I decided to order the Korean short rib burrito for my first dive into the Korean Mexican fusion world. I was not disappointed. Love how the kimchi and short rib work within a burrito, and it's very fair pricing for what you get. I liked that they weren't stingy with the beef. The flavor was savory and had plenty of the umami flavor you expect from Korean bbq, and the kimchi brings a great crunch. The line was long for the truck, but from what I've heard, I may have gotten off easy with only a 30 minute wait - this place is popular! Anyway, really dug it and found it something fascinating and new to me. Excited to try the tacos next.

My go to is the burrito and it is still delicious. So much Korean bbq flavor! It was large and stuffed with the short rib goodness, scrambled eggs, diced potatoes and a little cheese. Sounds like a breakfast burrito doesn't it? With a side of kimchi, my lunch was perfect. One of the few trucks I would consider a favorite. If you see it, don't second guess yourself. Get the burrito or a taco at the very least!

Cheese was sufficient, but the nachos probably would have been better with more ingredients. Also, the salsa was quite nonexistent (or maybe the pork covered all the tasted). The fries were mostly edible but the tenders swept me down memory lane to elementary school lunchtime. McDonalds can serve real meat chicken for pennies, yet this place can get away with selling six pieces of fluffy, mystery meat nuggets masquerading as tenders for $10?!? They even managed to burn the hell out of whatever form of protein/cardboard they are currently hawking out of the back of this truck. Post script - a coworker ordered the nachos and was equally unimpressed as the chicken was covered in the unmistakable smell of sea food. Nice.

Ordered a Lox Bagel with Cream Cheese, lettuce, and tomato, toasted. I also got Everything Bagel with Scallion Cream Cheese & sliced tomato. Both bagels were FRESH AND DELICIOUS!! They didn't skimp out on the ingredients. Also toasted. It was perfectly toasted to my own liking. Both guys inside the truck gave a nice welcome, and had a pleasant smile on their faces. Didn't have to wait to long for the food to come out. There were maybe 6 people before me. I ate both bagels right on the street. They have few outside seating, don't accept cash, have bottles/cans of cold drinks, have only street and metered parking, closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. This interesting truck dining experience has been around since 2014 and is owned by Jewish people. The truck goes to different locations. They also provide some tables and chairs for you to sit, socialize, and enjoy the food while the DJ plays music in the background. The one downfall I would note is that the food trucks that actually show up do not necessarily always match the confirmed list of food trucks they post beforehand. Therefore, don't come expecting something specific (just in case that truck doesn't show up), come with an open mind to try various things!

There are more than 30 food trucks to choose from. Come early though because long lines form easily and favorites might run out early. Businesses remain open during the event and offer specials such as discounts and free samplings of their products. Lots of free private and street parking. People walk up and down the boulevard browsing stores, avail of samples and discounts, buy food and desserts from the trucks, etc. They come in groups, either with family members or circle of friends. A lot of people also bring their dogs along with them for a good walk. This is a fantastic event to attend to so if you are interested, mark your calendars every last Friday of each month and enjoy one fantastic evening along the boulevard.
