I love Natale! She is the only one that I trust with my hair. I have been a victim of several botched hair cuts and have severe trust issues with hair dressers. Its like some don't know what an actual inch is. I told Natale about my fear and she was really great. I used to get my hair cut once a year, but because I trust Natale I see her once every few months and have been seeing her for a year and my hair is really long and healthy. I just had bangs cut recently, which took a lot of courage for me, and Natale did a great job. I've been getting compliments left and right! So I got my hair cut about a month or so ago and got bangs. As you may already know, bangs need up keep; so in my spare time I went online to find reviews for good hairdressers in my area since the place I got my haircut last time was too far and all I needed was a trim for my bangs. Well I came across this really great deal on Lifebooker! It was $29 (plus I found a code for $5 off - TOTAL $24) for a cut and blow (not bad I thought), for that price I might as well just try this out and see what they can do. The haircut was with Rebecca and let me tell you she was great! I had to wait about 10 minutes until she came to get me. We then went to her chair for a consultation - you know, one of those "what would you like done". So I told her I wanted my bangs trimmed and if she could perhaps trim a little in the back, maybe just give me more layers. We went to the back to wash my hair, then came back to her chair and she started trimming. When she came around to the front of my head she really focused on my bangs and framing my face. I got multifunctional bangs, the kind you can wear in front or sweep to the side. Then she blew my hair (three days later and its still holding) and further styled my bangs and around my face. Took her time blowing out the bangs and even re-wet and dried them because one strand was a bit flat. The appointment overall took a bit longer than I would usually spend with a hairdresser, but no complaints, it was well worth it! Everyone has been complimenting my hair. She's pretty good at seeing what styles would go well with your face shape and is not shy to share her thoughts. I wouldn't have come in if it wasn't for the Lifebooker deal, generally speaking this place is too pricey for me but I'm glad I tried it. read more

I came here over a year ago with red hair and wanted my blonde hair back so bad. So I bought a life booker and saw Lorenzo and he was honest that he couldn't get me back to my blonde immediately without ruining my hair. We met a few years ago after a dire hair tragedy. It was really bad and took months to fully rectify, however, Rebecca so brilliantly camouflaged the choppy areas that no one could tell. She then led me back down the path to truly gorgeous color. I get compliments on my hair ALL the time, even from other stylists. They appreciate the color itself as well as the detail of the highlight distribution. I really don't enjoy the whole hair salon atmosphere and would run out of previous salons without a blow dry bc I could not wait to get the F out, but her blow-drys are the best and I couldn't live without them. Had my hair done here for the very first time yesterday and I love love LOVED IT! Not only does the salon have really good vibes, friendly happy faces every where you turn, but also -my hair looks incredible. Emma Parkes did my color and I am so grateful. My friend and I came here to get feather extensions from Chevonne. I had been searching for a salon that had a good selection of feathers and I certainly found it here. The extensions were guaranteed for three weeks and they've been in over a month!! I've even had my hair dyed since she put them in and they were able to foil around them! I get compliments everyday and I love that they're no fuss. I just wash, condition, dry, and style my hair as usual and the feathers still look as good as new! I love my girl Natale! She does amazing things with hair. Her color, cuts and styling are all the best. I have been bouncing from hair dresser to hair dresser all over the city...some cuts bad - but most are just mediocre. Natale brings it to a whole new level! She is really intuitive with what will look good on you, but still listens to what YOU want. If it weren't enough with the hair, she also does amazing makeup ladies! I first experienced Kendra's talent in hair design several years ago when I was directing a music video for an up and coming European-American pop artist. At the time, a friend of a friend of mine was a member of OK Go, and through his rock star stylist connections of people who know people who know people, we happened upon Kendra as our on set hair stylist. I swear my jaw was on the ground during the shoot when I saw her work-- she is able to transform people like no other and created a 1940's updo worthy of legends. The artist went on to sign a record deal in Europe, toured the globe, etc. I swear that hairstyle certainly helped her cause. Fast forward many years later, and I come to find Kendra is back in LA and cutting / coloring at Goodform, and her skills are ripe as ever. I had purchased some extensions that I needed trimmed for my sister in law's Indian wedding, and Kendra did an amazing job trimming them and arranging them on my head, sending me out the door with a diagram of where each one went. I swear I looked celebrity good-- I didn't even know that was possible. By the time I got to the salon where I had to put them in before the party, I felt much more confident having someone random helping me put them in as Kendra had given me the low down on what to and not to do. I had two other stylists (out of town) put them in-- and was glad I could provide feedback and input given what Kendra did. I swear neither could make them look as paparazzi worthy as Kendra did, though, when I left Goodform. I also have gotten my hair cut with her-- and my husband thinks it is the best cut I've ever had. I realize that much of her portfolio is crazy unicorn colors (silver! purple!) or artsy millennials and that those pictures might concern the more conservative ladies (or gents) out there. But I think what Kendra does is bring out the "rock star" in whoever you are-- even if that's not someone with pink hair (I do not have pink hair). Walking away I felt my cut was in line with my sensibility, but on the "cool" side. Above all, she's an artist. She takes the time she needs to get it "right," is consistently educating herself on the latest styles, trends, and techniques, and takes her work seriously. I went to this salon for years. It is the bomb dot com. I came in with my hair down to my waist, with blonde highlights I hadn't kept up because I didn't care about them and didn't really like any blonde being in my hair because I already felt very done with that phase. I was platinum blonde all through College and even though what I had in was grown out highlights, I still just wanted a drastic change. I did not express that to my stylist at all. In fact, he didn't even say a word to me at first. He got right to work without asking me what I had in mind and soon enough I had jet black hair that almost reached my shoulders and bangs that were unbelievable. Those were the best bangs I have ever seen in my life, if I do say so myself. I always got complimented on my hair after my initial appointment. He took off almost 10" of hair without asking and took me from ashy dirty blondish brownish to pitch black like the color black in the crayon box black. And it was the most amazing hair cut I have ever had in my life. Later, as I continued to go to him, of course, we became friendly and I asked him about that day and he said he had a vision of perfection immediately and he knew I was the type to trust him otherwise I would have said something already and that I would definitely know it was exactly what I needed. He was right. I loved wearing my hair that way until my next change about a year and a half later. I have shaved my head, had my hair pink, red, aquamarine, blue, blonde, black, brown, there's nothing more to try. And that's good because that would be terrible if I was still going through those phases while having a C-Level executive position with a great company. Goodform is a great salon - cool atmosphere, friendly staff, and the best products. I followed my hair stylist Chevonne Moore here from another salon and I'm so glad I did! I make dramatic changes in my cut and color often and Chevonne consistently executes every style better than I envisioned. I have extremely high standards when it comes to hair and nothing is worse than getting a bad haircut, trying to hide it/grow it out, and panicking about finding a stylist who can fix it. This will never happen with Chevonne. You can sit down with a picture of Kate Moss, throw a bunch of random ideas at her, and before you know it you'll have a fab style. I can't say enough great things about EMMA and Goodform itself. I've been going to see Emma for about two years now, and have always been thrilled upon leaving the salon- and I'm not talking "I'm happy with my highlights and blowout". I mean she has taken me from my natural color to icy platinum, to vibrant purple which wore down gorgeously to a pastel pink, back to my natural, to highlights again, all while growing out my pixie cut. And if you've ever had a pixie cut, you know how hard it is to enjoy your hair during the grow-out period. She has a true knack for color- I think some people just have an innate understanding of color and process, and she's one of them. My hair tends toward warm tones, which she picked up on immediately, so she knows how to get me down to a cooler, brighter blonde without any eek-it's-orange! drama. She's super collaborative and finds a way not only to give you what you want, but also what will work best for your hair and its health. Stellar. Oh yeah, and she's also super adorable and kind and warm and attentive. It's always a pleasure to go in and see her. I LOVE THIS PLACE! I have been seeing Lilly for 3 years at goodform. This place is amazing. I make the drive from Long Beach every 2 month and its worth every mile of the drive. Lilly is perfect! i have had my hair long, short, cropped, colored and its perfect every time. Then she carefully studied my hair and asked the right questions regarding my styling habits, parts, and overall "hair personality" desires. I have major trust issues when it comes to people cutting my hair, the last horror story left me so wounded i didn't get my hair cut in 3 years. I followed Martine Le Blanc to Goodform from her former salon and can't say enough kindness about Martine as a person, stylist, and absolute rockstar magic-maker. In two years, I have seen my hair become substantially healthier with minimal effort on my part (important for me). My color looks fantastic, I love my cut every single time, and when I've gone in for a blow-out, I've always left looking and feeling like a million bucks. I had Martine do my hair and make up for my latest headshot shoot as well and was really happy with her work. It's so nice to be able to trust someone completely and know that not only does she take that seriously, but almost by instinct she knows just what I need/want. I've recommended her to all of my friends and am always impressed with how they turn out - she does great men's cuts, too! It's important for me to have a stylist who gets me, but Martine is so open and kind and talented, I'm sure she leaves everyone feeling amazing. To be in her presence is a truly a joy, and to glean some of her incredible style and grace is restorative every time. About the salon - its convenient (I always find easy street park on the side street north of Melrose), has really friendly staff (best shampoo massage in town), lots of natural light, good products, and a cute, sunny back patio (if stealing a smoke while wearing foils is your thing).
