My favorite place to grab grub on the go! Their burgers are so filling and will definitely make you full if you are very hungry. The quality is not like any other place that I have been to. The price is pretty large compared to other places, but trust me it's worth it. Their fries are also very seasoned and have the perfect amount of salt in my opinion. They also have salad options which is unbelievable. I go to a few burger places and they usually never have salads, and the fact that this place serves them says alot. I read that I needed to try this place out if I was in Georgetown, so that's happened. It's a good place, but it didn't stand out in any way. If i'd eat it again, it would be because i'm starving, and you had limited options. My burger was cooked well, had nice seasoning, and wasn't overly greasy. The onion ring was poor. the batter was raw in the middle, and the onion could have been old. it was more slim than it should have been, and the texture was off. The interior was messy. A lot of trash left over food was all over the tables and floor. Had to wipe up my won spot to be able to eat. Customer service was nice and friendly. Give recommendations and the make sure you know what's going on. Looked like the employees were having fun as well. read more

Burgers and fries were OK, but not that exciting. The toasted marshmallow milkshake is true to flavor and super tasty, but super sweet, so sharing with someone is recommended. I shared my regular milkshake with someone, and we finished about 60% of it. They have some really cool flavors to dip your fries. I really liked the chipotle sauce. Eh, more like OK Stuff Eatery. I've been here a few times, and while the burgers have been decent, I just don't like the fries or the shakes. First, the fries. I've ordered the village fries, which come dusted with rosemary and thyme. That's a nice touch, and it adds more flavor. However. The fries are thicker-cut, which is fine, but each time I've ordered them they've been soft, not crispy like I'd prefer. Soft fries = no bueno. Even the smaller 'snack' size is a generous portion, so if you like them, you'll be happy to know you're getting a lot of them. But soft like they are, they just aren't for me. And I see that many recent reviews note this same problem. Next, the shakes, which are very, very thick. Thick like a Wendy's Frostee, which is basically soft-serve ice cream. If you're looking for a beverage that's needs to be eaten with a spoon you may like these. Me, I want a shake to actually be drinkable, so these just aren't my style. I will note that they offer up lots of good-sounding shake flavors, so there's that. Finally, the burgers, which have been pretty good, though not best-burger-ever good. On a recent visit I had the turkey burger with avocado and other fixings, and I will say I enjoyed it. Here's the thing, though: by now, there are lots of places offering up their takes on good burgers / haute fast food. You've got chains like Shake Shack, Smash Burger, Five Guys, etc., stand-alone places like this one, and even fancier joints like Le Diplomate all vying for your burger dollars. With so many people operating in this space, you need to do something to stand out, and given the flaws noted above, I don't quite see that here. In the end, this strikes me as food that most kids would like, but that might miss the mark just a bit with discerning adults. read more

Perhaps the best part for me is the variety of dipping sauces available for the fries! Old Bay seems like a must for it's close proximity to Maryland and the mango is also amazing offering a sweet burst to the salty fries. The onion petals are also something that I haven't seen anywhere and it is just that. Vidalia onions cut into large petals, battered and fried to perfection. The STEAKHOUSE BURGER had roasted Cremini Mushrooms, Onion Straws, Emmental Swiss Cheese with Tangy Steakhouse Mayo. The onion straws were really dry and mushrooms weren't juicy or tasted like they were roasted. I got the mayo on the side and I'm glad I did because it didn't add to the burger at all. Also got the GREEK WEDGE SALAD because conceptually it sounded very interesting: topped with Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Green Onions, Kalamata Olives, Feta Cheese, Freshly Snipped Dill, Toasted Sesame Seeds & A Virgin Olive Oil Vinaigrette. It was a little too busy for my taste buds and I didn't like the green onions because they overpowered the salad and the vinaigrette was way too tangy. My favorite part of the salad was the dill, wish there was more of it. SPIKE'S VILLAGE SNACK FRIES were really dry and chewy and were topped with dried herbs not fresh ones like the description said of "Fresh Thyme, Rosemary & Sea Salt." What a letdown. Fast service. Helpful staff. After you order, you are given an electronic device to let you know when your food is ready. For a Friday night it was too busy and the line moves quickly. I tried the Obama burger. The combinations sound good. And they were pretty solid. The bun for me was a lot too soft for a burger. But overall the flavors blended amazingly well. I had the Prez Obama burger with the Sunny fries, the fries were very good. However I was highly disappointed with the burger. One of which was undercooked. The middle was still pink! And it was quite small for almost $7! Secondly, I'm not sure if it was the Roquefort cheese or the horseradish mayo, but I'm not a fan of either. The sirracha mayo was very tasty. Disclaimer: I don't eat beef. If you don't either, then you may want to pass on this place. There are options, like turkey and chicken, but they don't hold up. The first time I came here, I just stole some fries from my friend who ordered. I did like the different sauces they had, especially the chipotle and sriracha mayo. The fries were decent, and they give you a ton of them. The second time I went, I got the chicken version of the Michelle Melt. The chicken was super average and the rest of the burger was poorly made--dry, weird bun, way too much cheese, and veggies that tasted like they'd been sitting out for a while. I couldn't finish the meal and felt a little gross after eating it. I would consider coming back to try the milkshakes, but definitely not for the food. read more

This place was amazing. It had two floors. Their sauces are awesome. I had the shroom burger which was PHENOMENAL. The burgers were the size of in and out burgers or Burger King burger sizes but obviously taste SOOO MUCH BETTER. This burger had the cheese inside of the mushroom so when you cut into it the cheese oozed out. I also tried the turkey burger. It was good but I'd go with the shroom burger for sure. I went to Good Stuff Eatery with my mother in law on 6/15/19. I had been to other locations of Good Stuff Eatery. I am a big fan of their veggie burger. However choose to try one of the salads. The salad was ample size which helped justify what I considered to be a little pricey. The service was excellent. I thought from the point of my order to pick up was well organized. If I had one compliant it would be the layout of this location. Although there is seating available it is up a very steep set of stairs. My mother in law has some mobility issues. I was worried we wouldn't be able to get up the stairs. In a nutshell if you feel like a burger and find yourself in Georgetown this a good option. read more

The burger was okay with the best part not being the burger which was too well done for my taste. Maybe they were following the current presidents like of well done meat. The roq cheese and onions on my prez Obama were good and I liked the minimalist bun as many places I scoop out tennis bAll size of bread from the bun. I tried the salted caramel moo size. It is much thicker than normal shake and the thick caramel sauce made it no easier to get through the straw. I should have grabbed a spoon or they need to provide either wider or thicker straws. First time here. I got the burger with fried onions and BBQ sauce with a side of fries seasoned with thyme and rosemary. Everything was absolutely delicious. The burger was a decent size. It was flavorful and juicy. They give you so much fries. 1 bag has at least 2/3 servings. No clue how they squeezed that much fries in such a small bag. A little downside is that the place is kinda small. They don't have a lot of seatings and the place seem to always be busy, but service is fast. Definitely will be back. read more

I am from the DMV, but this was my first time trying out this burger shop. I got the Obama Burger with Spike's Village Fries and Toasted Marshmallow Milkshake. Wow wow wow. It was the best combination of food. The Burger is on the sweeter side with the grilled onions combined with the fries...it is really filling. It is definitely comparable to the 5 guys burger that I generally get, just not as greasy for sure. I would 100% come back if I am in Georgetown again anytime soon! read more
