It's also been sitting in my draft reviews for quite awhile (for those of you tracking). Started coming here a couple of years ago, around 2023 and just love it. It's a smaller store but they have lots of well-curated pieces and a really good selection of formal wear, dresses, skirts, jewelry, etc. I was prompted to take care of this draft review and a few others today because of a dress in the window here. A friend was recently in town visiting and asked that I go back and get a picture of the dress in the window. She is thinking about purchasing it (or having me purchase it and send it to her lol). Anyway, here's something to know: items displayed in the window have waitlists for folks intersting in purchasing. Anytime I have been in the shop, including today, service is friendly and helpful. The store is clean and the vintage pieces they carry are in pristine condition. You know what I like to say at this point-shop local, support small businesses!

Interestingly, the store combines vintage items with some modern items. For example, socks, some jewelry and sunglasses are non-vintage. While the store is small, it is easy to browse. In addition, clothing and shoe items are spaced apart where you can easily view them and ferret through the racks. The value of items are reasonably priced and some items as low as $5. I did not find anything I could not live without, however, I will definitely pop in from time to time. Also, there is a fair amount of free parking. The store manager was super helpful and personable.

This…read morereview is a long time coming as I have many draft reviews that I am still working on getting posted. As the mother of a rescue dog who was going to be euthanized, I am 100% behind everything this thrift store stands for. In fact, every 6 months when I overhaul my closet, I donate A LOT of clothing, shoes, and accessories to the store in support of the cause. I also like to swing by as part of my North Loop jaunt (every few months, hit up North Loop stores and pubs---to include APA!) to make purchases. Found quite a few cute things here over the years not only for myself but friends and family. They've got an amazing selection of items and each time I pop in they seem to have loads more. Support this local shop in saving animal lives. Trust me, you will find something to buy!

My collection has dwindled over the years through breakage. So I was thrifting looking for pink depression glass. The Burnet Road location is large, well organized with two-stories of items. It is filled with just about anything that you can imagine. Clothing...they have it! Shoes...they have it! Vintage items...they have it! Kitchen and house wears...they have it! Unfortunately, no pink depression glass. I will definitely return to thrift here due to their large selection of things. In addition, their prices are very reasonable. First stop Austin Pets Alive! - Burnet. I learned that all net sale proceeds go directly to support Austin Pets Alive!'s lifesaving programs for animals most at risk. This place does SO much good for the community. They clothe so many children it's unreal. When I went in one day I got several tops and some fabric and sewing notions. They have unique pieces, ones you can envision wearing or putting in your home. At ATX Thrift store the thrill of the hunt is still alive and bubbling in your shopping veins. Smile. The selection of items rotates frequently with clothing, shoes, accessories, and goods that range from everyday basics to those one of kind items. You can find unique antique furniture like a victrola, a retro jacket, antique costume jewelry or a quirky décor piece. It is so much fun thrifting here. The little ladies that manage this store are so super sweet. I was trying to getting to a door that was locked. The store sales representative came outside to get me and take me through the correct door. I guess I did not realize that door was no longer open. These ladies are kind and will go out their way to help you. The prices of the pieces at ATX Thrift are reasonable and very affordable. It is nothing like going to a thrift store and finding item and then realizing it is way overpriced. As many times as I have visited ATX Thrift, I can honestly say their prices are consistently fair. While I did not find my pink depression glass, I did have fun shopping.
