Come on down and take a chance on a new dish and support local cuisine!!!

I may be a meat eater but I LOVE Good Stock. The food is flavourful and well presented. I highly recommend their Saturday special, Donair with Potato salad! It's delicious!! The decor is bright and crisp with delightful jazzy tunes. It's a sweet hidden gem off the beaten trail.

Look, another vegetarian place! Good Stock Restaurant & Catering focuses on being a quick service, healthy plant based restaurant. This sounded like the perfect place to take my favourite vegan couple. We came on a Sunday for a late lunch (1:00pm). The inside has a very clean, crisp industrial look to it with tons of seating available. They have a lot going on: daily specials for everyday of the week, healthy smoothies, take-away camping packages (cool idea!), and Da Vinci gelato (from St. Albert). The main menu focuses on a few things: bagels, soup, probiotic cashew cheeze wheel, main courses, snacks, desserts and beverages. - Strawberry lime hibiscus punch ($2.50) - it's made in house. I found the drink quite floral and light in taste but Jboy and L liked it. - Roasted tomato pepper kale ($5.50) - we added bottom rice ($1.50) to make it a bit more substantial. Can I add that $1.50 for a scoop of rice is ridiculous? That being said, the soup was very hearty and had good flavour. - Loaded taco bowl ($12.50) - it looks like one hot mess. Taste = average. - Mac & cheeze with shredded rainbow salad ($10.50) - the mac was lacking that creamy, oozy satisfaction. I've yet to be impressed with any vegetarian style mac & cheese. The rainbow salad was probably the best thing we ordered. Healthy with a great balance of flavours and texture, I'd get this on it's own. - Quesadilla with potato salad ($12.00) -the sauce had good flavour and a wee bit of heat to it. Would have liked to have had the quesadilla crunchier. The potato salad was pretty boring; seemed like just filler to me. It's great to see more vegetarian places like GS opening up. Edmonton needs more variety and diversity in it's food options. 3.5 stars.

I had been reading reviews of this restaurant and decided to check it out today. Located in a quiet strip mall. Lots of parking outside. Complete Vegan (all plant based) menu. There was a line upto the cashier, staff were giving out samples of a new menu, very friendly environment. Food not to expensive. Very delicious. The linguine tasty, rich and fulfilling- cannot tell that there was no oil or butter in it. The burger was very spicy but delicious. We couldn't taste the flavour in the punch although it was refreshing. Washrooms clean. Restaurant was packed. Will definitely eat here again

Best. restaurant. Ever. I love Goodstock because all their foods are extremely healthy, tasty, and most importantly, VEGAN. Each time I go there, I'm impressed. The cinnamon bun is my FAVOURITE since it's oil free and healthy...

Service was really great, if a bit slow, but at the time there were a lot of other customers, so its completely understandable. Very considerate and welcoming staff. It is a lovely atmosphere to catch up with friends. Our server was polite and well mannered. They have a great lunch deal as well. I went with the Spicy Eggplant with coconut rice - Chinese eggplant quartered and stir-fried in a sweet and savory chili sauce. My friend chose this as well. We also started with the Roti Canai -Grilled Indonesian flatbread served with a curry dipping sauce. This is my favourite dish on the menu. I usually order this. Both dishes were excellent and fresh. I love the flakey roti and the dipping sauce has the right amount of curry in it. The eggplant was tasty as well and perfectly cooked. It came with rice (we chose coconut rice for an extra dollar) and a spring roll. The spring roll was crunchy and filled with veggies. All together a great meal.

The toppings were fresh but maybe because we ordered delivery it just didn't have the as much pizazz as I expected. It was still a tasty pizza. For the kids we ordered the cheese pizza. The combination of orange and white cheese was nice, and it was very saucy. The slices were too big for my littles who had to fold the pizza to eat it. And once it got to us that chewy textured dough has just too difficult for them to chew. The beingets were delightful, same chewy texture. Liked the icing and Carmel to dip. I think this pizza place would have been more enjoyable eating at the location and getting the pizza hot and fresh.

What I don't like is that you have to go up and order. Which I forgot about and so I was wondering why no one was coming outside. These types of restauarants baffle me. If you are are already coming around to fill up water, check on food etc. how much more effort would it be to hand out the menus and take the order? I went with a friend who had the Kale salad while I went with Korean Hawaiian. It was fantastic. Crust was nice and chewy and housemade kimchi gave it a kick. They have a very interesting menu here, with lots of things to try. A little pricy but for high quality vegan food this is the way to do it.

That…read moresaid the restaurant has no idea that I am there with a coupon, so no judgement at all on the service, other than having to ask for a spoon, milk and sugar with my cup of tea with a tea bag in it..... did I mention tea pots are cheap and make far better tea for your patron. Spending many nights in hotels we try to get the breakfast included as it saves time and puts food in the belly to start the day. I was pleased to see that it wasn't buffet (trough food in my mind) and actually ordered food off the menu. Bacon and eggs is difficult to mess up, and they did a fair job of it, although the potatoes were almost empty inside having been deep fried (?) maybe a bit too long. Toast arrived unbuttered and not hot, so the butter packets supplied, although not ice cold, like so many, had to be spread. Those mere minutes cool your breakfast. Also the little plate of additions had plenty of butter, two Jif peanut butter packets and one raspberry jam. They're not expensive, so provide a decent cross section, or nothing at all. One huge pet peeve (and a big part of the 3 star rating) was the fact that my English Breakfast tea ordered showed up as a cup with a tea bag in it, and three quarters full of hot water. What, no teapots? How is that possible? Also had to ask for a spoon, sugar and milk. Not a huge capital expense to buy the crap metal tea pots, or even the better ones. The ambiance is typical Courtyard Marriott, cookie cutter as all get. The breakfast I commend them with and it's not the typical buffet breakfast included, which I dislike. Sadly the order yourself, wasn't much better than that. Could have been a standout from so many, but it fell short. Giving it another try tomorrow as we are here for two more nights. Please do better.

I ordered the Aztec bowl with Tempeh. Pretty delicious- lots of different textures which is always what I like in a bowl. Service is good enough- it's a walk up type service, so you don't need much. They provide cups and a sink to fill your water yourself. They were sold out of many things, but fortunately not what I came for haha. Inside it has a quick service vibe like Freshii or Chopped Leaf. Decently clean, but I did see someone have to ask for napkins to clean their own table off before sitting. The only additional note I'll say is eating healthier is so expensive haha. Two bowls were just shy of $40.
