Now I can handle extreme heat (I could do Hot Ones no problem) and more often than not I'm let down by what most places consider spicy. Not this time however I knew it was gonna be good when the staff from the kitchen started to check me out after it was ordered. Nestled right between the bars, it's the perfect stumbling distance when the night is winding down and hunger starts making decisions for you. The tacos are flavorful, the stewed meats hit the spot, and somehow everything tastes even better when you're debating whether to go home or order one more drink. My biggest advice: get there before last call. Otherwise, expect a long line. So, is Guisados the greatest taco place on earth? Probably not. Is it exactly what I want when I'm hungry, exhausted, and looking for salvation wrapped in a tortilla? Absolutely.

Also, make sure you ask them for pineapples since they did not include it until we asked. They do have them sliced up in a container by the meats. Ambience is very casual and it's a stand while eating type of situation. Service was quick.

The service was also pretty good and the single guy running the taco stand was nice. Overall, a good experience here. I would come back since this taco stand is conveniently located near my place of residence.

Wonderful Company and a great way to add to any event you are having. I have been to several events that have had "Let's Have A Cart Party" at the event and I am always pleased with the food and the staff. It was cute to see the children's reaction to the colorful carts and the variety of food. I heard one young boy say he was going to have them at his party because they have the best food in the world. (out of the mouths of babes LOL) They did have great food, wonderful variety, professional staff and great attitudes. I will recommend them to anyone having a party or event. I have seen them at Red Carpet events I've been to, Office parties and more. The food is always great. They adapt to all themes. I will make sure they are at all events I hold on the West coast. I look forward to going to more event that they are set up at. Highly recommended. read more

I will be honest, I have been working for this company for the last 7.5 years! I wouldn't be working for them if they weren't the best. However, I have been enjoying Cart Parties for as long as I can remember. All my family members have carts at every major event I can think of. Birthday perties, bar/bat mitzvahs, baby showers - you name it. My mom even had them serve all the food at her 50th birthday party ( I was only 11 years old at the time)! If you are looking for a unique way to serve food at your party and doesn't even require a kitchen to do so, then these are the people you want! Even though they have been around forever, I am submitting the first review. And Scott Tessler and his team all talked to our guests in such a nice way. It was fun to have them there. We have used Silver Spoons intermittently over the years - for our daughter's wedding in Malibu in 2015, and now again, to introduce her baby to our friends and family. I'm beginning to think we should do this more often - the results from Scott and Silver Spoons are outstanding. After our event was over, exhausted, we came back to our kitchen, and discovered scads of perfectly wrapped leftovers - Steve and I simultaneously went hunting for that incredible mustard - oh, no, did they leave us some?
