The management team changed. So I have to change 4 stars to 1 star. They don't show up for the clean service anymore. I called them and found out their phone menu changed too. There is no way you can leave a message for them. And nobody will answer your call anyway. It seems they only take the commercial clean service now. Not just me. My friend emailed and called them many times, they have missed two appointments with her. And finally we called MooLaLa who we purchased the limo deal from. I agree with Katie, This company is a fraud. They seriously need to be investigated. I purchased a morgans deal for 2 hours of housecleaning from Goodlyfe. I called them about 4 weeks ago and made an appt for today for them to come out. They contacted me last night after they were closed and asked me to confirm the appt when i went to call them back there was no way for me to leave a message on their machines, i called again and the same thing. This guy called me this morning at 730 who was rude and told me bc I didnt call back last night that they were cancelling my appointment. I explained to him I did call back to confirm and so he talked to "the owner" about coming back out today since i was already on the schedule and I did call back and they said they would be out from 8-12. I agreed and hung up. He called me back AGAIN to then ask me for more money as they charged tax for the item. When I simply asked him why wasnt this explained to me when I made the appointment he rudly told me it was and that he was going to cancel my voucher and that I had an attitude. That is completly uncalled for when I simply asked a question and I didnt expect to be woken up at 730 to be yelled at that my appt was going to be cancelled bc I didnt reach Gabriel after hours. From the other reviews it seems as if they are making a business of taking peoples money, making it difficult to set up the service and then taking their coupon money and running. UPDATE: Morgans Deals just ended their relationship with this company and have refunded all the buyers back since they seem to be wanting their money and not giving the service that the customers paid for. read more

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. If you got a groupon, return it. I received a 2 hour cleaning coupon from a friend. I thought it strange that the man on the phone called me Madam. He knew me name. Also, I thought it strange that the cleaning person would arrive between 8 and 12. But, for such a nice treat, I would make 4 hours of my day available. I ignored the other yelp reviews. The lady who cleaned arrived at 9:15. She reminded me that she would only be working for 2 hours and what were my priorities. I told her the bathrooms and the floors. Due the negative reviews on yelp, and nowhere on their website does it say they bonded or insured, I decided to stay while she worked. After an hour of work. She said she was done. She asked to use my vacuum, and asked for a garbage bag. Then offered to dust if I had a duster. Seriously, shouldn't professionals have commercial grade cleaners and tools? Additionally, she didn't pick up the soap or shampoos to clean the shelves underneath. And while looking at the floor under my desk, she didn't clean under it either. I would have been much happier to take 4 hours of my day cleaning myself. And, they ruined a lovely gift from a lovely friend. I called their offices to complain. They asked me to hold to see how to remedy this situation. No Thank you. I have no time or patience for your 4 hour window of availability AGAIN. JUST TERRIBLE. read more

I should have read these reviews a long time ago when I originally tried to make my limo reservation from a groupon I purchased last year and was told they had no availability until December. They are now red flagged on groupon and I got my refund today. Thank you to groupon customer service for being quick to respond and processing my refund. Stay away from GoodLyfe! Any company that considers it acceptable to have a limo NOT show up after I called to confirm THREE TIMES (because they were so sketchy) should be shut down immediately. They never showed up. They never called. They do not have a working emergency number, and nobody is at their office. After trying to locate a company to charter 16 of us to and from a marina on a Saturday morning and afternoon I found a special with Goodlyfe. I was told that they could accomodate me so I went ahead and purchased the special and was told to call back that coming Monday. James (Jim) was more than helpful in working with our situation after being told that they were booked that day. They actually rented a van to take us and bring us back although they could have just given me my money back and moved on. The driver was very nice and even arrived early for the ride back which was great since we were ready to go. All in all I would recommend Goodlyfe for transportation needs as their service was excellent! read more

This company is a hot mess!!! They don't return phone calls. It's very difficult setting up an appointment. No one ever answers the phone. And they don't make good on their word. I purchased a Moolala deal with the intent of hiring them to clean my house prior to hosting a baby shower. I purchased the deal well in advance if my target appointment date. I called them to setup an appointment and had to leave a voicemail message. One week later and no one had called so I called again. Someone called me back but I missed his call. I called back 2 minutes later and was told he went to lunch. I left a message. I waited another four days with no return call so I called again. I begged the person on the phone to schedule an appointment with me which he did. The crazy thing was that they gave me a four hour window and said this was standard protocol. They don't give definitive appointment times. Who does this besides the cable company? He told me that they would call me fourteen days in advance to confirm my appointment. It never showed up, they had no one to answer the phones when I called, and what's worse, when I finally got hold of someone in "management" the following week (after 4 days of trying) I was simply told they have had some "changes with personnel" and apologized for the confusion. So I contacted giltcity.com the folks who bought buyywithme.com last year. I told them about your reviews on Goodlyfe, pasted a few of them into my email [mostly the ones who mentioned "fraud"] and pleaded with them to make the purchase "right". They responded within the hour, offered apologies and said since they did not receive the money from the purchase originally and did not have the buywithme credit card info they would not be able to refund the money, BUT they did offer store credit to giltcity.com which is HUGE and offers all kinds of retail products. I was very, very pleased with the outcome and immediately contacted my boyfriend [for whom I had purchased the original limo ride] and told him, have fun picking out something-you just got a store credit! I found Goodlyfe limo service on a Moolala deal back in June of 2011. I was so excited to get it since I was going to be getting married 10 days from purchase. We called immediately to make reservations. It took numerous phone calls to finally get someone to answer. Finally my fiance got thru to someone and they said they needed to check to see if they were available and would call us back to confirm. The guy never called us back and never returned our calls. We finally had to call a different limo service to guarentee that we would have a limo for our big day. Now we are 4 days away from it expiring and I dont know if its worth trying to cash in on it, call Moolala to get our money back or just throw away our $45. Goodlyfe is NOT a reputable or trustworthy company in our opinion. read more
