Went to a friend's celebration and could smell cigarette smoke outside. Opening the door the full smell of cigarette smoke hit me. They have lots of air scrubbers but they just don't work. We decided to stay a short time for our friends. The waitress was non-existent so I went to the bar and ordered drinks and food. The fried pickles were excellent and the burgers very good. Prices seemed good. I'm never good with smoking, most smokers just go outside to smoke. If you are a smoker this is your place. It's not my cup of tea If I smoked it would be a four. read more

Awesome bar with a dive feel located in the Richardson area! Came here on a Tuesday and they had Taco Tuesday going on with 2 tacos for $4. Friendly bar tenders, nothing but good vibes in this place When you come in, they do check your ID no matter what age you are, they swipe your ID so don't try to be sneaky putting a fake ID. Great hang out spot with a good value happy hour. The French fries and wings are fantastic but we have tried other things that were not good (queso & fried pickles were a let down). I discovered Good Vibes a few months ago. It's a mile from work. On my 2nd visit, the bartenders remembered my name and asked if I wanted the same drink I had the week before. That was extremely impressive. Can't beat the drink prices despite the drinks being well made. This afternoon was my 3rd time ordering food. I've had the hamburger with onion rings, chicken nachos, and beef tacos. All were fresh tasting and simply superb. I'm surprised at the price of the tacos since they were DELICIOUS. Karaoke every Tuesday and Thursday, although, I've only stayed late enough to catch the beginning twice. However, I noticed that Karaoke on that one Thursday brought in a crowd. The dart board is a plus, but they need new darts. There are three pool tables. I've not experienced Good Vibes on a weekend yet, but the owner introduced himself to me today. (I asked if he was the owner when he checked on me to see if I needed anything. Very personable. He told me that the live bands (usually country) that were a norm during the week, will only play weekends after this week. Pity, because every band I've heard has performed quite well. I really really like this place. Special recognition to the bartenders Ms. FeFe, Mr. Anthony, and Mr. Aaron and to Mr. Ray who prepared my tacos. This is a smoking establishment. Went here to see a friend's band play. Didn't know until I got to the door that this is a smoking bar. It stinks. Too bad, as it was a nice place, otherwise. Friendly staff, decent bar food (though the fried chicken sandwich was not great), and a good-sized stage with dance floor. I respect the right of a business to allow smoking within the law (damn you, Richardson), but realize you're alienating a good chunk of the population who want to breathe clean air. read more

Found this place while I was dog sitting around the area and I've enjoyed it all the times I've went., the food is really good I've gotten the steak tenders ,the cheese burger and the loaded fries all extremely good. Plus all the drinks are reasonably priced so u can enjoy a few drinks with hurting your pockets. read more
