To this day there is nothing preventing Goodlife from correcting a billing error they admit to. They refuse - any rebuttal they have - well may want to consider what I stated. Out of all the medical providers I had - they were the only ones who brought up my settlement amount, which isn't any of their business (Unless their using equity billing model) ** March 2026 ** Cadence to this - the medical board suggested few things, one was small claims, I wish I had started there. I want to emphasize my case was/is based off a personal injury. I wish I had the resources available/provided, so I could have made informed decisions based off such. Finally this matter was brought to small claims in Inglewood, the attorney that was to represent me for the entire matter, is facing disciplinary proceedings with the bar, and its obvious I am alone in this. I do not wish that for anyone. Summary: * The case is now barred due to statute of limitations (per small claims). * Good Life acknowledged owing me $690 due to an internal billing error. * They have refused to issue the refund unless I sign away my rights to pursue any past, present, or future claims. That condition alone is concerning. There is nothing preventing them from correcting a known billing error without requiring a full release of liability. The decision to tie a simple refund to a waiver of rights speaks for itself. For anyone evaluating this organization, I would encourage reviewing publicly available information and forming your own conclusions: * Publicly available court records, including a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing (2023) that was later dismissed (2025) * Publicly available court records involving employee-related disputes * Public reviews (including Groupon) * My documented experience Taken together, these elements may help others make more informed decisions than I was able to at the time. Had a severe sciatic nerve event a few months ago that was beyond painful, slipped disc, etc etc, though recovering, I wanted a local chiropractor that can help me along the way. While price is one thing quality and service has to be there, so I checked their reviews and they were great. Scheduled an appointment and from the get-go they were first class! Do NOT go here. I got new insurance so I called them to see if they take my insurance. They told me I needed to come in to discuss. I asked to make sure before scheduling the appointment that I was not going to get charged since I'm just trying to find out my insurance coverage. They told me there would be no charge. I then go in for the appointment they set up, and they tell me I don't have coverage. I made sure again that there was no charge for the things that they were doing WHICH I DIDN'T EVEN ASK FOR. All I wanted was to see if they took my insurance. This appointment was back on 10/13/20. Now suddenly today I get a letter in the mail from my insurance saying they are not able to process the claim for this office in the amount of $654. SIX MONTHS after I was seen. DO NOT GO HERE. They are trying to get people in the door saying they won't discuss insurance coverage over the phone, and then billing insurance for services you didn't even ask for, and the services they told you WOULD BE NO CHARGE. Had to wait over an hour for an adjustment, and the rookie chiropractor was very rough with how he adjusted my neck... it has felt out of wack ever since. Came here to use my Groupon because I was having some neck and back pain. I called to have an appointment and initially they didn't answer but I left a message for them to reach back which they did a few hours later. Making the appointment was a very smooth process and luckily there was an opening the next day. I came to a very clean clinic, I was immediately helped by the receptionist there. She had me e-sign some waivers and other essential information that was needed. Afterwards, I was seated in this room where I met Dr. Tomlinson where he properly assessed me and listened to what was going on with my neck and back. He answered any questions that I had and I absolutely loved how he educated me on what to do and what not to do. Afterwards, we went to get my x-rays done to have a baseline on my potential pt care plan. Afterwards, I got adjusted & wow... he cracked me like an egg haha. It was my first time ever to be adjusted so it was such a fun and interesting experience! I had a great experience here, the staff is really nice, the clinic is very organized and the pt education is so strong here. I've been coming to Goodlife for a few years now for general upkeep. I try to come weekly for an adjustment and my massage with Jennifer. A year ago, my lower back was giving me problems, and more recently, i had TMJ issues. Both issues are now gone! My lower back has been fixed thanks to adjustments from Dr. Chris & Dr. Merrick, as well as physical therapy with Erica. My TMJ was solved at the Surgical center after one procedure! I went to the hospital for two lower lumbar bulged discs that were causing me Great tremendous pain nonstop for days. The hospital couldn't do anything and discharged me even though I was still in great pain. I was recommended to come to this chiropractor by a friend and used a Groupon to get me started. Dr. Merrick adjusted my back and literally saved me from a great deal of agonizing pain. Their services is outstanding and I will recommend this to anyone. P.S.A Good customer service starts with the reception area. I noticed that the intake person was going to be rude from the introduction. I sat with my husband, we are 60 plus, and the music changed to a station with vile rap lyrics, just degrading! I was then taken to an area to fill out paperwork. I asked the receptionist about using a Groupon, "We ran your insurance, and it will be $250" I told her I would rather use the Groupon. She then told "you need to listen." That is when I made my exit. You can not treat people poorly and expect them to spend money with you. There are a million chiropractors in the Los Angeles. I made another appointment with a different one before leaving Goodlife's parking lot. Why offer Groupon if you begrudge taking it. Terrible experience. read more

I live locally, location and parking is convenient. The Doctors, in particular Dr Monsoor is excellent. LOVE him! He goes above and beyond to give you a great experience. I would truly give this place 5 stars if it weren't for the front desk staff. They are very arrogant, nonchalant, passive aggressive and dismissive. I came here several times and never once was I greeted with a smile. Their demeanor and treatment towards clients is just a joke. They must hate their job. One of the 2 that are normally at the front desk told someone that Dr Monsoor has only been there 3 months and what he says doesn't really matter. EWWWW just EWWWW.
