The fellow behind the counter isn't Brian, but told me he bought the place from Brian, lol. Recently I had a strawberry slushy and asked him to make it with boba. It which was delicious. I asked him if he knew the calorie count for the drink and he admitted he didn't, explaining that they make their own syrups with brown sugar so it probably is pretty high in calories. So, points for telling the truth! Again, he has a contactless pay system that always makes my heart sink a little. It's so impersonal and always pops up the requiste how- much-do-you-wanna-tip page. Still Brian's is a fun spot with a good cross-section of flavors and tastes and friendly service. Looks like they're shaved ice creations are pretty awesome. But I just had to have some boba!

I didn't put a lot of flavor on mine so when I ate half of my cup, I went back to ask if I could add more flavor and the lady said I could. I went back to explain to the guy and was like I didn't even drink it, I was just leaving the lot. And he just says it was intact when I gave you, maybe you need a plastic bag next time?? It looked like a cup defect to me which has never happened. He was rude and unhelpful; didn't really want to talk. Common courtesy would be to just replace the drink even if a smaller size.
