So I went in one day and met Ignazio--Iggy-- the owner of the place. He's a fantastic guy with great stories and he's been cutting hair here for decades. On top of all that- he's a perfectionist when it comes to haircuts. He's great and I love the haircuts! I actually get compliments on my hair after seeing Iggy-- amazing. Other things: no appointment is necessary for Iggy, plan to put aside about an hour and a half for a haircut with him to factor in wait time, and Style Center has hairdressers that cut women's and children's hair.

Anything that touches you is thoroughly cleaned, especially the razor handles which are pretty much left to soak in barbicide solution. These guys play no games when it comes to cleanliness. Price - Prices are very fair. Not much to say here, the prices are what they should be. Venue - You can watch the traffic and happenings of Washington St. as you sit and get your haircut. When it was our turn to get our hair cut, the barber decided to take a different guy that obviously came in after us. He told me that "he was here before me" even though I literally saw him enter after we did. The barber took him because he's a friend or something. I got up and walked right out of the store. I will never go back, and I urge everyone that goes to Fama in Roslindale to never go there again. That is not the right way to treat a long term customer. He acknowledged that but proceeded to lop off the hair on the back of my head.
