For the most part this wasn't all that terrible. The sandwiches were good. We ordered online for pick-up, while at a soccer game at the Garmin Soccer Complex near by. It's the "healthiest" choice around that area when you're in between games. My daughter tried one of their new hot pasta bakes, Chicken Alfredo, and it was a fail. The chicken was gross and rubbery and the noodles seemed like they were over microwaved. I recommend sticking to the sandwiches. The online ordering was pretty easy and the food was ready ahead of time for our scheduled pick-up, when we got to the location. read more

Worst Goodcents I've been to. The guys working behind the counter were not very cautious (reaching their arms over other sandwiches being prepped, barely missing putting an armpit on it) the counter was very dirty (covered in toppings), witnessed preparation of multiple pickup orders, I would not order pickup from this location. The only reason I am giving it two stars is because they have been DECENT in the past. We usually go to the one on Lackman and have NEVER had an issue there. Lackman always has good customer service, great food, consistency! About 2 months ago I put a pickup order in for 4 sandwiches and when I got to the Lackman location I realized I accidentally put it into the Ridgeview location. So, I went to the Ridgeview location and we were pleasantly surprised at how friendly the two girls were I got my food and left. The food was really good so we decided to stick to this location since it is actually a bit closer to us. However, we have been here 3 times now since that order and it has been TERRIBLE customer service. We are NEVER greeted, in fact, no one ever said anything the entire time until they asked of we wanted a cookie and a drink with our sandwiches. It was so strange and awkward. Today the blonde kid that was there was very annoyed as if he didn't wanna be there and we were inconveniencing him. The food isn't even good to justify it to be honest. It was just slipped together and half-assed. We will not be back here. As per the reviews it looks like we aren't the only ones, the majority agrees. Our order was online for pickup. We're told when it would be ready. We legally parked un a handicap spot. 3 of the 4 spots left were marked for another business. the beginning of this year we came for a socer tournament and my son and I really liked it. We just came back and we brought my husband and both boys because we told them how much we liked it. I was completely disappointed this second time. The service was horrible. Asked for the steak sandwich which they were out of steak which is understandable. So my son wanted meat ball sub. This young girl working obviously was annoyed looking at her other coworker making a face because she had to walk away to get the meatballs out of the microwave like it was an inconvenience. To me it was very tacky and rude. Just do your job and be respectful. I watched the other girl smile when the one made a face. This new location has 'Goodcents of the future' is located just north of the old location. Features include ordering kiosks, a drive-thru lane, and an updated dining area decor. The ordering kiosks were optional during my dine-in visit, so I ordered at the counter old school. My 8" twisted turkey on wheat ($4) was a good value, everything was fresh and delicious, and I didn't notice any skimping on meats or toppings. The service was friendly and helpful, and the dining area was spotless and new with wi-fi and background music from a local radio station. They also have a rewards program, good email discounts, and daily specials. Very nice! read more

Forgot to order meat and they wanted to charge half a sandwich for it when it would've been maybe almost $2. They were super unhelpful.

I called and tried to place a delivery order today and just hung up. The phone rang for almost a minute before they picked up and thought maybe they're just busy but that wasn't the case. They picked up and immediately asked me if I could hold I said yes. Well you should hit the hold button because listening to you and the new girl laugh about not wanting to take the order and who would eventually have to deal with the customer was fun. I've been eating Goodcents since I was a kid but this is a BAD location. Have had several issues, but recently this location accepted my delivery order, and then never delivered. I first called to check on my order and I was told they were too busy to talk to me and to leave a number. I left my phone number but the manager never called me back. The second time I called someone told me they would refund my money and issue rewards points but that never happened. I finally reached the manager on the third call and the manager, Sarina, was rude, didn't apologize, and refused to honor the rewards credit I was told I would receive. I've had two separate incidents with this store over-charging my debit card. The first time, I placed a delivery order online and was charged twice for the same order. I called them immediately and told them, and they advised me that I would have to come into the store and show them my bank statement in order to get a refund. The second time, I place a delivery order online and was charged for a tip that I never authorized. I work right across the street from this store, but will never eat there or order from them again because I'm tired of being over-charged and then having to do all the work in order to get a refund. read more

Worst Mr. Goodcents location ever. I placed an order on-line for a group of our employees. It was scheduled to arrive at 11:45. By noon I had not heard a word and the status of my order was that it was still being prepared. Finally the delivery driver texted me (he was from Door Dash) to say that he was at the store, but they hadn't even started my order. He said he would wait as long as he could. At 12:30, I heard from a different driver that he was at the location, but again, our order hadn't even been started. He contacted me again at 12:45 to say it STILL wasn't ready. I told him to tell them to cancel the order and he could go on his way. I never received any communication at all from the manager. When I got my credit card bill, they had the gall to charge me for this order. We order fairly large lunches twice a week and I always order from restaurants in the Lenexa and Olathe areas. Support local right? I will never use the Olathe Mr. Goodcents again. The people at the Lenexa location know what they are doing, are responsive and get it done right. read more

Could not be more disappointed in the service received today. We ordered a sandwich for curbside pickup at 12:15pm. I had clicked the "here" button on the email as stated when I arrived. The sign in the designated parking spot had a sign to call if we are waiting over 2 minutes. Since I had arrived around noon I waited until 12:17pm to call. I told them I was out front and they told me to come in and get my sandwich. I said I am here for curbside and asked if they were going to bring it out to me. They hung up on me. Ordered two subs online. The site told me my pickup time would be 12:05, about 20 minutes after I ordered. Went I walked into the store, there were about 6 people in line. I walked to the front as their website instructed me and was told my sandwiches were not ready yet. I took a seat to wait. They helped every single person in the line before making my sandwiches. I got out of the store at 12:21. What is the point of ordering ahead? I guess since I had already paid I was not a priority. But hey, they did offer me a free cookie or bag of chips...ugh. This is my fam's favorite place for a quick sub. They slice to order so you can actually taste the flavors of each meat (imagine that!) My favorite is probably the italian with pepperjack. And the bread is basically amazing. So much better than bread I've had at any other sub place. My kids are fans of the chicken alfredo. Even my two year old requests it by name. "Chick-alfredo peease?!" is his reply when we ask what he wants for lunch. read more

Went here on a Monday night at 7:30 and employees were cleaning the store & signaling they were closed. There was a sign on the door saying "closed do [sic] to weather." We frequent this store often. Yesterday I went and asked if I could get a small pasta without getting the kids meal. The girl behind the counter was super nice and said I can do something. Then I hear this lady say no you either have to buy the full order or a kids meal in the rudest tone. I believe she was the manager. It is fine that they wouldn't do this but her tone was totally uncalled for. So not customer friendly. We will not be going here again just for the fact that she was so rude. When this store first opened the service was great and sandwiches were good. On my last visit I walked in and even though there were at least six people working with no other customers in the store no on acknowledged my appearance. Once I got their attention I noticed their cutting board was covered with the remains from previously made sandwiches. They didn't bother to clean it and as they made my sandwich they dragged it through the oil, mustard and residue. It didn't take long for this place to go down hill. read more
